The Adventurer System

Verden immediately glowered at the two members of the Aries Guild suspiciously.

Nakil and Bugane were located next to the broken window as Amiya's skill destroyed it. Yet, it was enough to hit their VR bodies by rays of the sun.

"Oh, you must be the Captain of this lowly guild?" Bugane asked with a snickered on his skinny face.

However, Verden won't speak any kind of words against him. Since he was fully motivated with the encouragement given Amiya.

His terrified expression on his face and the coward he has shown in front of the Dark Guild has easily faded away. As he swiftly turned into aggressive Guild Captain.

"'It's time to get serious, Aoiri was right. I'm the Captain here, so I should protect everyone with my strength.' Verden thought as he suddenly released magical power, so their opponents would know his capabilities. 

Nakil and Bugane were slowly stepping back while sensing magical power that could wipe the magical power they had.

Verden cracked his neck left and right, then stretched his arms. "Aoiri, I'm fully awake. Can you sit there and watch my fight." After he said those words, he confidently smiled. Then attained closer distance within them.

"That's the actually the words I wanted to hear from you. So good luck and give your best shots!" Amiya cheerfully said.

"Which one of both you would like to leave the VR world?" Verden asked them in a low voice. "You should cherish the time you are here because it must be the last time your feet could step in this wonderful VR world."

Although Verden wouldn't give any mercy to those lowly adventurers, he still warned them. So they could know what were the chances their waste.

"Stop lecturing us! You're just a coward who always hiding in your mother's undergarments." Nakil mocked in a high tone, so everyone could hear it.

On the other hand, Amiya sat in the decorative metal chair. To show, she already entrusted this match-up with her Guild Captain.

"Good luck, Captain Verden. Don't hold back, show them why they didn't need to make a mess with the members of Radiance Guild." Amiya used the function screen to deliver her message.

Verden took a glance at her along with a wink. "As you wish, Aoiri."

The three adventurers were observing each other in the Captain's room. Each one of them had serious expressions on their faces, as they feeling each other which one would land the first attack.

"Leader Nakil, you should be careful. He had the magic power could inflict high damage to us." Bugane warned Nakil by using the function screen, so Verden would hear their plan and conversation even the small details they noticed.

Nakil shook his head. "There's no something need to worry about him. The only special with him, is his high magical power, except for that, nothing." Nakil perception of the Radiance Guild captain wouldn't change. As he assigned one scout to watch his every movement in the traps they set up. Since they were aware by doing this kind of strategy, they could learn how a certain Captain would react to their upcoming problems.

"I already warned you, but it's your choice. You're the one who going to manipulate this battle with your hands." Bugane said with a weak tone.

Swoosh!

Nakil made the first move, as he was confident he will eliminate Verden existence in the VR world in an instant.

He used his agility to reach the 12 meters. So when the time, Verden stood up in the same position, he swung his knife while aiming at Verden vital points. 

By attacking the vital points of a certain opponent, the adventurers could enlarge the damage they could deal.

Swish! Swish!

A knife with a strong aura cut the air, as Verden swayed his body backward just to dodge the attack.

"Why are you getting slow? This is not the speed you show to Aoiri." Verden said while observing Bugane from afar.

Nakil clicked his tongue, as he admitted his movements were slow down after receiving a hit from Amiya's physical strength.

"Don't be so confident, I still now use my true powers. So tell me, this is the true strength of all Guild Captains of Adventure Capital?" Nakil insulted him back, then stopped in the amid.

"I spent too much time here, I should end this..." Nakil bent his knees, then suddenly two magic violet circles appeared on each side of Nakil.

The magic circle is the way when a certain adventurer is casting a skill that consumes high mana. However, the magic circle isn't easy to acquire as it needs hard work and time.

To be more specific, the magic circle has a big scope in the VR world. Since if the adventurer used this magic technique it could enlarge the damage and speed up the cooldown reduction.

The magic circle would be acquired once the adventurer reached level 30 and above. Even though some of them were delayed because of a lack of potential to wield it.

[Shadow dash!]

The entire place became quiet, while Nakil dashing into Verden's location with an outstanding speed.

[Defiant slash!]

As soon as he reached his location, Nakil swung his knife upwards. Then it created sharp sounds, yet the sound didn't matter. As the violet aura looks like would deal massive damage in just the blink of an eye.

The [Defiant slash] was one of the rogue class skills, which inflicted 2% of poison that could paralyze the adventurer if it lasts for 30 minutes. Although that was a lot of time, it was still useful in long-time combat. As the battle in the VR world was last up to one hour because of the HP potions and the healing magic.

Swoosh!

A violet liquid touched Verden's face, then it quickly burned his clear face. Luckily, Nakil's knife didn't make any wounds, which means the poison wouldn't affect his movements.

"I already saw it, this is enough." Verden murmured as he seems, he let Nakil attack him so he could know what his class was. To be easy for him what kind of magic skill he will use to counterattack the opponent's skill.

[Heavenly fist!]

Verden gathered magical power in his hand, this was enough reason to pause all the adventurers that were near the Radiance base.

Swoosh!

As soon as he released his magical power, the whole place was started to crumble. And Bugane tried to escape from the scene, but Amiya used her [scatter shot] skill to lock down him.

Verden used his magical power to attain closer distance, then swung his arms upwards without making any second thought.

Boom!

The Radiance base couldn't take his power, as the new explosion whacked on Nakil's chin. Which made him turned into red particles in just one hit.

A few seconds had passed, then Amiya asked Verden. "What we will do with this man?" She pointed her index finger to Bugane.

"Let him escape, so he could inform his Guild Captain that the Radiance Guild isn't easy to deal with."
