"Psst... Should we let the benefactor know that we're still breathing?" a gentle whisper can be heard from the gap where the two cultivators were standing a while ago.

"No..." another whisper replied from about a few inches away.

"Stop talking. If the Yao Soldier knew that we're still alive, then we'll create more problems for our benefactor," he added. Two of them are indeed lucky to miraculously escape from wounds and injuries after getting buried under the rubbles.

The decisive battle finally started after both sides had steeled their mind to end this battle.

Qin Lan appeared to be dwarfed by the ridiculously long spear in his hand as he swings his weapon around.

"Zinggg..." a vibration is created as Qin Lan's spear danced in between them. Without a sign or whatsoever, both sides made their move and attacked.

"Roar!" the claw that was waiting to be fed with blood came from Qin Lan's left side fiercely. The eighth-level strength was akin to a mountain is used as a replacement for a hammer.

But Qin Lan wasn't a weakling either. Using the essence of his Mistral Mirage Steps, he dodged the attack naturally like a gust of wind. In the meantime, Qin Lan did not forget to retaliate by lightly swinging the Pillar of Kuangshan at the Raging Beast Soldier's wrist.

"Rip!!!" a deep cut appeared on the back of the Raging Beast Soldier's wrist, but it was a mere superficial wound.

"Is that... All... You can... Do?" the Raging Beast Soldier commented as it was disappointed by the false alarm in its mind. Qin Lan's first attack is not comparable to the few attack he made when using his sword.

"ROAR!" the Yao Soldier quickly fired a bolt of lightning at Qin Lan before changing its position again. This made the battle getting trickier as time passed.

"I have to quickly come out with a way to defeat this beast before it managed to grow further..." Qin Lan narrowed his eyebrows while trying to think of a way to end this battle sooner.

"Brother... With benefactor's martial skills, how come it seems so difficult for him to defeat the Yao Soldier?" one of the cultivators asked. Although they're buried under the rubbles, it did not block their view from witnessing the exciting battle.

"Fighting a Yao Soldier is different from a Yao Beast. Always remember that a Yao Beast is a beast from head to tail. They often rely on their animal instinct when hunting. But fighting against a Yao Soldier is different."

"Because a Yao Soldier has its own consciousness, it is capable of thinking and adapting, allowing it to learn like us. This trait itself made the Yao Soldier threatening to human cultivators like us," he added.

"Then... Shall we help the benefactor?" the first cultivator asked.

"No... We can try to stop the Yao Soldier when it comes to life and death, but not when they're still fighting equally. Let's continue to hide and see how the battle goes."

"Zing! Zing! Zing!" three superficial wounds are imprinted on the Raging Beast Soldier as Qin Lan continues with his pointless effort to cut through the Yao Soldier's defense.

As for his opponent, it seems to be getting fiercer as the battle continues.

"Human... You will... Lose... Soon."  the Raging Beast Soldier continues to taunt Qin Lan like before as the wound created from Qin Lan's Qiankun Golden Sword is about to heal completely.

"Roar!" once again, the Yao Soldier spit a bolt of lightning to disturb Qin Lan. But this time, it was accompanied by an attack from its tail as well.

"Oh no!" the two cultivators watching their battle from afar noticed the double attack launched by the Raging Beast Soldier.

But none of them managed to caught Qin Lan's expression the moment the Raging Beast Soldier attacked. The edge of his lips curved slightly when the Yao Soldier made its signature move.

It was too late for the Raging Beast Soldier to react when it finally noticed the mistake behind this repetitive attack.

"One Spear Thrusting Through the Mountain." It was one of Qin Lan's signature move in his first reincarnation before the Kuangshan Lu Sect is established.

An arm that belonged to the Raging Beast Soldier is amputated from its main body after a spear made of silver light went through it like cutting off the fruit in half.

"ROAR!" the pain that came aftermath caused the Raging Beast Soldier to screamed like a beast uncontrollably. Not a single word from the human tongue exist in its mind right now as it was clouded by the intense pain.

The Yao Soldier lost itself into rage completely as the pain continues to torment it. All the sanity and trickery it displayed earlier vanished like a stain is washed away from a piece of clothing.

Not even a single word is muttered as the Raging Beast Soldier as its attack and attacked without bothering about its stamina.

"I'm lucky that its consciousness is recently developed. If I allowed it to adapt a little longer, who knows what kind of thing it will learn to survive in this world?" Qin Lan remained on a defensive stance as the Raging Beast Soldier attacked him from all over the place.

Although the missing of a limb has reduced its speed significantly, the Raging Beast Soldier is still considered dangerous.

"Shua!" taking advantage of its random movement, Qin Lan managed to leave a few more cuts on the Raging Beast Soldier.

More blood is pouring out from the Raging Beast Soldier's wound as it seems to be at the end of its struggle.

"Bzzt... Bzzt..." suddenly, a lightning spark that was charging in between of the Raging Beast Soldier's horn attracted Qin Lan and the two cultivator's attention.

Unexpectedly to all of them, the Yao Soldier actually managed to get out from its rage before Qin Lan managed to end the battle. 

"Thunderous Blast!" the lightning spark between the horns grew at least ten times bigger as it lunged at Qin Lan. The blood on its body no longer pouring out as all its life force was concentrated into turning this attack deadlier with every second it took.

"Benefactor, be careful!" one of the two cultivators failed to control his nervousness as he finally exposed himself before the two clashed.

The corner of Qin Lan's lips curved upward slightly as he smiled for his second time.

"Beautifully interrupted," he whispered.

The battle has been decided when the Raging Beast Soldier slightly turns its attention away from Qin Lan for a quick peek.

"One Spear Ruling the World!" this time, an even thicker spear of silver light went forth and pierced through the Raging Beast Soldier's skull.
