Subtle Manipulations: Villainess Taking Over The World

Shen Luoyu didn't acknowledge Su Ruoyan's memories, not since the beginning when she first woke up and realized who she was. She ignored Su Ruoyan's parents who begged her to stop her self depressive state. She ignored everything around her and only focused on herself. Every day she cried and cried as she grieved over the life she had lost, and the future that was set in front of her.

Running away was the first thing she thought of as she spent her days locked in her room. She could run, but sooner or later the plot would find her. She knew how worlds like these worked, you can change the plot. But, you can never avoid it.

Coming to this realization Shen Luoyu did what any other in her situation would.

She cried.

She cried and cried all day, worrying Su Ruoyan's parents to death. She hated them, she hates everyone in this goddamn world. They were all characters, she-she was real! She was a real-life person. She didn't deserve this! What did she ever do to deserve this?

Shen Luoyu let her anger take over and she broke countless items in Su Ruoyan's room. The pillows and furniture had to be changed every day because of her rages. Shen Luoyu didn't want to live anymore.

She wanted to die.

Finding no sharp enough object to killing herself with, Shen Luoyu opted to starve herself. She endured without food for 3 days and nights ignoring the painful cries and begging of her parents and the doctors she waited for the salvation of death. In death, she could escape this world, in death, Su Ruoyan's future would have nothing to do with her. Her parents had begged her to eat something but she vomited anything that was forced in her mouth. The doctors tried giving her sedatives in order to hook her up to an IV drip but she fought back injuring herself in the process, causing her parents to stop the doctor. With no other way, her parents could only try and coax her to put on the IV drip. Shen Luoyu laid on her bed ignoring the sounds of their pleas.

"You will not be able to reincarnate after death."

Shen Luoyu was in a daze as she heard the voice. Thinking it was just some illusion due to her self starvation she ignored it.

"If you die before completing my wish you won't reincarnate ever again. You won't be able to see your family either."

With no strength to talk with her lips, Shen Luoyu could only question in her mind.

'What?'

"I'm saying that if you don't complete my wish you will never see your family again."

'Y-you are Su Ruoyan.' She stated her words like a concrete fact. The person speaking to her was definitely Su Ruoyan.

"Yes, I am." Su Ruoyan answered.

'You f.u.c.k.i.n.g bitch.' She cursed at the woman who put her in this situation, anger rose in her c.h.e.s.t as she wished she could strangle Su Ruoyan. Shen Luoyu did not have enough energy in her body to curse at Su Ruoyan anymore than that.

Su Ruoyan didn't sound perturbed at her insult and continued on, "I did not want this either. I don't have much time with you since my spirit energy is already dissipating, so I will make this quick. I wished for a second chance at the time of my death, and I got you."

"You said...I won't get to see my family again if I die now?" The pain in her c.h.e.s.t at not being able to see her family made Shen Luoyu forget all about her anger towards Su Ruoyan. She knew she wasn't lying, after all these types of situations happened in many of the novels she read, it wasn't out of the question. If she didn't listen her soul truly would never be able to reincarnate.

"Yes."

Shen Luoyu didn't say anything for a very long time. Su Ruoyan stayed silent awaiting her words.

"What are your wishes." Shen Luoyu finally answered.

"Since you took so long to answer I will not be saying them in full detail. I wish for Mu Fen Xie to suffer until the end of his days, I wish him to feel the worst possible pain in the world. I wish for Chun Lian to suffer for what she did to me, and I wish for you to protect my family."

Su Ruoyan's words held such deep resentment that it cause Shen Luoyu to feel shocked. It made sense for Su Ruoyan to hate Mu Fen Xiu to the depths of her bones, but the deep utter hatred in Su Ruoyan's voice caused Shen Luoyu to feel strangely cold.

Shen Luoyu didn't ask for any more details from Su Ruoyan, "Anything else?"

"N-Wait….one more thing." Su Ruoyan paused, "Zhao Yun….can you please take care of him for me? Love him and spend the rest of your days with him for me. He had always loved me much more than I deserved."

Ah...Shen Luoyu paused at the name. Mu Zhao Yun...the half-brother of Mu Fan Xie. He was actually the illegitimate child of Mu Wen with his childhood love, so Mu Wen had always favored him more than Mu Fan Xie. Mrs. Mu or Wu Qianli realized this and purposefully stunted Mu Zhao Yun's talent, causing him to feel constantly inferior to his brother. Since Mu Wan was so busy with taking care of the company he never knew that his second son was being treated in such a way by his wife. Mu Zhao Yun would later fall in love with Su Ruoyan when she first complimented him on his violin playing, saying it was better than Mu Fan Xie's.

When he discovered her engagement with Mu Fan Xie thinking she deserved better he did not say anything, only helping her in the background. In actuality, Su Ruoyan knew long ago that Mu Zhao Yun loved her it was just that she loved Mu Fan Xie too much to care. When Su Ruoyan tried to drug Chun Lian with an aphrodisiac and was tricked into drugging herself she slept with Mu Zhao Yun and got herself pregnant. Not bearing to kill her child Su Ruoyan kept it, telling Mu Zhao Yun that she will give up Mu Fan Xie so they can be together. But, knowing the child would get in the way of Mu Fan Xie inheriting, as Mu Wan favored Mu Zhao Yun so much, Wu Qianli fed Su Ruoyan pills that caused her to have a miscarriage. This caused Su Ruoyan to seek revenge for her child, thus killing herself in the process.

In the end, after her sad death, Mu Zhao Yun went crazy and plotted to kill his brother and step-mother. But, he didn't succeed and thus lost everything, he was then framed for embezzlement of company funds and murder causing him to be put in jail for the rest of his life. He later committed suicide while in jail.

Hearing Su Ruoyan's wish, Shen Luoyu realized that Su Ruoyan wanted to make up to Mu Zhao Yun in this life.

"Okay then. Su Ruoyan...I agree to your terms." Shen Luoyu had expected Su Ruoyan to have more wishes, but those four wishes she did have were not easy to complete.

"Thank you...thank you Shen Luoyu. From now on live my life...no longer are you Shen Luoyu, you are now Su Ruoyan. You mustn't dwell on the past for too long, or sooner or later the past will be all that you see." With those parting words, Su Ruoyan disappeared from her mind like she was never there.

'Shen Luoyu', Shem Luoyu thought back to what Su Ruoyan said.

'It seems like in this world, only you know my name Su Ruoyan.'

Shen Luoyu would awaken from her stupor and agree on taking the IV drip shocking her parents. Though much will change in the next few months for the Su household as Shen Luoyu slowly recovered from her depressive state. During those months she had also made progress with Su Ruoyan's parents, slowly opening back up once again. That dinner that she had with them seemed to set the foundation for a new start in the Su family. Since then Su Ruoyan ate dinner with Su Ruochen and Yu Xialan, which made the couple overjoyed.

She no longer cried and though she was not as cheerful and happy as before at least she was no longer crying and locking herself up all day long.

Looking through Su Ruoyan's memories she realized she would be meeting the Mu brothers on her 6th birthday, which according to Su Ruoyan's memories was 4 months away. Shen Luoyu had slowly come to realize the meaning behind Su Ruoyan's words. These past few months all she had been thinking was how to get out and how to escape this. She needed to fully accept that she can't escape this. She needed to accept that this was now her present and that she was no longer Shen Luoyu.

So as she stared into the mirror she came to a consensus.

Shen Luoyu died, she was Su Ruoyan now.

Her goal in this world?

Survive.
