Tales Of The Necromancer: Ling Tian

As he closed in the distance between the guards and him, the guards started to notice him and they took on a stance and revealed murderous intent. They would kill all people who neared the gates without permission! The eight guards revealed an aura of elites who have gone to many wars.

One of the guards tried to get information on who Ling Tian was, he shouted,

"Who are you! State your reason why you are here! Nobody is allowed to pass this gates, except for those who have permission from the higher ups! If you don't have evidence that you are invited to come in, then we will have to do it in the hard way!" The guard spoke with murderous intent. They were prepared to kill him...

Hearing this, Ling Tian frowned and thought,

'Evidence? Do I have some sort of evidence to show them? Wait, could I present them the quest paper? Maybe they will let me in and and have me speak with the one that gave the quest out.'

After thinking for a little bit of moment, Ling Tian spoke again to the guards,

"I do have evidence! But I don't think you'll still let me in! Let me speak the one who issued this quest! I want to have more information about the quest I took! Please!" shouted Ling Tian at the guards with anxiety as Ling Tian don't think they'll let him in even if he shows the quest paper as it don't have evidence, as quest papers can be easily crafted, so maybe the guards will think the quest paper is fake and beat him up.

With hesitation, Ling Tian took out the quest paper from his inventory. To make it real that the quest paper appeared from his spatial ring, he placed one of his fingers at his ring. The ring of course was an artifact, he didn't wear the Death Ring as people can certainly sense its death aura and mistake him for an evil sorcerer.

The ring's appearance was of course beautiful. Many beautiful artistic animals was carved there, making it look like the ring of a beast lord. This ring was called [Beast Lord's Ring], apparently, this was imbued with the aura of a Beast Lord, making all animals that were weaker than those at the Second Spirit Layer. But commanding beasts slowly eat the aura inside the ring, so using it many times would make it useless.

The guards batted an eye, of course who wouldn't, spatial rings are those only for rich nobles as spatial rings easily rich a hundred thousand gold, only nobles that have good backing can buy them. Spatial rings were made of diamond, and diamonds cost about ten thousand gold, so it will definitely cost much just from materials alone, let alone the spatial element inside it.

Ling Tian handed the quest paper with hesitation, of course, the guards took it with caution as they don't know whether there will be a bomb inside which could kill them quite easily as if they were papers. It was like cutting paper with a scissors.
