The Adventurer System

Chapter 283 - Try Out

Asarki paused for a second while having an annoyed expression. She was looking at the beautiful woman that was attaining a closer distance towards Grim Draigh. She didn't know the reason why she felt this until Hippie made her realize the situation.

"You give yourself a rivalry..." Hippie said these swords along with a malicious smile on her face. After that, she passed at Asarki and followed Grim to the table where Elijah bring him.

Asarki narrowly flinched as her words awakened her senses. Yet, the same thing happened as she refused to say that she already had a feeling for Grim Draigh.

"W-What are you saying, Hippie? It doesn't matter to me." She stuttered as she followed them to the table.

_

To begin with. Asarki didn't hesitate to introduce who was the adventurer behind the red mask. Why? Because she knew Elijah would never speak against him, at the same time, this woman was well savvy about their current situation.

Yet, Grim was still surprised as he had no idea why this woman was so clingy to him since he knows this was the first time he met her. He tried to make a distance as he was already felt Elijah's chest was rubbing his arms, however, it seemed she wasn't letting him do that.

And all of a sudden, Asarki stepped into the scene and tugged Elijah away from Grim. "Hey! Hey! Hey! Calm down, Elijah. We are here to eat not for you to seduce him." She said in a deep tone.

"I knew that, Asarki! I'm just glad that you brought a strong adventurer like Grim Draigh to my cafeteria." Elijah responded along with a broad smile on her face.

Grim was looking around, then noticed Hippie was secretly laughing for no good reason. So he went to her and asked her. "Why are you laughing, Hippie? I think I didn't understand something here."

Yet, Hippie continued what she was doing right as she didn't have an intention to tell about it, knowing that it would affect their current party.

Grim deeply sighed, then leaned his back against the metal chair. "Haiss... All of you are acting strange." He mumbled.

"Go, Elijah, bring us delicious food here." Asarki ordered her, but Elijah refused.

She slowly shook her head. "It's inappropriate behavior if I just let you here. Let my waitresses do that job."

Clap! Clap! Clap!

She was clapping her hands, also, it was the time when the waitresses were moving closer to them.

"Bring all the delicious foods and drinks here."

After the maid heard this. She nodded her head without making any second thought and leave the place so that she could give the food that the owner of the cafeteria mentioned to her.

First, Asarki took a deep breath and inhaled it softly. "We have an important discussion, Elijah, but it's okay it doesn't matter now." Asarki said in a serious tone.

Elijah just smiled at her, even though she heard that this party would have an important meeting, still, she decided to stay in this place. She squinted at Asarki, "Thank you, Asarki."

Grim raised his brows as her words piqued his attention. He was narrowly looking at Asarki, after that, he asked him. "What is our important discussion, Asarki?"

"It's about Yuki."

And all of a sudden, the ambiance of the entire place changed into a serious one, yet, Elijah wasn't the one who have none idea about the situation, still, she decided to listen.

"Yuki? Do you find anything?" Grim asked her once more.

"No, but I think this idea would help us to reach the Heaven's Dream." Asarki replied.

"Come on, Asarki, tell it to us so we can easily understand." Hippie hurriedly said as she realized Asarki saying like a puzzle.

"My plan right is to recruit two members to climb in the Heaven's Dream." She paused for a second, then looked at Grim. "I know you would be against this plan but I think this is the right way to lessen the casualties that we will face on our journey." She explained briefly, at the same time, hoping Grim would accept her suggestion.

Grim was looking at her straight, realizing Asarki's suggestion was quite right. Why? In order to bring Yuki back in her place, he needed adventurers that could rely on everyone's strength. In his mind, sometimes his current power was not enough to deal with everyone so if there was an adventurer who would help him his job would be lessened, at the same time, make it easier.

Nevertheless, the most pressing question here was WHO? To have a good party they must-have criteria when they were choosing who was the adventurer suitable to become their next party member.

He was looking at her right now along with his serious eyes. "Fine. It doesn't matter to me right now, but who do you think is the suitable adventurer to become part of us?"

Asarki was blinking her in surprise, didn't expect that would accept her suggestion in that easy way. "W-Wait for a second. What do you mean by this? Y-You're accepting to have new party members?" She said cheerfully, at the same time, wasn't aware that her face was already attained closer with Grim's face.

"Yes. If it's the only way to help Yuki." He responded without hesitation and added. "So now tell me, how are you gonna choose the two-party members? I think you already know what I would not like."

"Yes! I'll try to scout adventurers that had a good personality, also, have enough strength to fight alongside you."

Hippie intervened with their serious conversation since she was also part of the party. So it means her suggestions would be counted.

"I think it's way better if we choose our new party members that had a class of Ranger and Mage. Grim could play the assassin role, I just wondering if two classes would help us to increase our party's power."

Hippie was right since their party still doesn't have the two classes that she has mentioned. Moreover, by doing this, they can be sufficient to fight in long-range combat that would help to avoid the other traps that might occur.

"You're right, Hippie. I'll put that in my note. Mage or Gunner I think these are the best classes to have." Asarki said and added. "After the Guild Selection, I will try to pick the adventurers that belong to the guild where we would join."

"Me! Me! Me! I want to join your party!"

And all of a sudden, the owner of the cafeteria cheerfully raised her hands as it seemed she wanted to be part of this rising party.

Asarki hurriedly shook her head even though she well savvied what this woman can do. Still, she doesn't like her to be part of their party for some reason.

"No, Elijah, you should just focus on handling your cafeteria here." She said, then looked behind her and saw the waitresses were still preparing their food.

"Hmm... I think I have enough ability to be part of your party." Elijah said while showing her pity eyes.

Grim and Hippie stood up in their seats. "Show us what you can do." They said at once as both of them wanted to see what was the abilities of this woman.

Asarki aggressively stood up. "What are you guys saying? Elijah would not join us since she was busy handling her businesses in the virtual world."

"No, I want to join, aside from that, it's my pleasure to be part of your party." Elijah replied just like a cute little girl.

"If you really do so, show me what you got." Grim smirked at her while moving out of the cafeteria.

She nodded her head, "Of course, I'll try to surpass your expectation." After she spits these words she followed Hippie and Grim towards the exit.

Asarki was left alone in the side of the cafeteria as she knew Grim would surely like the power that possesses Elijah. They were good friends inside or outside of the game, but she didn't like was the clinging of Elijah to Grim Draigh.

"Why I'm feeling this?! I feel so irritated that should never happen!" She said, at the same time, could not do anything just to follow them in their path.

Outside of the cafeteria, there was open space and a straight route that headed to the other section of the virtual world. And because of the Guild Selection, there were no people walking outside so for them this was the right place to try Elijah's power.

"What do you want to see, Grim?" Elijah asked him with a sweet voice.

"Just show us what you can do, that's all. But if I don't see that you don't have potential sorry to say, but I'll never hesitate to decline to be part of my party." Grim responded nonchalantly while looking at the woman standing in the middle of the straight route.

She nodded her head along with a broad smile on her face. "It doesn't matter, Grim."
