The Adventurer System

Asarki and Grim Draigh were failed to beat the dungeon record because suddenly all the monsters there, were abnormally buffed. Which means their current level and capabilities won't enough to take down the future monsters.

Yumiro inevitably tugged Asarki's shoulder closer to him as he was going to use the teleportation crystal to get back where Yuki was.

"B-Bring us to the Adventure Capital." Yumiro said with an uncomfortable tone, then white particles of lights enveloped their body in an instant.

Swoosh!

A couple of minutes had passed, then their elevated feet were slowly touched on the wooden surface.

Bam!

As soon as they landed, Yumiro quickly moved away as he felt unusual heat inside his body. "W-We are here." He stuttered along with the reddened face.

Asarki frowned her brows as she noticed that man was acting weird. However, she gazed around and wondering where actually this place was.

"Grim, where are we?" She asked him with a polite tone, then discovered this wooden place wasn't that kind of big.

"This is the inn where I left Yuki." He replied and intended to open the wooden door that was positioned in front of them.

"Yuki? Who is it?" Asarki once more as she didn't expect this man had a friend in this game.

"Yuki is a cute little girl." He said while having a malicious smile on his face.

Bam!

Asarki mildly slapped Grim's hand at the doorknob, to stop him from opening the door. "W-What did you say? A little girl?" She said, then crossed her arms to cover her body.

"What is that slap for? Yes, she's a little girl, why?" He replied with a clueless tone.

"You won't do anything bad from us, isn't it?" Asarki wanted to assure this man wouldn't take advantage of her. "I didn't expect that you're into a little girl..." She sighed.

"What are you saying?! You're not my type, idiot!" Yumiro raised his voice a bit, enough reason for Yuki to hear it.

"Then what is the smirk for? I saw it, don't deny it." Asarki pointed her index finger closer to Grim's mouth. 

"It's nothing, idiot! I'm just excited to see Yuki! What did think I will molest you? Yuck, you've gross mind right there, huh..." Yumiro said as felt uneasy in what he heard from Asarki.

Bam!

But, their argument was immediately stopped as someone opened the wooden door and slapped Yumiro's face eventually he fell to the ground.

"Ouch... Who's that?" He murmured, then slowly lifting his body while holding his none.

"G-Grim?" A little girl stuttered.

Yumiro took a glance in front of him, seeing a little girl who had silky black hair, a reddened face, and yellow eyes that way more looked like Amiya when she was the same age as Yuki. Yet, next to Yuki a cat woman seems like was glad to see him.

"Oh, Yuki? How are you here?" Yumiro smiled at her since he knew Yuki was worried about him by just looking at her eyes.

Bam!

Yuki suddenly jumped directly to Yumiro, then quickly embraced him while tears rolling down on her reddened cheeks. "Brother Grim, why are you taking so long?" She kept using her small hands to keep slapping Yumiro's chest.

"O-Oh, I-I'm sorry, Yuki. I never expect I'll spend too much time inside the dungeon." Since his chest received a slap from Yuki, his words become choppy.

"Did you know I'm worried about you?! I thought you will never come back here." Yuki said with a broken voice.

"I know, I know, but I promise I'll get come back here, isn't it?" Yumiro pushed himself into a stood-up position while using his arm to carry Yuki inside the inn. "Let's go inside, Yuki. Isn't safe for me if some adventurers saw me here."

On the other hand, Asarki was astonished at the scenery that happened in the wooden place. But the main question pierce her mind, why suddenly Grim's attitude changed after seeing this little girl?

"Eh? He could become sweet like that? Or just eyes deceiving me?" Asarki murmured, then saw the cat woman walk closer to her. So she bowed her head to have a formal introduction with this woman. "I'm Asarki, Grim Draigh's party member inside the Dungeon Castle, nice to meet you."

Chirla also cheerfully bowed her head. "I'm Chirla, the caretaker of this inn, and hired to babysit Yuki."

The two of them smiled at each other. "Let's get inside." Chirla invited her, then moved closer her head to Asarki. "Because isn't safe for that man if someone saw him here, and also might be this inn destroyed if the adventurers here attack him."

Asarki nodded to her without making any second thought. As she already knew the reason behind it. "Yes, that's a nice idea."

Her ears perceived the sound of the doot clicking as Chirla locked it. In front of her, Grim and Yuki were sat on the bed that was suitable for one person, then next to them, a table and one chair.

"Ms. Asarki, let's have a seat. I'll just go downstairs to prepare some food, I know that you're hungry." Chirla said with a delighted grin on her face.

"Thank you so much, Chirla. But, how much we will cost for that food?" Asarki asked with a weak tone.

"Don't worry, Ms. Asarki. Mr. Grim pays all the two weeks' expenses here. So seat right there, and I'll bring delicious foods." Chirla waved her hand, then disappeared from Asarki sight.

"Hmm... Grim paid two weeks expense here? How rich this man?" Asarki gently kneaded her chin, and suddenly felt uncomfortable since she just watching Grim and Yuki having an interesting conversation.

She deeply sighed, then leaned her back on the wooden chair. "Why he brings me here?" She was just dumbfounded at the wooden ceilings as she didn't want to interrupt their special moments.

In her mind, once she left the inn she will directly travel to the Vren place as the guild selection was started within 5 days.

"Hmm... What guild will choose me." Her mind feels like, it was floating in space. And didn't notice Yuki was pointing her index finger at her.

"Brother Grim, who's that beautiful woman?" Yuki asked.

"Correction she's not beautiful, and her name is Asarki." Yumiro said while having a malicious smile on his face.

Asarki furrowed her brows since she heard her name from Grim. "Eh, what did you say, Grim? Why are you destroying my beauty with this little girl?"

"Or she's your girlfriend, brother Grim?" Yuki said with a clueless tone.

"No!" Yumiro and Asarki said at once. But it couldn't help to explain the main reason why Grim brought her here. "I'm here because I and Grim are separating the monsters' core we've collected."

"Hmm... Is that so... Fine. As long as brother Grim, here right now." Yuki rubbed her face on Yumiro's arm. 

However, Yumiro suddenly coughed. "Actually, Asarki, isn't the main reason any I brought you in this place."

By his words, it caught Asarki scrutiny. "Huh? What is it?" She calmly responded.

"It not easy to say, but can you help us to climb at the Heaven's Dream Continent?"
