The Adventurer System

Gino called the both parties that were going to participate in the event. "Just like the first rules, the first team who'll annihilate the opponents or forces them to surrender would declare as a winner."

Yet, Hippie and Asarki were startled by what they heard from Grim Draigh. No one believed that Grim could be like that.

"Hippie, I think it's better if we follow him right now. Before his attitude again change into a cruel one?" Asarki murmured to her with meaningful eyes.

Hippie slowly nodded her head as she agreed with Asarki's decision."I thought so..."

After a few were moments, Asarki's party facing to their opponents that not too far away from them..

"Leader Naito, I can stay on the backline? I don't want to hurt those beautiful girls." A man with red spiky hair and a calm face said.

It was a Viper level 26 assassin that was looking at the middle-aged man that had a tiny beard, wearing silver-plated armor, and utilizing a golden shield that had a silver lining.

"Viper, I understand that you find this match boring. Nevertheless, you still need to show your skill so the guild leaders keep an eye on you." Naito said with a serious tone.

Viper sharply exhaled, then took a glance at Asarki's party. "It seems they leave me no choice. I'll just end this match quick, so they couldn't feel my blades."

A man had half gear on his face having a malicious smile on his face. It was Darius wearing green metal shining armor while there's a blue reaper hanged on his wide back.

"Viper, you shouldn't show your mercy just because we're fighting against those girls. However, if you can't really do it let me do the job." Darius said confidently.

The remaining two members belonged to the Cleric and Range classes. The Cleric was Annie level 27 adventurer, wearing a blue skirt and using a witch wand to cast her spell. While the range class was Zico level 27 adventurer that wore leather armor all over his body and utilizing an orange-brown bow.

Zico stepped forward and walked towards the man who wore a dark mask and red robe. "Hey, tell me who are you?"

Even though Grim's face wasn't revealed, still, he was blinking his eyes in confusion as he bit startled by this arrogant man's action.

"It's required to answer your question? We're in the different parties so it is way better if you didn't know me." Grim responded nonchalantly.

Zico didn't like how Grim responded to him, so angrily grabbed Grim's robe and tried to pull him up. "You shouldn't know how to respect. Because I can kill you right here right now."

[Physical transmission!]

Yumiro secretly cast his regulate his physical strength through his left foot. "Back off while I can control myself."

"Why? What can you do, huh? Lowly adventurer."

Thud!

Before he kicks his foot, Yumiro barely pushed Zico's chest. And all of a sudden, Zico was sent back from his members and coughed some blood out of his mouth.

"Oi! Oi! Oi! Battling while the match didn't get started is a serious violation. Cool your head, adventurers. Just show your strength in a real combat." Gino warned them.

Hooooo!

The shocked audiences suddenly being cheering crowds. After seeing the incredible strength of Grim.

"Look at that adventurer! In just a push, Zico sent far away!"

"Use your strength in an actual fight, not in the place!"

Zico annoyingly wiped his lips. "The fuck? That power..."

At the same time, Naito caught him so he asked that man. "Zico, what just happened?"

"I don't have any idea, leader Naito." Zico was dumbfounded at Grim while still feeling his hand.

"Tch! He can't push back you here if he just used his physical strength. It way more looks like, it because of his magical power?"

None of Naito's members could briefly be explained the exact thing that happened between Zico and that adventurer.

"You just slip, Zico. I saw it." Viper said, but Zico knew he wasn't slipped.

On the other side, Yumiro, Hippie, and Asarki were standing in the orange portal. It was the way to head in the Eratic dessert.

"Grim, why did you do that? You shouldn't mind them because you just made them eager to kill us." Asarki confronted him in a polite tone.

"He touched me..." Yumiro replied in a low tone, then stood in front of them.

At this point, Asarki remembered Grim's behavior. As this man didn't like someone to touch him and even attained a closer distance with him. Yet, there was just an exception since Yuki and Chirla could do it without getting abnormal reactions from Grim.

"I thought so... What do you think, Grim? We should change our plan? As you showed them some of your strength." Asarki said.

He slowly shook his head. "No, we'll stick to our plan. Both of you will still attack all of them but don't worry I'll give you back up." Yumiro responded, then entered the orange portal.

Swoosh!

Asarki and followed him, while the other party was looking at them and eventually entered the portal. 

As soon as they arrived at the Eratic desert, Yumiro felt the extreme that penetrating his skin.

"This is no joke? I can already feel my sweet that dripping on my chest." Hippie said that made Asarki got alarmed.

"Hey, Hippie. You should mind your words, there's a man at this party." Asarki while suspiciously looking at Grim.

Hippie chuckled, "hehe, sorry I just get carried away." She replied, then noticed Grim darted his eyes in a different direction. 

Ding!

Over their head, a blue view screen appeared with the indication the battle will start after the 10 seconds passed off.

"Both of you, get ready and raised your guards. I feel they'll attack after the countdown expires." Yumiro warned them nonchalantly.

Asarki and Hippie nodded at once. "Yes!" They took the front line as they using their high agility to start the fight.

"Leader Naito, let me handle that man. I think I can play with him while you wrecking those girls." Viper suggested.

Naito frowned his brows and asked him. "You think, you can beat him, Viper?" Naito wanted assurance so they could avoid any casualty.

"Of course, leader Naito. You're the only one who knows a lot more about my capabilities. Yes, I can eliminate that man in no time." Viper confidently said, then took the knife on his waist.

Naito gradually nodded his head. "Hmm... Fine. If you think you can do it, then go. I won't stop you."

[Let's the match begin!]

After seeing the system function, Hippie and Asarki didn't waste any amount of time to charge in their opponents. At the same time, they cast their skills that would help them to increase their agility. 

[Fiery dance!]

At this point, you could see the difference in their skill. As none of Grim's parties have a magic circle, it was the sign that they promoted their magic tier.

Hippie's body was covered by the light green light, while the woman next to her cast a buff skill.

[Feather feet!]

Also, a green light appeared on Asarki's magic staff. Then eventually, it directly hit Hippie's body that could enhance her agility in an instant.

By using the system function, Grim sent a message to them. "Take down the cleric first. Once you do that no one could maximize their powers." 

While dashing with a flashy pace. Hippie and Asarki nodded their head at once. They then took their kobold's knife that was granted by Grim.

By using that knife, they could enlarge the damage they'll deal with them.

[Zexel on!]

To see all the blind spots where Naito's party could attack. Asarki used her zexel and saw different magical power from them.

"Hippie, you should avoid the rogue. He had a high magical power also I could sense his overwhelming speed." 

"Roger that. But, how we can attain a closer distance with the cleric? She's guarded by her leader." Hippie asked her.

100 meters was the exact distance before they reached Naito's group.

"It's not a problem, Hippie. Once our distance to them down to 40 meters. We'll use our knife to cut the surface to create a strong blizzard that would hide our existence."

"Okay, I understand, Asarki. You can rely on me at this time."

As soon as the distance was 75 meters, Hippie and Asarki revealed their hands while in their grasps was the knife.

Darius was curiously looking at them. "What they're doing? A straightforward attack? They're dumb--"

However, when the moment the two released their skills. The whole place was enveloped by the thick dust and it had zero visibility that no one could see what exactly happened outside of it.

"Hippie, cancel the cast of your [Fiery sword] skill. Because it has too much light and might be the reason on how they could see us."

Swish!

Hippie followed her order without making any second thoughts.

"Now, we're in the advantage. I can see the Cleric by using my zexel, so follow me we don't have more time."

Swoosh!

In just 10 seconds, Hippie and Asarki vanished in the thick dust. More likely, because of Asarki's eyes, they could execute their sneak attack.

Swish! Swish!

"Ahhhh--"

A loud scream transpired inside the thick dust. However, it quickly faded away after hearing the second slash of the blade.

Thud!

"Zico, quick put wind magic in your arrow. There's something happen!" Naito hurriedly ordered him.

[Compressing arrow!]

Swoosh!

Then suddenly, the thick dust comes along with the magical arrow. As its effectiveness was the same as the black hole that could suck all the things that were near to it.

Yet, the revelation has come. Naito saw the woman was lying on the surface and her blood pouring her blue skirt.

"Oi! Oi! Oi! What the heck! It is so fast! The battle was just 30 seconds ago and there's already an adventurer eliminated." Gino exclaimed to the shocked audience.
