Leaving the house, they head towards the location Jennifer recorded from the Second-Level Undead's thoughts.

They jumped and dashed through the roofs of the residential housings.

"Here was where they fought." (Jen)

The location was just three minutes away from their departure point.

Looking at his iPhone, Zack estimated that it was roughly three kilometers away from where they found the abnormal horde and the zombie-commander.

Jennifer pointed out the exact scenery that she saw. She described to Chai and Zack the buildings and landscape details.

They were currently standing nearby a building.

The 'battleground' was littered with bullet shells and dead bodies.

The metallic signboard reads 'Royal Malaysian Air Force Main Building, Suburb Branch'.

"Daaamn somebody must've collected tons of points here brah." (Chai)

The building's fortified defenses were breached open.

{Come in, Team Venus.} (Zack)

"…"

He tried to establish a connection with them via radio.

{Clark here, Te-} *zzz bzt!*

"Finally yours too, eh bro? Da*n it, we should've brought a powerbank next time." (Chai)

Chai's radio earbud ran out of battery a few hours before.

The trio did not sense any zombie activities in a 300-meters radius.

Because all of them were lying down on the ground, frozen and dead.

'Bullet holes in most of the zombies' heads. Must've been Mel.' (Zack)

He quickly analyzed the aftermath of the battle.

"Guys, search out for any weapons that you can find. Let's meet back here in fifteen minutes." (Zack)

While Chai and Jen searched around the perimeter, Zack investigated further.

'The zombie wave came from two directions. Left and right.'

'Let's see…these arrows…yes, they're ours!'

Zack dislodged a black crossbow bolt from a dead zombie's head.

'Let's see if I can find her sniping point.'

Observing the location of dead bodies which had crossbow bolts stuck in its head, the degree of the arrows on the ground and where the tail of the arrows were pointing, he quickly deduced her location.

After just five minutes, Jen and Chai came back with all sorts of weapons.

"You sure you could sniff them out, bro?" (Chai)

"Yeap. I'm lovin' the bonuses I get from [Kryptonian Physique] and [Super Senses]." (Zack)

With an enhanced Kryptonian brain, his memory and analytical skills rose exponentially.

Comparing to a bloodhound which excels in tracking, he is far superior than it in isolating the scent and finding the trails.

After sniffing out an approximately sixty-seven number of weapons, none of them has Melissa's, Annie's or Joy's smell!

'The crossbow that the 'Second-Level' acquired still had my smell. But why aren't the other zombie slaves carrying any of our team's weapons?' (Zack)

"Let's check out the building. Mel was shooting these arrows from up there." (Zack)

He pointed towards the First building's Third Floor.

Being physically stronger than before, jumping to a Third Floor's height was a very achievable feat for them.

"W-What.." (Jen)

She gasped by the sight of corpses piled up all over the place.

Dark bullet holes and charred debris indicated that the zombies swarmed this floor, and the people here used rounds upon rounds of ammunition to defend themselves.

The Third Floor of the First Building did not have many windows.

Each office on the Third Floor were separated by brick walls and labeled according to their own respective departments.

The corner-most office, which Zack pinpointed Melissa's sniping point overlooking the battleground, was particularly filled with heaps of bodies.

The window that was half-opened in the office had bullet shells on the floor.

On the adjacent wall of the office, the windows were broken.

'They escaped through here.'

Looking down through the broken window, he saw ropes on the Ground Floor.

"Chai, Jen, we're almost there. They left something right on the bottom." (Zack)

Pointing down to the ground, Chai and Jennifer stretched their heads out the window.

"I don't see nothin'." (Chai)

Chai saw nothing but dead bodies who's had their heads splattered and limbs broken.

"The ropes, right? Great, now we can track them!" (Jen)

"Hey! How did you know?" (Chai)

With a grin, Jennifer said: "Chai, you do know that my [Telepathy] is Level Two, right?"

Chai gulped for a second.

The three of them jumped down to the ground below.

Zack picked up the rope and start tracking Melissa's, Annie's and Joy's whereabouts.

***

"They're back!"

Two silhouettes were seen from her binoculars.

They were fast approaching an aluminum-framed door with black tint on its glass middle.

Pulling the cold, silver door handle, the sight of a gorgeous-looking blonde woman greeted them.

"Did it work?" (Annie)

"These are all that we could get."

A middle-height, fit man wearing a white and blue camo print combat uniform handed her a black military rucksack.

Annie the man had fewer firearms and equipment than he originally had.

"Thank you, Captain Nassah." (Annie)

She sincerely thanks the tanned-skin, oval-shaped face man.

"They drove a hard bargain. If only we had more items to trade!!" (Captain Nassah)

His eye-bagged, tired eyes quivered. He wrinkled his water-guava shaped nose in frustration.

"Sir, time is of the essence. If we scourged for more items to trade or waste time to negotiate with those blood-s.u.c.k.i.n.g hoodlums, Young Miss' condition would worsen."

A man in his late 20s, his full lips uttered words of console and reason.

"I'll bring these to Mom!" (Annie)

She locked the door and covered back the blinders and curtains on the windows.

Hurriedly entering a porcelain-colored room, she saw a similar-looking Australian woman who resembled her, albeit a little more m.a.t.u.r.ed.

Joy who was tending to a sleeping Melissa got up from her chair.

Opening up the military rucksack, she took out everything inside.

Antibiotics, antiseptics, syringes, IV tubes, saline bags, and more medical items were taken out and spread out on a glass table.

"Thank Captain Nassah and Lieutenant Johan for me. I'll need to re-dress her wounds." (Joy)

With a smile full of gratitude on her weary face, she hurriedly starts re-treating Melissa.

"Does Ms.Joy need anything else? We'll do our best to retrieve more of them!" (Captain Nassah)

"Mom didn't tell me anything except thank you, guys. Ah, are you guys hungry? I'll bring out something to eat!" (Annie)

"Please, Ms.Annie. It's our utmost priority to protect Young Miss Melissa. She did save our lives, after all." (Lieutenant Johan)

On top of her status as a General's daughter, her amazing marksmanship led to these two men's appreciation.

During the zombie siege, Melissa displayed incredible sniping skills and the battle's favor was tilting towards the Air Force Main Building Shelter's.

'But who knew that something capable of controlling zombies appeared.' (Annie)

Reliving the horrendous and critical scenes when the horde specifically raided the building, heading towards their exact location.

As the most powerful [ENHANCED] in the whole base, she made sure that many of the Airmen and other civilians escaped.

'If-if only I didn't panic and-!'

Hot tears came down dripping her bluish-iridescent eyes.

KLACK-KLANGG!

A make-shift sentry alarm that they've installed around the perimeter ranged!

"Something's coming!" (Lieutenant Johan)

The fair-skinned man with a 5'o clock shadow-beard quickly alarmed everyone in the brightly-lit room.

Following the scents of their three teammates, they sped up towards the northwest direction.

"Jen, anything around us? There's nothing on my side." (Zack)

"Clear so far." (Jen)

There were no signs of people or undead around them, except the tweeting of birds and chirps of crickets, they continued ahead.

"Bro, you think they'd know that it's us?" (Chai)
