Chapter 73: Turning the Tide

Baghi Tea and his team were confronting the leader of Death Gate known as the 1st General, Shehneel Shodo. His nails were sharp, protruding past his fingertips slightly. He had earned the moniker of vampire general in the world of assassins. Baghi Tea ogled the enemy and asked.

"Where is my son?"

"He is with you."

Shahneel stated as he pointed towards Momi who stood near his father.

"Not this one, you bastard! My other son, Zoki. You know him very well."

Baghi Tea retorted while Shehneel Shodo squinted his eyes and scratched his chin

"Uhh, let me think. Zoki, Zoki, Zoki... Aahhhh, are you talking about him?"

The vampire general waved at his subordinates. Receiving the signal, they threw a body towards Baghi. It slammed down and rolled over, stopping at Baghi's feet. He hesitated as the cloth the body was covered with was bloodied with no sign of movement. Its size was the same as his son's, Baghi Tea bent his knees to turn the body.

"Zoookkkiiiii!!!"

Momi Tea yelled, seeing the mutilated form of his younger brother. His fingers were broken, hands swollen with the arms and legs twisted. There was a deep cut on his abdomen, blood was dripping heavily.

Hearing his brother's voice, the half dead Zoki opened his left eye as his right was black and swollen. In a faint voice, he urged his brother.

"Brother...run."

Baghi Tea ordered the Tea soldiers behind him.

"Take him away and heal him quickly! I'll wreak havoc if his breathing stops."

Right after, Razi Tea came with his people. He couldn't find any Death Gate assassins in the area he was sent to, so he was roaming around when he heard his father's cry and rushed in that direction.

"Father..."

Razi's wife fell on her knees in shock, seeing his father in that state. Zoki had two daughters. Ayesha Tea and Romana Tea who were married to his nephews Haji and Razi.

Baghi glared Shehneel, seething, before turning his eyes towards his family.

"Razi, Momi, kill those minions behind while the rest can heal Zoki."

The father and son wielded their spears and the soldiers started healing Zoki. Romana started stitching the abdomen as her sobs were getting louder.

Shehneel giggled.

"Hehehe, my friend Baghi. Are you forgetting that I am one realm higher than you? You may have potent poison skill, alas, it's a pity that you won't even get a chance to use them."

Furious, Baghi tightened his grip on his spear and unleashed his cosmic powers while Shehneel's eyes widened.

"You broke through to the Star Prince realm!?"

Baghi simply dashed, not bothering to reply, as Razi and Momi followed his lead. In response, Shehneel opened his Star Dwelling quickly as well.

Five gates of dwelling opened and five beasts came out, Death Gate minions also called out their beasts. At the same time, the dwelling of Baghi opened as well and six beasts emerged including his dragon. Momi, Razi and the other soldiers coordinated their healing and ordered their beasts to help Earl Baghi.

Daan Godlyn was standing tall with his awakened armour, waving his whip around like a tail and flapping his dragon wings. Waheed Lund was so awed by these transformations that he even began clapping.

"That's amazing, what nice armour! Let me show you mine."

The spatial ring on his finger glittered and a bronze armour covered his entire body, leaving only his head uncovered. His height increased from 2.43 meters to 2.81 meters. Nevertheless, he tsked in dissatisfaction after comparing their armours.

"My armour didn't give my height as big of a boost as yours did."

Daan growled as he released Rampage Gorilla from his dwelling.

He beat his chest with both hands. Currently, Daan, Sacra and Sohrab only had a single beast in their dwelling. They had canceled their other contracts in the inner world of Akash's Chaos Dwelling. They were in their death beds and had no reason for having beasts.

The 4th general raised his eyebrows and unleashed his own four beasts who raised their heads. The strongest of them, a golem, was at the 10th Star realm while the others were weaker.

"Can you handle these four?"

Daan asked his beast.

"With one hand."

Rampage Gorilla confidently replied.

Zaheer Seth was in a frenzied as he rushed at a terrifying speed. Both he and his opponent were at the 3rd Moon of the Star General realm. His enemy, Juro, was using two daggers to fight and block the former's attack. The other soldiers were attacking the followers of Juro.

He went back and called out his pets before 6 portals opened and 6 beasts stepped forward. One of them was a 26-meter-tall Dragon at the 1st Moon of the Star Knight realm, snorting fire from its nose. Meanwhile, Juro spoke.

"Even though I was made the 3rd General of Death Gate, I actually rival the 1st with my powerful beasts. Even he, as a leader, doesn't have a dragon. Mine is a Cold Breeze Dragon, ranked 18th among all the dragons on this planet!"

In turn, Zaheer scoffed and commented.

"Heh, it's pathetic how you're proud of this inferior beast. Let me show you what a powerful dragon really looks like."

Zaheer let out his own 6 beasts. As Juro saw a 10th Star realm Dragon, he laughed. However, just before his laugh ended, another dragon stepped forward from the 6th portal, a giant one.

It gave a deafening roar, forcing the dragon of Juro to tremble and making the 3rd general's jaw drop.

"A dragon of the Star General nobility rank bloodline!"

He gasped.

"Old Dragon, tear them apart!"

"Haha, with pleasure."

Old Dragon replied.

Meanwhile, Cold Breeze Dragon was shaking in fear. It had never faced such an overwhelming dragon in its life. Regardless, the Cold Breeze Dragon gritted its teeth and jumped at Old Dragon with a roar.

"Wait, stop!"

Juro whined.

"Too late."

Zaheer said as Old Dragon opened his mouth to bite Cold Breeze Dragon, the latter's eyes shined coldly as a few icy arrows started to appear.

"Spare me the hard work, young 'in."

Old Dragon uttered as he bit the neck of Cold Breeze Dragon and with a fast jerk, broke its neck. After which, the elder dragon slammed it on the ground as its icy arrows melted at the same time their creator perished.

Riding this momentum, Zaheer's beasts jumped on Juro's and made quick work of them after Old Dragon took care of the strongest one. Juro was dazzled by the sight of this calamity. His dragon was his pride. Due to the chaos of the battle and the bewilderment it gave him, he couldn't even notice Zaheer when he appeared behind his back with his spatial skill. Juro tried to retaliate with a lunching move but the glaive of Zaheer was faster and closer. He cleaved the body of Juro into two with one swing.

*beep*

[Earl Zaheer Seth has killed the 4th General of Death Gate].

Sacra Emilat was fighting with Blue Black Mantis, while his beast Doom Demon was engaged in a fight with 5th General, Zunair Kisko.

Zunair was in life and death battle with the demon, he took out his second sword as well. Fighting ferociously but still, he was the one with more cuts. It seemed as Doom Demon was playing with him.

"What's the matter greatest swordsman, is this the extent of your prowess? You are a chagrine sword wielder who failed my expectations"

"Shut your mouth"

Zunair retorted, Demon kicked him in his chest, the opponent flew many meters and smashed against a parked car, it burst and caught flames.

Zunair jumped backwards, he held his swords tightly and raised them high, both swords descended in a curve motion, making an X.

"Space Slash"

Zunair Kisko muttered.

A grey coloured X was launched, it was visible. Doom Demon examined it with a single look and jumped very high, the attack was not slicing and diving even the air and space. Nothing could hinder its charge.

Sacra was slicing the Blue Black Mantis, with the big size of the mantis, it had many open areas to attack. He did his best to avoid those sharp spines, with each slash, the mantis left a deep cut on the ground and buildings.

Mantis expanded his wings and flew to the sky, Zunair looked at his pet. The fangs of the mantis turned black like iron, together with its tibial spines as it landed down towards Sacra.

It was making a strange loud sound, string fangs against each other. Its bite could tear of anything in the way, Sacra watched it and uttered.

"Awake, Coronela"

With a gale of wind, Sacra vanished from the ground. Surprising both mantis and its master, Zunair quickly warned the mantis.

Mantis quickly turned his head but its fate was already sealed.

Sacra flapped his wings and attacked.

"Cut of the Wind Queen"

Within a few seconds, the head of the mantis fell on the ground. Sacra Emilat dashed and landed in front of Zunair, Doom Demon arrived behind him.

"So, would you like to serve my King or willing to die today with your fellow 3rd General"

Sacra asked.

"What do you mean? Juro died!"
