The Adventurer System

As soon as Yumiro laid on the extra bed gave by Chirla, he opened the function screen, then glimpsed at Yuki once more before he leaves.

"I'm leaving, for now, Yuki. Take a good rest here while I'm not here." After his words, Yumiro clicked the logout icon.

Then suddenly, an uncontrollable brightness appeared right before his eyes. As it seems his mind was passing again through his original body.

Swoosh!

"Tch! That one is hurt..." Yumiro said with a weak tone as he felt a mild headache, as he slowly took off the black VR helmet on his head.

"Hais... This place again." He deeply sighed, then strolled around his whiskey eyes. "Where's Amiya? She definitely scolds me if she knew I'm late to take my medicine."

Psh!

His nose perceived a sensation of lavender scent as the nano sprayer released a new scent. Which made him nonchalantly. "I should eat, for now. Since my body in the real world needs strength to continue to play in the VR world."

Next to his bed, was the wheelchair that he had been used for four years. He stretched his arms, then tugged it closer to him.

"Ahh, come over here." His forehead was knitted since even the wheelchair had the wheel, still, it will consume some of his strength. "My strength here had a big difference with my strength in the VR world."

Seem Yumiro used to live in the VR world as he could move his limbs there without making any difficulties.

He succeeded to sit in his wheelchair, however, he already panting. "Jeez, I should immediately find any item that could cure my illness, no matter what is the casualties."

After those words, Yumiro pushed the wheel. Then headed to their kitchen to eat some food and takes his medicine.

"My mind telling me that I'm not hungry, but my body seemed needs it." Yumiro said in a low voice while hearing his stomach groaning.

In front of him, was the straight path that headed to their main door. You could see in his eyes the structure of their house, and partial light coming from the fluorescent light. 

He then darted his eyes to the left side of their house, where he could found the small kitchen also along with the dining table.

As soon as he entered, Yumiro already saw the food on the wooden table, and next to it was the bottle of his medicines.

"She's home?" He asked himself, moreover he focused to eat some food as he felt at any moment he will pass out.

45 minutes easily had passed, yet, Yumiro was covering his mouth after he took his medicines. More likely, his stomach wouldn't like his medicine, or to be exact, his mind telling him to puke the medicines that had a small rough texture that passing through his throat.

"Jeez! I hope this medicine has the same taste as the HP potion." Yumiro said with a grossed expression on his face.

He saw the wall clock mounted onto the wall. "Amiya?" Yumiro called the name of his little sister. As he wondered why she was doing right now.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Hurriedly footsteps were perceived by his ears, moreover, the origin of the sound came from the upstairs.

So he looked at the kitchen door, to see Amiya there.

Then suddenly, a young woman had ash black hair, pale skin tone, and glistened eyes. Appeared next to it.

"Brother Yumiro!" After she saw him, she eventually charged while her brows facing to each other.

"Hi, Amiya. Hehe." Yumiro raised his left hand with an uneasy smile on his face. Since he already had an idea of what will happen next. "Wait, wait, wait, Amiya!" He wanted to escape, but, he knew his condition wasn't possible to do that.

"Brother Grim! I'm always reminding you to put an alarm before you play! You didn't see? You missed again two hours to take your medicine!"

Yumiro saw a machine gun bursting on out of Amiya's mouth. More likely, she won't stop until she didn't point all the mistakes done by his brother.

"Sorry, Amiya. I can't easily log out because I'm taking a serious expedition." Yumiro tried to explain, but Amiya was still scolding him.

"I know, that's why I didn't force you to log out just like before. If you are continually being like this, I should take back the VR helmet. For you teach some lesson from me." She put her hands under her underarms, then she sighed with irritation to him.

Amiya knew, once she forcefully logged out again her big brother. There was a high tendency, her brother's life inside the VR world could easily kill by the monsters. 

"Amiya, please don't do that! And also, you made a promise that we will meet tomorrow in the VR world." Yumiro said with begged eyes, as he really looking forward to seeing his sister, and strolled into the plaza.

"Yeah, we made a promise. But, you started to neglecting yourself. Think about it, you're not playing this game for too long and you already acting like that? What if your condition got worst? Don't be mad at me, brother Yumiro. I'm just protecting you from the possible scenario." Amiya said without stuttering.

Yumiro admitted that his little sister was absolutely right. In his mind, Amiya could think widely even she was a young age, so he asked himself why he kept continuing to give a hard time to take care of him by Amiya? He knew all the sacrifices she did to him, and take away her chance to have a good life.

So too wouldn't create more problems for her. He lifted his head, then he delighted smiles at her. 

"Yes, Amiya. I understand what are you trying to say, so I apologize for making too much trouble." Yumiro cheerfully responded, then pushed again the wheel. "Wait for me, here. I'll just get something..."

Amiya's face suddenly changed while looking at her brother leaving the place.

A few seconds had passed, Yumiro still got back where was Amiya. Yet, on his laps were the weightless black VR helmet.

"Here, Amiya. I promise I'll not make any trouble from now on." He smiled again, however you could see his lifeless whiskey eyes. "It's an exhausting day, I think, I need to proper sleep. Goodnight, Amiya."

After he said those words, he proceeded to his room while cheerfully humming. Pretending he was not affected by taking back the VR helmet.

Amiya stared at him. "Oops... I guess I went too far."
