The Adventurer System

Yumiro raised the red knife to the same level as his head while looking at Malik with furious eyes.

He planned to stab Malik's head, however, Yuki intervened with him.

"Please, brother Grim. Don't this I'm scared..." Yuki tugged his clothes along with her trembling hands.

"Spare my life! I didn't mean to do this!" Malik begged him while kneeling to the dried surface.

Yumiro knitted his forehead as he got back into his senses. He whirled around without saying any words to Malik.

"Let's go, Yuki. I'm sorry." He also called Chirla and Asarki.

"Hey, Grim! Don't enter yet, wait for us!" Asarki with a weak tone as she still not recovered from the attack.

No one would like to stop Grim from moving. Since they knew his true capabilities and how he was heartless to the other adventurers.

As soon as Asarki recovered her footing, she immediately walked closer to Grim. "Grim, I apologize for that I didn't want to make a scene here." She bowed her head.

"You should not apologize, you didn't do any wrong. Nevertheless, why you stopped me?" It seems Yumiro was started to cool down.

She narrowly lifted her head. "Oh, it's just to wouldn't separate while traveling inside the dungeon. Because there is a chance the portal would bring us to a different place if we will not enter at once." She explained while some blood dripping on her lips.

Four of them were standing in front of the orange portal. Knowing once they entered with this, unexpected occurrences will happen.

"Everyone stick with me!" Asarki went first inside the portal as she was doing what was the party leader's job.

In an instant, Asarki's party easily vanished from their current place. Yet, Malik wiped the blood on his mouth while glaring at the portal.

"Leader Malik! Are you okay? Wait, I'll help you." A woman with pink hair worriedly yelling, then quickly raised her magic wand.

[Healing!]

Her wand emitted a green essence as the skill was taking effect. After a few seconds, Malik pushed himself into a stood-up position.

"Thanks, Cirx! Jeez, I can't do anything with him." Malik said, still glaring with the same portal.

"Are you out of your mind, leader Malik? She's the party leader why did you suddenly throw her somewhere?!" Cirx scolded him.

"She's just an sl*t, but, I'll make Grim pay in what he has done." More likely, Malik would like an act of revenge.

"No, supposedly you show some respect to them. You're acting like a delinquent, you should shame." Another woman wearing a blue mask on her face said.

"What did you say, Morga?! He attacked me!" He raised his voice.

"You're lucky that the NPC stopped him. Since I sense back then he will literally PK you. If you want to revenge, do it alone." Morga warned as she noticed by looking at him Grim was from a different level. 

"Useless sh*t, he just attacked me off guard. I'll show him what the true power is..."

A sound of seashells was perceived by their ears, then after a few minutes, four of them arrived inside the tunnel.

"All of us are here?" Asarki asked them at once.

"Yeah."

Brother Grim, I can see anything." Yuki was scared, so she hid on Yumiro's back.

"Don't worry, nothing bad will happen here." Yumiro responded nonchalantly.

Inside the tunnels, the surrounding was vague as the darkness enveloped them. Moreover, in 50 meters there was a strong light seems the endpoint.

"Let's go to that spot." Yumiro ordered them, but Asarki interrupted him.

"Wait, Grim. Let me take the lead, we need to avoid if there's any trap here."

She walked in front of Grim, as she knew they could avoid the worst-case scenario if they avoid all the traps planted here.

"Do what you want."

Her eyes turned into a different color, detecting all the suspecting mana around them.

"This area clear is clear, however, don't lower your guard. We won't what will happen next in this place." Asarki warned them in a low voice, then proceeded to traipse in.

Sound of their feet touching the ground, the only sound they could hear. Luckily, they reached the endpoint without triggering any traps.

'The mana here is overflowing, it's hard for me to determine which is the trap. But, I need to do this job, I'm the party leader.' She uttered to her mind while all of them were dazzled by the brightness in front of them.

Now, Asarki's party standing 10 meters tunnel, and under it, was a flat surface also more tunnel the headed into a different place.

"Don't move, Grim. There's magic under in this place, isn't safe to land yet." She spread her arms since Asarki taking this expedition seriously.

She pointed her index finger directly where the trap was. "Avoid that, you should not step that one. Because you might trigger it, and we didn't know what happens next."

Yuki, Chirla, and Yumiro were carefully looking at that spot. More likely, the two NPC were confused since they couldn't see anything. And even Yumiro transpicuous some magic power, however, it took time which means it was way better if he listened to Asarki.

"I'll go first, you should remember where is the place I land, okay?" After those words, she leaped without making any second thoughts.

She safely touched the surface. "Hey, it's safe here! It's your turn!" She used the party function to send the message, so she couldn't lure all the possible monsters that were inhabited here.

'Oh, she's quite a good leader than me. Her actions always depend on the situation, if she continues like this, we could have an easy expedition.' Yumiro thought, then turned to Chirla and Yuki. "Grab me, we will jump."

"Yes!" They said at once.

They were also landed safely, then he noticed the place was encircled by different glittering magical lights.

"Asarki, what those things?" He wondered and even Chirla and Yuki were the first time to see those things.

"Oh, that's mana. This place is made of mana, which means the mana here was quite denser than in the other place. Not to mention, once you are able to enter the mid-level and high-level dungeon this kind of incident is ordinary." She explained without stuttering.

"Is that so? If the mana here is just as you said, don't tell me it could enlarge our mana while we are here?"

"Ehk! Wrong! It was the same, the place is made by the system, so no one would enhance it unless your zexel was based with it." Asarki explained. "Let's keep moving."

The place was not too dark because the sunlight illuminated above them. Or to be exact, this setting was suited to glance around.

'Where is the monster here? This is literally empty?' Yumiro was confused.

'The surface is vast and planted by numerous traps, avoid those things is an excellent idea. Since once we enter in the tunnel adventurers and monsters are our opponents. It's better to conserve our HP here.' Asarki mumbled while her eyes were rapidly rolling around.

A strong explosion occurred in their place, as there was an adventurer stepped into the traps and triggered it.

"Hey, guys! What are you doing?! I said walk in the same path" Asarki yelled.

It shook the place, which made for Yuki to couldn't maintain her balance and fell to the ground. Or to be specific, Yuki activated one more trap.

However, Chirla and Yuki shook their head knowing that none of them stepped the planted traps

"What are you saying, we are just following you the explosion coming from the back!" Yumiro responded.

Yumiro swiftly charged into Yuki's location, magic circle and emitting too much light. Even he wondered what was it, still, he successfully saved Yuki from the perilous situation.

"Thank you, brother Grim. Sorry, my isn't too strong, so the explosion blew me here."

"No, worries Yuki."

Then suddenly, a man with blue hair waving his hand while having a suspicious smile on his face.

"Oi! I'm sorry, but, it's better to survive with the monster. Goodbye, this is a small gift for attacking me!" Malik's voice echoed in the place.

He then used one of his skills to activate all the traps.

"The heck are you doing?! Let's get out of here, that man ruined our expedition." Asarki ordered them but suddenly stopped after seeing Grim.

"I should kill him earlier!" He gritted his teeth and jumped towards Chirla for protecting her from the continuous explosion.
