Chapter 34 - 35 and 36 (Back to safe zone/pestoid pov) (18+)

Notice to All, System redeem survivors as non-contributing, there are penalties like example reviving requirement revert back to normal (instead of using the bronze coins, revive coin are used for reviving), increase taxes of sales of the items and etc

Everyone is happy that finally the rewards are given to them by the system. As even the lowest contribution survivors can easily get a list of the following items, an hp and mp regen badge, a purple potion, 2 meal tickets, a pair of grass gloves and a few coins depend on how many zombies or monsters that they have killed.

As the result of those system rewards which makes the brave survivors normally to get the most loots and rewards as they tend to kill the most, while the cowards generally get the minimum loot and reward. Of course, the cowards are unhappy of what they received from the system. Thus they try to use trade, favours, loans and etc to get what they want. Which is same like the market, where there are people who make the demand and there are some who make the supply.

Staying in the safe zone without hunting/patrolling is now theory possible with more people in the safe zone, which also have bigger demands for resources and supplies. There are a few ways that survivors can now do to earn money without constantly hunting outside the safe zone. There are a few examples or ways. One of it is to be a cook which can create new dishes through the mixing of different RTE and food from the vending machine, another of it will be prostitution, nothing more needed to be said for this type of services and the last but not least it is trade which through selling and buying goods like soap, furniture, foods and etc, Survivors can get items/equipment that they do not need or want. In summary, People will think to do more services that current vending machine is lacking in order to survive the safe zone besides hunting.

I and my wives along with the babies go back to our room to sleep, Babies are sometimes a bit annoying as they keep wake up for no reason, it is hard to manage them with my wives alone.

Getting too tired after fighting the battle, I go to sleep after taking a bath...

Scene cut to another side

Man, working SLS is good, good money as we are just doing the trash throwing job, we even have our own apartments shared near to it is the trashed apartment where we work in but way bigger than what normal SLS people live in their small apartment. Every week morning we come early in the morning to sweep the floors in the building, sometimes we meet people, we just greet them with a smile after that we rest, then we take out the trash from each and every building after that area cleaning and sorting of the trash at the trashed apartment then spray pesticides to get rid of the insects, at night we rest at our apartment talking to our family and etc through our phone, Once in a while people walk past in the corridors while we are relaxing during our break, they often look down on us like we are just some kind of rats or c.o.c.kroaches. We don't mind because once we leave as we are working there in SLS for a living and a living for my families.

After the update, people will be respawning in our trash apartment, at first we thought it is funny, as there is the place where previously trash gathered, but now it is people who have gathered, as more people mysteriously appear out of nowhere. Through their screaming and shouting, they attracted the nearby zombies like files on the raw meat. It is time to defend ourselves against the attack. We tried to block the zombies with the trash where they are everywhere. We use our new weapons to defend, some helped but those spoiled pussies just can't stop crying. We start to shove those who are trying to make problems for us to the zombies, Once the noisy ones are dead and have become food for the zombies. The rats start to appear, one by one then those rats come waves after waves.

So as the survivors along with some insects, as most of them are hard to manage so forcing them out is a good idea as there is no space in the apartment already.

After a long battle, many died and respawn then died again. Some died and there is no more revive coins to support them, they simply exploded then items they obtained are all dropped on the floor for other for the picking. Due to this, someone has to try RTE and prove that it is just food, then one of them do not eat properly as the pieces of food drop on the floor, it attracts pests to take them. Therefore the idea of baiting them to attack the difficult zombies slowly develops. At the same time, using women who do not contribute on defending against the endless horde of zombies as rewards will increase more brave people to defend the apartment, as they are most of them are useless and cowards except for the thirst of making babies and s.e.x will motivate them, whereas for others, they are forced to finish up all the tutorial quest and other quests getting coins and supplies from the fallen survivors(they have no revive coins to revive) are left to fight the zombies, only the strong will have more of the speaking power, the weak have no power and often used to boost the strong. Thus making the strong stronger, while the weak gets more weaker.

After defending against the zombies, there is a new notice that popped up on our head, which there is a safe area (reduce detection only) for 150 coins. We decided to pool in all the money from kills and bought the safe area for the trashed apartment. We decided that people are charged to stay into rest at the safe area 5 bronze coins for an hour of rest, women for s.e.x are free of charge. Also stop the system from clearing anything, as pests are like free experience points for those who stay in. A lot of women have been going to safe area to "offer their services" to the brave and the heroic, some of them who are not doing anything, some of them are task to make equipment out of trash when they are not servicing any men, even though the items and equipment is not as good as the original ones but at least it provides the function of what it purpose to do. Trash like used or broken furniture like chairs can be made into weapons or armour for the others to use, a lot of self-made weapons are made to defend against the continuous of spawning of c.o.c.kroaches as most of the trash is food waste, which attracts a lot of them. Farming them for materials are safer than zombies outside. Making throwing food waste to lure pest to attack zombies is a way of making killing zombies an easier compared to the normal use of the weapon.

Overview of our apartment is a few specials zombies like hunks and d.i.c.kers and some random less threating zombies and a lot of normal zombies, some women cannot afford to offer their services or they prefer to fight for themselves, choose to fight with the men, in the end, some service them for some other stuff, some become leaders of the party. Rat skin armour is made by so-called craftsman combine with a series of fusion proof to give more protection than the normal clothes the best part is it can improve stats if it is worn over a period of time but sadly zombies drop materials are too little to make into an armour set. Armour set which we called it a nickname as the suit, which there are shop that is set up in the safe area for sale of those suit.

There are following sets of clothes that they made:

Rat skin armour set (20 coins)

4 defence +65% attack and movement speed 30% reduce the effect of a poison

Effect Genes imbue(wearing it your genes will slowly improve)+1 dex per hour max stats can be added in this way is +30)

Lizard skin armour set (70 coins)

6 defence +20% attack and movement speed 30% reduce the 5 incoming damage

Effect Genes imbue(wearing it your genes will slowly improve)+1 luck per hour max stats can be added in this way is +30)

Housefly armour set (60 coins)

3 defence +20% attack and movement speed 50% reduce the 3 incoming damage and 20% more to evade incoming attacks

Effect Genes imbue(wearing it your genes will slowly improve)+1 luck per 1-hour max stats can be added in this way is +30)

C.o.c.kroach shell armour set (18 coins)

8 defence -20% attack and movement speed 80% reduce the 3 incoming damage

Lizard set armour is more expensive as it is really hard to find lizards, for housefly case, it is lack of materials, some of the people show that they have guts to kill through and survive the waves are given one of those armours, normally a set to us is just top and bottom, the hats and shoes they have to buy it separately.

One of us who is a leader, he starts to lead us by exploding the cars to kill horde of zombies and unwanted large pests cause by using the food waste to attract them and a list of stuff he does to contribute as a leader. He is given a custom-made armour which is

From hat to shoes, crafted by all the best pest parts, from the hat, it has a c.o.c.kroach shell plus housefly multi-eye helmet as the top and bottom as well as the shoes are a combination of lizard and rat skins as well as c.o.c.kroach skill for armour

He is allowed to have the 3 women for their services, he does it to 5 of them anyway no one can disaggree with that, the strange happens to start to happen as the owners of the armour set start to talk to the enemies(pests) which is impossible to think about, most of them give or trade other the armour after they have their 30 stats boost the thing is after they have max stat boost they look at like pest that they worn as like an example a guy wear rat suit after max stats boost, he will look like a rat and he will have furs all over his body and he enable to talk to rats, of course, a few of the people do not like this stuffs but in order to get stronger most people wear and trade for more stats boost plus the ability to reduce pest threats and chance of turning them into allies looks appealing, the hostile waves gets less and less due to owners talking to the pests and sharing their food with their "pest" rarely a few can use them for battle. As the armour production increase most of us can afford to wear in those armour for protection and its strengthing effects, The suits feel good by wearing it despite the ugly but cool looking well it is disgusting to think what are materials used to make those suit, some of the owners pool into setting up a rental service in the safe area to boost people stats and earn some money from it. Zombies are killed quicker as more of us getting stronger and pest threats are reduced as more of us can use them in the battle, we are getting better as more and better suits which are planning to be craft by our craftsmen later on. As a result of what we will be stronger in the future as our appearance might change to suit what the new world is going to be like. Due to some unknown reason, women start to lay eggs a while after their services, it feels kind of odd but notices to come and reward is coming like water as more and more babies are born from eggs so no one actually really bothers as more rations coming in as more eggs hatch in small creatures.

Everyone generally doesn't notice changes happening in their bodies as they are busy having s.e.x to get the feel of getting it high and are too busy fighting zombies and gathering of food supplies for the young. Slowly but steadily women that provide body services become better than their services and start laying of eggs after a while of services, more are getting the jobs called Boardmothers, lair mothers and etc

Scene cut

The loud crying sound of the baby has woken me up as I look through the window, I see a being who is covered with fur who is playing with a flute. Around him, there are mice gathering around my safe zone. Out of fear, I quickly buy the safe area microwaves for 5 silver coins which do a light constant light damage to our enemies for certain area covering the safe zone for self-defence, in this case, the pests and improve the power supply to a mini power plant for 1silver coin (2), just as we manage to get a breather, hordes of houseflies, lizards, c.o.c.kroaches flying and rats "discharge" from the trashed apartment, some come from other blocks of buildings, some come from the drains. Like it is some B rating horrible movies, that an insane amounts of reinforcement that they can come up with, I am pretty disgusted as I see endless of pests swarming toward me, I wish I can run away from all these creatures but think of my wives and kids I decide to fight back with all my power that is. Even through worst has not come yet. As pestiods come with the pest to waves of like I know how to explain this shit. In summary, odds are against us, have to find ways to overcome hordes of endless pests or we could die for it
