"Captain, which target we're going for?" one of the ten men following Ah-Er asked as they rode their horse closer to the two Rampart Formations in the middle. There was a scar extending from the left side of his eyebrow all the way until his chin.

"Scarface Loong, don't be impatient. Did you forget our lady's teaching? Always go for the highest value targets." Ah-Er replied. He's still calculating the value between Qin Lan, Qin Chan, and Lu Qing Yun.

He was torn in between the three targets as everyone seems valuable in his opinion.

'Who should I go for?' Ah-Er asked himself as his team approaching the last stretch where changing their direction is no longer possible.

'Hmm... Taking down the first-level Bone Restructuring Layer Cultivator will take some time... Let's take down the whip user before we slay the middle target. We'll place the Bone Layer cultivator last on our list!" Ah-Er ordered.

The team of eleven men quickly adjusted their direction toward Lu Qing Yun.

'A detachment force? Did the commander of this army read my intention in this battle?' Qin Lan stares at the eleven soldiers heading towards Lu Qing Yun.

"You Qing, Han Xue, you'll be leading the attack here. Keep building the momentum until I've returned." Qin Lan ordered. A hint of Spiritual Energy is injected into the Purple-Dragon Spatial Jade as he headed to where Lu Qing Yun was.

"Do not falter! Move forward!" Lu Qing Yun ordered. Another life belonged to an eighth-level Flesh Refining cultivator were taken by her as she finished her sentence.

"Understood!" the soldiers under Lu Qing Yun's command replied as they push forward. But their momentum didn't last long. Barely moving forward by ten or so steps, eleven spears belonged to their enemies came and reaped their lives.

"Don't let her take the Precelestial Essence!" one of the ten followers of Ah-Er noticed what she had in her hand and quickly intercepted. But he was a second too late. The drop of Spiritual Energy replenishing treasure had entered Lu Qing Yun's mouth by the time his horse moves a step forward.

"Qing Yun!!!" Lu Yi shouts as he approached them. The Thousand Miles Travel in a Step technique makes him look like he was coming in their direction by using the soldier's head like a stepping stone.

"Golden Bell... Whoa!" two spear attacks came at him from a different angle as he tries to execute his martial technique.

"Do you take the ten of us as mere decoration?" two of Ah-Er's followers turned their attention to Lu Yi as they tried to stop him from interrupting their hunt.

"Little girl... Be obedient, and let us finish you quickly. This way, you will suffer less pain from getting cut all over before you die..." Ah-Er said.

And in reply to his taunting, Lu Qing Yun sent a lash of her whip over. The swift attack was surprisingly fueled with the energy of a peak Flesh Refining Layer.

Ah-Er defended against the attack. But this time, he was the one that retreated for about ten steps.

"What??? Even this guy's weapon is a Precelestial Heaven's Grade!" Ah-Er's follower cried as the spear in his hand was robbed from his hand due to the numbing sensation from Lu Yi's brutish force.

"Stop! No!" the soldier panicked.

"Urgh!" choosing not to listen to his words further, Lu Yi stabbed his Copper Xuan Sword straight into his opponent's chest. This change of event surprised Ah-Er and the other followers as they never thought that one of them would be the first to die in this battle.

"Oh, shit!" the soldier that had a concussion from getting punched by Lu Yi now finally realized what kind of monster he was fighting against.
