After Yumiro annihilated the 3rd Gobogren, he didn't waste any amount of time killing the remaining monsters not far away from him.

A blue faded light suddenly flickered his body as he already attained one level from eliminating the monsters. However, he didn't bother himself to pull all of them in his stats since Hippie needed some backup from the Trivial soldiers.

3 Trivial soldiers remained on the vast platform and for no good reason Hippie couldn't land any damage even she chopped its arms.

"Damn it! At this rate, my fatigue probably would run out until I find a way to kill them." She clicked her tongue, then cast one of her skills.

[Fiery Dance!]

Her moves become more gentle as it seemed this skill focus on her agility and the lightness of her body.

She lowered her body a bit, then charged directly to the monsters without thinking too much.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Each monster received multiple slashes from Hippie and even their heads separated from their bodies. Still, it was slowly coming back, and their HP's was the same.

"T-This frustrating, I should hit the core?" She asked herself while panting. She eventually nodded as she decided to go for it.

In the 15 meters distance, Hippie raised her knife to the same level as her chest while her left hand supporting the back of it.

Sweep!

Her eyes were widened after being noticed there was no core inside the Trivial soldier's chest.

"Eh? W-What just happened?" She stammered, then started to step back far away from the monsters.

At this juncture, Hippie maintaining 25 meters distance from the monsters. "No, it's too reckless. I should think of another plan before I charge again."

But all of sudden, a young man appeared beside her without hearing any footsteps from him. Just the mild breeze touching on her blanched body.

"Grim..." She said as she was amazed Grim annihilated those monsters in a short time.

"How's the situation here? Did you discover something from them?" He promptly asked her, then swung his left hand to remove the green bloodstain on his Kariki knife.

It shattered to the ground and releasing a stinky smell at the same time.

She barely nodded, then didn't mind the uncomfortable smell. "Yes, Grim. Yet, I don't have any clue on how we can rid those monsters."

Yumiro narrowly looking at him, checking her condition if she could still fight. "Is that so... Tell me more details." He said in a low voice.

"Yes! I discovered those monsters had no cores in their chest. This means we can't kill them no matter how many we tried." She said with a polite tone.

Yumiro hummed, then kneaded his chin. "You already tried in different parts? I think it's just a place in another position?" He wondered.

She shook her head. "It's not possible, Grim. This type of monster usually you could see their core in their chest. I'm sure about it." She explained.

"If you say so... But, you have any idea why we can't land any damage? Don't you think this is a bug from the system?" He said while observing the monsters.

She shook her head one more time. "It isn't a bug, Grim. If this is a bug we can see any type of glitch with them, however, none of them have. I have an idea, nevertheless, I don't have any evidence to prove it."

"Just tell me, it's not important. Tell me all your ideas because there's a chance it could help in our current situation." He explained at her nonchalant, then raised his guard to become ready for the monsters' attack.

"I apologize, Grim. But, the thing inside my head there's someone controlling them and the main reason why we couldn't land any damage." She titled her, then gazed around finding any clue in the area.

"Someone is controlling them? This is possible in this VR world." It seemed Yumiro was literally clueless about this and recalled something that happened earlier.

"Nothing is impossible in this world, Grim. Yes, I think there's a monster that had a high magic ability to control them or summon them." She faced to him and added. "I remembered when I was watching the number one streamer. On his way in his expedition, he fought a monster that could do what I mentioned to you. It's like an invisible magic power that uses to control the monster. What you called it--

"Like a puppeteer?"

"Yes! It's just like that." Hippie confirmed it.

But all of sudden, Yumiro fully remembered what he saw when the moment the Trivial soldier was about to arrive.

"I think... I know what you're talking about right now. I see black magic strings earlier." He said, then darted his eyes where he saw it before.

In that area, the place was covered by darkness as the light range couldn't reach it.

"You already see them? Where?! Where?!" Hippie turning around like a crazy woman as she was eager to find out the magic power Grim talking about.

"Tch! Calm down, you're starting to act like a weird woman." Yumiro stopped her with his cold voice.

"Sorry, Grim. I'm just too excited to leave this place. I don't want to take more risk, m-my grandmother--" Her tears formed in the corner of her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, cut it out. I hate more dramas. We will leave this place together, no one would leave behind. That's the only thing I could guarantee to you."

She nodded and closed her eyes, then her tears eventually dropped. "Yes, Grim. We will leave this place and take all the items that could help me to earn real money."

Yumiro snickered. "Likewise..."

After the conversation ended, the 3 Trivial soldiers started to engage them while having a different aura. Red and black merged which gave them a look to become much stronger.

'They're buffed... If Hippie is correct that someone controlling those monsters. We should be more careful.' He uttered to his mind, then ordered a new task to Hippie.

"Hippie, you should go to that area. Check if our true opponents are there. I'll stay here, to block those monsters. If there's a creature controlling the Trivial soldiers, they probably do everything to stop you."

He pointed his index finger at the right corner of the vast platform. Or to be exact, the distance he was talking about was around 102 meters. It was that kind of long, however, the monsters obviously would stop her.

"Yes, Grim. Leave it to me." She responded with perseverance eyes. "But, I should gonna do if I see there's a monster there."

"Just attack them once, and fall back. Our plan here is to notice how they'll react to your attack." He said, then used his [Physical transmission] to enhance his physical strength and agility.

"Let's go!"

As soon as the monsters closed the margin into 10 meters. Yumiro dashed in front of Hippie, to protect her from receiving damage and to wouldn't slow down her pacing.

The monster in the middle was advance 2 meters than the other two monsters. A mid-range attack, it was the expected attack by the soldiers. So Yumiro added more speed on his legs, to close their distance to 3 meters. At this position and the distance they had, the monsters probably couldn't wield their weapons.

"Go, Hippie. Hurry!" After Yumiro seeing a big opening to the left side, he slid into it then kicked the monster's chest to move to the right side.

"Thanks for the path, Grim. Let me finish my job here."

[Fiery Dance!]

- This skill is just like one of the rogue skills. Fiery Dance skill could eliminate all the sounds that the wielder could make and add 10% agility directly on the basic stats. It's applicable for sneaky attacks.

Her feet seemed like a feather, that touching the surface.

In an instant, Hippie reached the precise spot where Grim talking about. "Grim, I already here."

But all of sudden, the Trivial soldiers turned to Hippie's side and charged with excessive speed.

"You think, you can escape with me?" He confident said, then used his pushed kick at the monster positioned on the right side.

Since the three monsters forming a straight line while dashing. Yumiro easily took down them at once.

They were rolled one time to the ground, then quickly regained their footing. As Yumiro attack wasn't enough to immobilize those monsters.

"Damn it!"

"Hurry, Hippie! Leave the place. The Trivial soldiers are aiming at you." Yumiro ordered her.

However, Hippie suddenly fell to the ground while having trembled body. After seeing the mastermind of this attack.
