The Adventurer System

"Not really, but I saw him once. He's the adventurer who losses his member." Yumiro said with a serious tone as he witnessed the scene that happened when Harun fought the Polarcrisis bear. This monster was the second evolution of the polar bear where you could see in the snow part of the dungeon.

Asarki smoothly kneaded her chin with wondered eyes. 'That man has strong mana, circulate all over his body. Why he's doing this in a kind of place?' However, she pointed again to the idea she suggested before. "Grim, I understand if you won't agree with my suggestion. But, you've another plan?"

Yumiro slowly shook his head. "Honestly, nothing. But we needed to Ask Yuki before we could decide." He responded, then stared at Yuki that had trembled mouth. It seems she was still frightened by what happened.

"Yuki, don't bother yourself with that man, he will never attack us." He patted his head. "But we don't have too much time for this, Asarki suggested that you need to become my slave first before you could come along with our expedition. What will you say about this?"

Even though Yuki wasn't at the right age to make a decision like this. Still, she needed to do it.

She nodded her head with a grin on her face. "It doesn't matter, brother Grim. As long as I can always stick with you."

"B-But... Did you hear it? You're being my slave." Yumiro stuttered.

"Yes! If this is the only way to become useful to you, brother Grim." Yuki replied with perseverance eyes.

Yumiro patted her head along with a deep sigh. "Okay, if you're okay with it."

"Don't worry, Grim. I know you will never treat this little girl as a slave, but, you needed to protect her from merchants."

Merchants were a group of adventurers who trade commodities in different places. Yet some of them would like selling slaves or stealing another slave so they could earn a big amount of money. Merchants have a huge scope in the VR world since they gathered numerous rare items, scrolls, and strong slaves for the big auction.

"Merchant, huh... No one could touch Yuki." He was determined, and suddenly remembered he had one slave back then. "Asarki, can I have one or more slaves because I made mistake when someone become my slave?" Yumiro was pointing for Roshy as whenever he recalled her screen name, he eventually gritted his teeth.

Asarki frowned her brows. "Did you already have a slave, Grim?"

Yumiro nodded his head a bit. "Yes, she's an adventurer like me. But she's the one who offers it, not me. Now, answer my question I can have one or more slaves?" He wondered since it was game, so there was a chance having a slave was limited.

"Yes, it's possible as long as you can handle them. Hmm... You've already had a slave, huh, and it was an adventurer. How lucky are you?" Asarki with a mocked face.

Yumiro chortled. "What are you saying? That annoying woman became my slave because she insists to help her to get back her item, but she fools me. So since I ask about this, how I can disband her for being my slave?"

"Oh, I see... You will find it on your function screen. Who is this woman? Why it seems you are really mad at her?" Asarki asked.

"It's none of your business..." He replied, then slowly scrolling down his screen as he wanted to disband her as soon as possible. 

[Would you like to remove Roshy as your slave?]

[Yes]     [No]

"Oh, this is system function Asarki mentioned." He clicked the yes sign without making any second thought. However, a new blue view screen appeared right before his eyes.

[Your contract with the slave and rights to order will disappear. Are you sure? Please choose the YES sign if you accepted the terms and NO sign if you hold back.]

[Yes]     [No]

Yumiro clicked the Yes sign again without any hesitation. Then darted his eyes to Yuki. "I guess I'll leave it for now."

"It seems you manage it without difficulties, yet, before Yuki became your slaves you need to buy a collar in the main capital." Asarki said.

"No, I'll make this tomorrow." In his mind, before to finish his decisions, he will second advice with his little sister.

"Hmm... So this is the right time to take my leave." Asarki said with a polite tone.

But suddenly, there was a cat woman stood up in front of the wooden while holding a food cart. She coughed twice so she could get their attention.

"It seems you're having a serious discussion there, but for now, I'll cut it out. Since it's better to eat this food before it's cold." Chirla said with a smile on her face.

Yumiro knitted his forehead as he was eager to know the taste of food here. Or to be exact, even though he already ate the deer meat gave by the elves race, he was looking forward to see what was the taste of the food here if it has a lot of condiments.

However, Asarki couldn't stay in their place for more as she realised the occupied room by Grim was sufficient for one person. "Hmm, it seems you prepared delicious foods, Chirla. But, it's sad to say I need to leave. Goodbye, everyone! Goodnight." after Asarki spit those words, she immediately went toward the wooden door. But, she bumped into the woman and it was glaring at her.

"You will not leave until you didn't eat these foods!" Chirla yelled, then forcefully closed the door with her bare hands.

Bam!

"No, Chirla. I'll eat if I went home. Thank you for worrying about me." Asarki said with a shivered tone as the cat woman's attitude suddenly changed.

Chirla cracked her fingers at the same time pushing Asarki back to the chair. "As I said, you will never leave this place if you didn't my food. Come on eat it."

Asarki sat again on the wooden chair. "Yes, Chirla. But please calm down."

"Yes, Ms. Asarki." Her expression again suddenly changed.

'Eh, this woman can switch her attitude in an instant. Yet, it such a waste if don't eat it.' Asarki uttered to her mind.

"Asarki, sleep here. We have something to do this morning."

"What?!"
