Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Chapter 74: High Level Fight

The shockwave was so strong that the whole imaginary real was shooked by it, Sol had expected that he would soon get the benefit of defeating the Sun God incarnation, but even after he arrived in front of the giant ice-blue star, he did not feel any change.

The ice blue star was so big, it started to sink into a silhouette that Sol remembered, it was just a few days ago that he fight that thing, in front of him was the giant Yeti that he remembered.

The giant Yeti screamed at him and Sol could feel its strength, "Fuck! It is as strong as it was!" Sol cursed to himself.

Sol was in torn as he was far from his peak, he was tired from all the conjuring he had done before, Sol thought that the boost in strength he got from beating the incarnation would help him recover but it turns out that he got nothing.

He looked in horror as the giant run toward him on all four, it was eager to take revenge at Sol for taking its life, "Fuck! Can this get worse?" Sol lamented as he gets ready to fight the giant Yeti.

Just as the giant about to arrive at him, a silhouette zoom in from distance and crash with the giant Yeti's body, resulting in it to tumble to the side a dozen meters.

Sol looked at it with wide eyes as he recognizes the Shillouete, it was the Incarnation of Apollo, he had fracture all over his body but Sol could see then healing over time albeit a bit slower because of the number of fracture on his body.

He was still wearing his golden armor but it already melts badly that Sol could not even compare it to the majestic armor he had worn before, the right part of the armor was missing a few parts near the arm.

"Shit! Me and my mouth," Sol regretted his words as the world decide to make things worse.

Sol was still looking at the man when the Yeti pick himself up and roared at the incarnation of Apollo, it was pissed that someone gets in his way of revenge.

The scream got Sol's attention, as he looked at the giant creature, he notices a hairline of fracture on its body from the impact that the incarnation of Apollo had inflicted on it upon his arrival.

Seeing that the fracture did not disappear or heal, Sol was relieved a bit, "Luckily it does not heal too," he muttered.

The man looked at the giant in annoyance as he did not have any interest in fighting the giant Yeti at the moment, Sol had humiliated him and injured him badly that he wanted to kill Sol so much.

On the other hand, the Yeti had thought that the man was helping Sol, he attracted the giant Yeti's anger, the giant Yeti also think of the man as a threat so it rushed at him rather at Sol.

Seeing the chance, Sol always put himself behind the giant Yeti's body so the incarnation of God need to pass by the Demigod before he was able to harm him.

The man was annoyed, he had tried to bypass the giant and go after Sol but the Demigod kept getting in his way, it was so persistent.

The incarnation of Apollo was only a small part of the almighty God, he did not have the raw strength to blast the Demigod into nothingness, he had tried to pierce the Yeti with his arrow but it was not able to pierce its thick fur.

The conjured arrow was not as strong as the real deal, it only had a fraction of the real arrow power, but it was still enough to inflict damage to the Demigod, it things keep going then the Demigod would lose in the long run.

On the other hand, the Demigod's attack was strong enough to stop the God's incarnation from healing his wound, some attack even able to worsen the man's wounds.

The Yeti had an opposing element from the incarnation of Apollo, Apollo was the sun god while the giant Yeti element was ice, it caused them to inflict greater damage to each other.

Sol could the giant Yeti as a blessing in disguise as it gave him a well-needed rest, Sol kept himself behind the Yeti while resting, every second count as he was exhausted.

As the God and Demigod hash it out with each other, Sol also planing his move to somehow win the fight.

He kept as much low profile as he could as to not attract the Demigod's attention, it both Demigod and the incarnation of Apollo was after him then it would be the end of him.

He was not even sure if Mineva would be able or willing to save him if Apollo was the one who takes over his body.

As time goes, both the Demigod and the incarnation of Apollo was getting even more fracture in their body, but Sol could see that the Demigod was losing.

"My best bet is to help the Yeti to kill that man," Sol conclude, he could not use another hydrogen bomb on him as he would be alert this time.

The last time it was a success because the incarnation of Apollo had looked down on mortal's invention and technology, now he had eaten a bitter pill, there is no way he would fall for it again.

"My best bet is to attack when both of them are on their weakest point, right before the incarnation of Apollo finish off the Yeti is my chance," Sol concluded as he rests.

But Sol was not sure what he could do to finish the job when it comes to it, He did not have any weapon to finish the job other than his armament, to use it, he needs to get closer but it would alert the man if he gets closer.

After a long time of thinking, Sol decided to go for his last fighting site with the man, he would like to know if that thing survives the explosion.

The Incarnation of Apollo finds out that Sol was about to go away but he could not stop him as he was stopped by the Demigod.

At the fighting site, Sol could sense the atmosphere was at boiling point, it was so hot that he sweat, if he were a normal human then he would be cooked already.

"Shit, It's so hot here, luckily that made it easier for me to find this place," Sol said to himself.

To find a place in the space without a coordinate or landmark was way harder than he thought, he was lucky that he went to that area, he just follows where the most heat was.

Sol gets to the center of the heat but still could not find anything but he did not give up, he searches the areas as the item he was looking for might get thrown away by the shockwave.

From his estimation, the Demigod would last around an hour since he left, it had taken him fifteen minutes to find the center of the explosion so it left him with around forty minutes to find the thing and get back.

Sol searched in a spiral from the center of the explosion, it was thirty minutes already since he started searching but he had not found anything other than some melted gold which probably from the man's armor.

"Should I get back and risk sneaking at that man?" Sol contemplated his option when his attention was suddenly attracted by something.

Around a hundred meters from him he could see something flying in the space, he hurriedly went there to find out if it was what he was looking for.

"Yes! It survived!" Sol celebrates as he found out that it was what he wants it to be.

Sol was looking for the arrows he had stopped before, he wanted to use it to beat the incarnation of Apollo.

It had survived the explosion as it was quite far from the center of the explosion and was encased by a ball of water, and it also strong in itself.

Sol tried to find the other three arrow as he had stopped three of them but he could not find them even as the time limit he set for himself was up.

In the end, He left whit what he got as it was better that he got one arrow and try his luck than fight it with three arrows but there is not Demigod keeping the incarnation of Apollo occupied.

When Sol arrived at the place of the fight to find that both of the God and Demigod still at each other neck, the Demigod at his last line as he had lost one hand and fracture on his body had almost covered every inch of his body.

"Luckily I decide to get back five minutes sooner," He mused, if he had waited another minute then there was a high chance of the Demigod to die already when he came back.
