It didn't take long for everyone to be convinced of their plan. In fact Clay could see the other group being greatly relieved, it looked like no one had really thought about how they would go about and find a water source.

Knowing no one would have bothered to check, Clay took the initiative to see if their info doc contained any information of water sources in the area. The good thing about the technology was that there was built in navigation network linked to the colony's infrastructure communications system which would give a rough positioning of where they were. Though some areas were still shown as unknown, the central parts of the terrain that they were travelling was highlighted. It didn't take long for them to find three viable locations to go to.

"Hello, come over here guys look," pointing to the holographic 3D projection from his comm link, Clay gestured at the expansive map that came up in front of him. "This is where we are now, according to our position there are three places we can check for water."

The squadron soon gathered around him as they realised that their mission would be simpler than they expected. It looked like it paid to listen to the Sergeant Coniver's instructions, he had mentioned much earlier to look at their info doc on their comm link.

Two of the locations were near to each other but further away from their camp. From what the group could tell, the journey could prove to be problem as it meant that they had to navigate through a mountain, it was also at the foot of the mountain that the road to the different locations split in two different directions. The last location however was closest but information about this spot suggested that the there might be a chance that there would be little or no water at this location due to changes to the terrain in recent years.

"How long do you think the journey to this spot and back would take?" It was a good question, pointing at the closest location, Sofi wondered if they should check this location first.

"It would probably take me two hours if all I have to do is check.." Sigu was the first to reply, it seemed like she got along better with girls. The only problem was that Sigu was part of the other group and this was not really her mission. Sergeant Coniver had made it clear that they had to finish their mission in six hours. If she decided to help the other group it could her own group at danger of failing their own mission.

The group remained silent as they could probably all figure out that the idea of working together might not be as feasible as they thought at first, still they now had an idea of where to go. What no one mentioned either was the fact that Sigu's ability boosted her speed, for everyone else the journey would take much longer. This was even more true for the difficult terrain which they would need to bypass if they chose one of the locations further out.

Originally Kayden's idea of hunting a creature near a water source seemed to be great but the possibility that there was no water at this location would eat away at the time travelling to the spot leaving little time to complete their own mission. The safest option for Clay's group was to choose the more difficult route as the chances of hunting a creature to bring back would be higher. Time was slowly passing as everyone remained undecided.

Unfamiliar with the atmosphere Clay still decided to speak up, time was not something they had a lot of. "I'm sorry to interrupt but I think our group will need to go further out as our mission is to hunt for a creature to bring back for us to eat tonight. Although I can't say this is the best option, it is the most appropriate, we can't leave it all to chance. There's just not enough time."

Looking at Clay, Kayden decided to agree for once. "He's right, we have less than six hours now to make the journey and its unsure what we will encounter at the location, we need to set off now. Sofi, your group is more than welcome to join ours or if you want to go the location that is closer that is up to you. Let's stand back for a moment and get ready, tell us what you decide in a moment."

Yet again Tigul remained silent, he was happy to listen. He felt reassured that someone would be taking the lead, his own experience of leading a team before had not ended well, the trauma of making a bad decision in his past and the deaths of team members still played heavily on his mind. He knew it was a trauma from his past that affected his personality. Maybe thats why unlike the others his ability revolved around enhancing his body using the psi energy in his body, utilising biochemical changes to his body structure to replicate that of metal.

Standing at the side Sigu nudged her brother who was standing there listening, she gave him a glance as if she was saying, 'it would be safer that way'.

The moment for the other group to decide didn't take long, in fact their group was different to Clay's in that they simply voted on every issue, there was no person who was in the 'lead'.

He wondered if the other team had thought about how they would carry the water back if they took such a long route over difficult terrain. Hesitating for a moment, he still decided to speak, "I understand that everyone wants to together but have you guys thought about if you take this location how you are going to bring the water back?"

Silence filled the air as it became obvious they hadn't thought it through. Still the first to speak was Doncaster, who seemed more confident than the rest. "It shouldn't be problem, I have a plan." Seeing his confident smile, Clay decided not to say anything more after all, it was their mission.

"Okay guys lets go, we don't have much time."
