Sol Vestitor: New Age of God

Inside the frozen sun was no the firebird he had expected, it was a naked girl with flaming red hair, it didn't take long for Sol to realize that the girl was the flaming bird's human form.

She was unconscious, her face was pale but Sol still senses her vitality, Demigod as not as easy to kill, her life force still greater than normal people's life force.

With a mere thought, Sol conjures a thin ice dress around her body, they cover her lite figure but also work as restraining in case she was faking sleep and going to attack him.

Sol Continue to widen the hole on the frozen sun, with his sharpened knife, his speed becomes faster than before, he destroyed the ice sun into rubbles of ice so he could move it easily.

The ice was so solid and heavy because it was made from the heat it absorbed from the black sun, material created by combining two Demigod power was stronger than normal conjured material.

If not for his armament ability, Sol would have a hard time destroying the ice sun, it was the most solid material he ever saw next to the temple of god's material.

After five minutes of widening the hole, it was finally big enough to pull the girl out of it, Sol pulled her out and lay her on the ground a bit further from the ice Sun.

The ice sun had stopped absorbing more heat as Sol stopped supplying it with his energy but it still radiates cold air so he moves away from it.

He could hear a lot of murmuring from people around him, they were guessing what he going to do to the unconscious girl, he could hear many bad speculations which made him gloomy, "Fuck! I'm an upright person, a man with integrity, why does everyone think that I'm scum?"

Sol noticed that the girl's temperature was higher than normal, she was hot as a fire, she did look hot but what he finds hot was not her appearance but her temperature.

"Luckily I conjured the ice gown, it not for it, my hand might get burned," Sol lamented, his biggest reason to cover the girl was to stop other to spread another rumor about him but it was also useful in many other ways.

After she was moved away from the Ice sun, her body grew hotter and her face also grows brighter, she was not as pale as she was, to his surprise, her body also grew older, before she looked like she was 16 years old, now she looked like 20 years old girl in the prime of her life.

It didn't take long before she regains her consciousness, she opened her eye wide and turned to Sol, with a leap she pulls a distance from him, fire bloom all around her body melting the ice gown but it soon replaced by a fire gown.

Honestly, Sol preferred the ice blue gown but the current flaming gown that flickers like fire it is looked stunning as well.

"Can we talk now?" Sol said while he slowly gets to his feet, he moved slowly to look cool like the way he moves at the start of the battle, some people even forget how miserable he was fighting against the flaming bird when it starts to use the dark fire.

The girl threw a glare at him but nodded in the end as he was weakened after the fight, she had used the dark flame to the limit and it took a toll on her body, she would not stand a chance against Sol this time, even if he only uses his ice armor and knife.

She was even in doubt whether she could get into her combat form or not within the next few days, the ability backlash was as great as the power it brings.

Against another Demigod, the flaming bird would not even need to use the dark fire, she could justify her normal fire and would easily win but Sol was a bad match for it.

"Let's talk somewhere else, follow me," She said with a dignity that he almost forgot that she was the berserk bird who attack him out of nowhere.

"Wait for a minute, let me get my companion," Sol told her and went toward Nerva and the other.

Sol was just a guard for the delegation, the one who going to negotiate was Tanya, but Sol doubts her ability would be able to affect the Demigod, Demigods have an inherent resistance against those below Demigod rank.

When he gets to Tanya, he told her to use her ability, "Tanya, try to use your ability at me," he wanted to know, how effective her ability against him.

"Mr. Sol, please raise your hand," She said simply as the simpler the command was the easier it influence people.

Sol could sense a bit of compulsion to do so but it was like a drop of water in a pond, it barely able to influence his decision.

"Change of plan, you can't negotiate with a demigod, I will be there to convince her as well," Sol told the teenage girl.

Tanya might look adult but she was just a child in his eye, it would be too dangerous to let her negotiate, if the bird notices her trying to influence her decision, he was afraid that it would kill her.

He had no experience in negotiation, he even got fooled by the old man from the temple of Jupiter to go with the delegation, but he was sure that he could still negotiate with a hot-headed bird.

"Moon, take the girls to rest somewhere around the Temple of Minerva, if there is trouble then get them into the temple, there is no need to be afraid to get in, the Goddess would let you in if you are in trouble" He instructed Moon to protect the other.

Sol went with Tanya and Black toward the waiting girl in fire gown, she leads them toward the temple of Gaea.

She got into a building that looked like a meeting hall with Sol and the other two behind her and took her seat on a business table, she took the head position while leaving Sol and Tanya standing.

"You can talk now," She said as if they were her subordinate.

It made Sol annoyed as the girl was very arrogant even though she had got beaten by him.

He snorted and conjured two-seat of ice, He made it was bigger and grander than the seat the flaming bird sits on.

They took their seat while blacky just lay on the floor by Tanya's seat, Sol looked at Tanya and told her, "You can talk with her, I'm just here to observe."

Luckily Sol went with her or the negotiation would not bear any good result, The firebird was really too shameless.

Tanya started to explain their goal in the negotiation and what their city government wanted to do with the gate between the city.

"I can see the benefit from this gate, it will aid our city growth and increase our resource diversity, but I think the division of profit is a bit unfair," the girl who called herself Nix said.

"Our city is bigger and richer, even the number of our heir is higher than yours, I think we should get more than fifty percent of the profit." She states her stance.

The temple's leader had expected this, that was why they sent Tanya to convince the other party, but now the other party turned out to be a Demigod, their plan had become moot.

"Also, don't try to persuade me with your power, it has no use on me," she warned Tanya with a glare.

"Nix, why don't you give me some face? I think we should divide the profit equally," Sol told the girl, he let his presence out which pressured the girl, she was weakened so she could feel the threat in his word.

Sol was not interested in power play and he did not like to use violence to solve things but twenty percent from the gate tax his government gets would be his and remembering the girl's behavior, he did feel bad to use his superior strength to pressure the girl.

The girl's face turned gloomy as it was actually an unfair deal, "Fine, how do we finalize the deal?" she asked.

Tanya pulled out a document that had been signed by every temple's representative, "You only need to sign this document and it would work as a pledge in the name of every God if anyone bridges the agreement that they would be punished by the God."

Nix hesitated for a bit but Sol's presence made her unable to change her mind, she felt wronged as she was forced to agree.

"Just you wait, I will have my revenge someday!" She promised herself while glaring at him.
