Before we start, I would like to thank my loyal readers that have been with the previous version of (Supreme Emperor of Mist) until the latest chapter 251. I am very sorry that after giving it a few tries, I still find it challenging to edit the book with so many mistakes and plotholes here and there.

I've tried rewriting the story again and edit by chapter. But the more I did, the further it went away from the concept I was trying to bring out from this book. Qin Lan was a fascinating character for me. Still, my inexperience in writing made him less attractive than what I tried to bring out.

Additionally, because this was my first book, I find it challenging to forcefully create a female lead to fit his antic. Hu Jia was the exact copy of my wife. Zhou Mei came from a girl I've been interested in since high school. As for the two young lasses, Zhuge Xinyu and Yanyu, they're what I hope my two princesses would be.

But I find it challenging to recreate the same thing from so many characteristics. This was a challenge.

Then, negative comments came over. The book was getting quite a bad review and comment from many readers. Some were constructive, but the bad ones wore me out quite a lot because I find it difficult to refute, logic, and reply.

I am thankful for the positive and writing mistakes pointed out by my readers/editors. However, there's still much to go before producing something like the level of Martial Universe, Soul Land, Peerless Martial God, A Will Eternal, and Heavenly Jewel Exchange.

This is why I'll be crediting people that supported me in my earlier chapters.

Alright, with all the thank you and sorry speech done, let's get back to our main topic.

In the next chapter, I'll remake the Supreme Emperor of Mist all over again. The storyline will be slightly different this time, but it will be Qin Lan, without family matter. The storyline will undoubtedly get some connection with where I stop, but there'll be some plothole here and there until I get it covered with words.

I might or might not come up with a system. The latter's possibility is much higher, as the earlier version has none of it. But since I mentioned that my writing was inspired by the translated novels above, having a treasure is likely possible.

We'll continue to have a harem, but marriage with Hu Jia might not continue until later chapters. I will also consider writing the romance part as I aim to make it much better this time.

The cultivation part will also go through some qualitative change. The previous cultivation concept was interesting, but I'm not at the level to execute it adequately for now. So instead of making it too deep, I plan to make it more straightforward and easier to understand.

As far as I know, my readers also prefer the concept in the Treasure Masters and the Eight Department's concept. But for this rewrite, I will make it much easier so more of them can be slowly included in the story without skipping too much.

Of course, I won't make it too deep, too many levels, and too many stages to keep it stay with my ability as I write. If you found somewhere with a glaring mistake, please let me know before the error gets worse.

Ah!

Yes, Zhang Qin Feng will keep using the eight transformations treasured brush. But it will be eight weapons instead of one this time because of my inexperience in writing.

So far, I understand that part of the story didn't describe adequately. There are also many plotholes appearing due to the difference in my commonsense as English wasn't my first language. And with Grammarly premium helping me now, I hope I can make better chapters from now on.

Please let me know if you're expecting it too, as I wanted to know how my readers will look forward to this. All kinds of comments are welcomed because I want to make something people like to read, not what I assume would be good enough.

Except for the few earlier chapters until the end of September, I will be starting a privilege for 200 coins with 10chapters in advance + a 99% discount. Although it still costs my readers some money to read them, I hope it will compensate my earlier readers. I'm sorry for turning tail, delaying the updates, giving up, going into hiatus, and so on.

Since I no longer have to follow the MGS requirement to keep updating, the stability might not be consistent as my few other books. Still, I can promise that the flow of the story will get much better.
