Tales Of The Necromancer: Ling Tian

Ling Tian walked out of the auction house with a smile as his artifacts were sold.

But then, he suddenly remembered,

'Didn't I got a hundred thousand platinum coins?! My gosh! I'm so stupid for forgetting that! But it's okay as I will get more money if I sell my artifacts.'

Ling Tian found a guard again and thought,

'What the hell? Why are guards here scattered like ants?! Every time I go to a street there's at least 3 of them in there! Well, I guess that's why Azure Dragon City is the strongest city as took strong measures at protecting the city like their own lives.' He thought.

Ling Tian called the guard and said,

"Guard! You! Yes, you! Can you help me find a good inn."

The guard pointed at that direction and told him,

"Go in that direction and go to the left, after 3 blocks, go to the right and there you will find Nightingale Inn which is said to be of the best of the best." the guard told him.

Ling Tian cupped his hands and thanked him,

"Thanks!"

He then walked towards the direction where the guard pointed nonchalantly. As if nothing happened or he didn't care what happened.

After a few minutes of walking, he found a shady-looking inn. It was very dark so It was very hard to see the very structure of the inn but it was possible to see the sign of the inn. It was as if it was glowing using magic.

He walked straight into the inn and opened the door and what greeted him were sounds of laughing and drinking. It seems that people were having fun and almost all of them are drunk...

He didn't mind the behavior of those goons and walked straight into the counter as he really wanted to sleep now as he was so tired.

The guy at the counter who was staring into his side looked at Ling Tian and greeted him,

"What can I do, sir. Perhaps you want a room or food?" said the guy at the counter warmly.

Ling Tian just tossed 1 platinum coins and said to him,

"1 year stay here and give me 3 foods daily for the morning, noon and evening."

The guy at the counter nodded dumbly and said,

"1-year sir?! This platinum coin can let you stay here for 20 years as a stay and food 3 times cost 59 silver coins! Are you sure sir?"

"Yes! Now please lead me to my room." Ling Tian told the guy in the counter.

The guy at the counter left the counter and walked to the stairs and gestured for Ling Tian to come and follow him in the stairs.

After walking about a few seconds, they arrived on the second floor. Oddly, there was a shelve in the corner...

The guy went in front of the shelve and pushed it. And what greeted both Ling Tian and the guy was...
