The Adventurer System

A young man with long white hair took a glance at his behind as he felt there was the presence of the adventurers.

In his mind, they were the same adventurers he saw from the 4th floor. Despite this circumstance, Yumiro still not lowered his guard since he knew the monster could attack him at any moment.

On the other side, Miles wanted to intervene in the battle.

"Why we are standing by? He took all the experience and some loots, we must do something!" Miles yelled, however, there was a tough arm that stopped him from charging. "What are you doing, leader Bruce? That's monster is low hp, we can KS it!"

A man that had a big physique flinched after hearing those words. He chuckled then gazed at Miles for a few seconds.

Bruce gently patted Miles's shoulder that had light armor. "Don't rush too much, Miles. There are 20 floors left here." Bruce calmly explained, seemed like he planned for something.

"He's the KS specialist! If we do the same thing everyone will get happy and there's a chance our popularity increase just like him." Miles desperately as he was eager to steal his spotlight.

"Cool your head a little, you didn't curious to witness why he's confident about having a solo expedition." Bruce whispered while the other party members were staring at them with clueless eyes.

Miles narrowly nodded. "I admit that I want to see it, nevertheless, Grim Draigh will still show it if he fights me right now." He smirked thinking that the party leader would allow him.

"Miles! What are you saying? Listen to leader Bruce." A woman with had a long blue hand in her grasp said with a honeyed tone.

Miles recognized the voice, so he turned around. He saw that it was Sei glaring at him. "This is our chance to get revenge, Sei. So please, don't give me that kind of stare." He tried to change the ambiance as he felt everyone was staring at him.

"First of all, you didn't know if that rumor is actually true. Second, you're not the leader of this raid, so listen to what is the order." Sei said with a bit raised in her tone.

"B... But?" Miles slowly rubbed his head as he knew Sei words were accurate.

"Stop it, Miles. Just watch him in the meantime." Bruce said then snickered for something.

"If Grim Draigh joins in our party, it will be having a benefit. 2 top rookie adventurers join in one, probably everyone will talk about this." Bruce murmured.

Asarki stared at Bruce, she knew this man wouldn't pursue to stop Miles from attacking if he hasn't any plan.

"I have bad feelings about this... My guts telling me to avoid this man he's dangerous..." Asarki said.

Bruce party took a glance where the skirmished happened. A young man that bathed from the monster's blood dashed inside.

"I'm not comfortable with this? Why they are not passed to me and take the next floor?" Yumiro said as he felt a bit annoyed. "I should finish this."

In his mind, after this, he will become Lvl.20 adventurer, which means he had 2nd option to get back in Adventurer Capital to meet Yuki once more.

His left foot swung that making a 90° arc and it was hit on the center of the monster's head. Yumiro felt its skull was slowly having a crack as his heel damage it.

The grasshopper head was hardly whacked on the surface while coughing liters of blood. "It still has a hp" Yumiro mumbled.

Although the monster survived from the attack, still, it had no strength to protect itself from the finishing attack.

"This the end," Yumiro shifted the monster's position. He did that kind of thing to reveal the monster's chest so he could seize the core smoothly.

Yumiro suddenly straight forward his left arm as he stabbed the monster's chest, it easily penetrated inside and the grasshopper flinched for the last moment. While the kariki knife inside, he twisted it since the core was way larger than the usual core he had.

"That's amazing, he can win without using any weapon that can deal high damage." Asarki said, in her mind, Bruce should succeed to recruit this man.

"Who is this weird guy? Why is he coming closer to me?" Yumiro worried since his fatigue wasn't enough to proceed to the next floor. However, he had no intention to have a conversation with Bruce.

As soon as Bruce closer to Grim Draigh, he intended to escort him just like the closest friend.

Bruce raised his right arm, a sign that Miles needed to stop.

"I'm Bruce the party leader of this expedition..." He said.

"Okay..." Yumiro replied and whirled around.

Bruce gritted his teeth as the young man in front of him disrespected him. Yet, some serious words spit out from his mouth.

"I'll tell you this straight point, we would like to invite you as our party member? We will split the loots 50:50, what did you think?" Bruce said while having a malicious smile on his face.

"Pass..." Yumiro replied without making any second thought.

"You will get benefits if join to us." Bruce asked him once more.

"No, I'm fine." Yumiro directly went to the corridor.
