The Adventurer System

A new adventurer died inside the dungeon castle as he had been accidentally PK by his party members.

Diorser and Bruce the two adventurers used their magical powers without thinking too much.

"Miles..." The only word that Sei could say as she had felt tightening of her chest. She kneeled on the ground while watching the particles vanished in the VR world.

Yumiro knew there something different will happen since one of their members was being eliminated.

"This isn't my fault, even though that man survived from the massive attack. I'll not let them to heal him up." Yumiro murmured and prepared himself for the upcoming attack.

The place was enveloped by Sei sobbed while Asarki kept blaming her party leader as she thought it will be fixed by conditions.

Pat! Pat!

Asarki patted Sei shoulder as she wanted her to calm a little bit, although she understands her feeling still, they needed to be alert since they hadn't idea what next thing will happen.

"Sei, you should get back in the Adventure Capital, for now." Asarki suggested.

Sei flinched after hearing those words, she then took a glance at Asarki with blubbering eyes. "I can't do that, I can't leave you here." She said while her tears were rapidly rolling down on her blanched cheek.

"Don't worry about me, Sei. Our opponent isn't easy to deal with." Asarki replied.

"No, if something bad happens I can heal you, I don't want to lose more friends."

"I understand what are you plotting right now, but your wand is already stolen by Grim Draigh. You can't cast any skill without that." Asarki confirmed and has no intention to stop the three adventurers that positioned in the amid of the 5th floor.

"I knew that, b... but I'll never leave you here!" Sei persuasive to stay by her side.

Asarki mildly shook Sei's shoulders. "But promise to me, if the situation is getting worst you will not hesitate to use the teleportation crystal." She said with a weak tone, so Grim won't hear their conversation.

Sei slowly nodded her head while wiping her tears. "Yes, co-leader Asarki. I won't break my promise."

On the other side, Diorser looked at Bruce that positioned next to him.

"Leader Bruce, if you don't mind let me fight this man alone." Diorser requested and having snickered on his face at the same time.

Bruce shook his head with a serious face. "I can't... I won't repeat the same mistake." He admitted that he underestimate their opponent and the main reason why they lost one member.

"I can kill him, leader Bruce. Trust me!" Diorser was eager to fight Yumiro in one-on-one combat, so he could steal the number 2 position in the rookie rankings.

"No!" Bruce angrily exclaimed as he felt their opponent was on a different level. "If you want to suicide don't bring your members. Also, our plan here is to kill him immediately and we can do that if we help each other."

Diorser secretly glared back with a malicious smile, it seemed he has schemed for something.

They planned was to use their numbers to stand out. However, Asarki seemed didn't want to participate with them.

"What?! You've good eyes, Asarki. Why you suddenly want to back out in this expedition!" Bruce yelled then looked at the woman that had brown hair.

"Did you know me, Bruce? I have good eyes, which means I can tell me when is the right to back out and continue this expedition."

Bruce clicked his tongue. "Your eyes are not always right."

Yumiro patted his head all over as he worried since he spent a lot of time in this area that should be on the upper floor.

"I should fight these two?" He asked himself as came to his mind that he will not get any benefits if fought them. "Tch! It seems this is already decided."

The two-man in front of him cast a new skill, where the thing he could see in his right side was the gathering of blue-white magic. While on the left side a red aura that circulating all over his body.

The two same skills occurred in the area, that perfectly aimed into the young man that making his fighting stance.

"I already see this... It's impossible to make a hit." Yumiro uttered to his mind.

[Dash]

His speed suddenly increased that made the two of them squinted multiple times.

"Where he did go, Diorser?" Bruce asked the young man not far away from him.

Diorser shook his head while carefully watching the surroundings. "I have no clue, leader Bruce."

Swoosh!

Then unexpectedly, Yumiro appeared in front of Diorser.

[Physical trans..]

Yumiro didn't complete to cast skill as there was a solid object that hit his back. He lost his footing, but it wasn't enough for him to fall to the ground.

"Hahaha! I hit him." A man with a gruff voice perceived by Yumiro ears, it was Bruce that held a red chain. It seemed he used his magical power to create like a strike to pull back his metal shield.

[Thunder strike!]

Yumiro's eyelids widened as he didn't expect that their attacks were so fast that made him stop in one position.

"This is bad." The words he could say before blue-white magic landed at him.

Boom!

After Diorser swayed his right hand, an electric current was directly touched in their opponent. It created a collision where some of the bricks were scattered all over the place along with the young man.

"Nice shot, Diorser!" Bruce exclaimed as he thought, they slow down their opponent and will having a hard time to recover from the electric skill.

No one could see Grim Draigh's HP since he didn't belong in any type of party.

"Let's help them, co-leader Asarki. Our members are at an advantage." Sei said with a weak tone.

Asarki shook her head while kneading her chin smoothly. "Don't let your eyes fool you, Grim Draigh is still alive. On top of that, we didn't see him use a different skill. It will be safe for both of us if we didn't do anything."

Sei nodded at her as she believed in her Asarki's Zexel. "Yes, co-leader Asarki I believe in you."

In the place where Yumiro sent, it was covered by thick smoke. So they had wondered if the adventurer regained his footing.

"Let's launch another skill, Diorser. We won't let him recover!" Bruce yelled with a grin on his face as he was excited to win in this fight.

Diorser snickered right away. "No problem, I wait this time to come."

Diorser stood up straight in the amid, way more looked like he was ready to cast a new skill that no one could it see before.

He swayed his hands in a circular motion while releasing blue-white magic on his grasp. Everyone was pondered as they knew there was something different will happen.

Yumiro saw an elevated view screen that appeared right before his eyes, with the text he was affected by a lot of damage by those attacks.

"Tch! The strong force blew me away, wait, what's that?" Even though his vision was vague because of the brown smoke, he still transpicuous a strike from above since there was a light coming back and forth.

2 minutes had passed before the smoke faded away, Yumiro saw the man in front of him releasing strong magical power over him. So he looked up and discovered there was a dark cloud that occurred inside the place, the main reason why the place suddenly become dull.

It released a thunderstrike that seemed at any moment it will strike him. Moreover, that wasn't his main problem since Bruce was also casting a mid-range skill, so he will be safe from Diorser's skill.

"Heavenly rim, grant my wish..." Diorser started his enchanting spell, which was saying the words that pinned point on his skill.

[Shield Manipulation!]

[Rapsy hell!]

Bruce released tremendous fire on his metal shield, seemed like if Yumiro received this skill his HP will instantly be drained.

"This is the end..." Bruce murmured while waiting for Diorser to release his attack, so they could fill up all the places where their opponent could use to escape.

[Bursting cloud!]

When the moment Diorser finished his casting duration, an 8.5m radius of lightning was released by the dark clouds. It was an AOE skill which means the target wasn't getting easily could escape. Nevertheless, Bruce was already widely swung his arm then fetched his metal shield.

Yumiro deeply exhaled as he felt annoyed since those adventurers pushed him to use his trump card.

"This is too early, but I worried because there's a tendency I can survive with it. Inventory." Yumiro picked up one monster's core inside his inventory.

A strong radiance emitted by his body, enough reason to notice it by Asarki.
