The Adventurer System

Asarki went directly to the young man who had an appearance like a monster, even though he was intimidated by it she pursued herself. To grow as an adventurer inside the VR world.

"I would like to join in your expedition, I know this is embarrassing, but I want it." Asarki said with persuasive eyes.

Yumiro was dumbfounded at her as he was shocked by those words he heard.

"?"

In his mind, he nearly kills one of her members and the other one died because of him since he deals massive damage. So he asked himself why this woman to be him become a party member?

In far, Diorser already stood up with helped of Sei, it seemed he couldn't stand up on his own if no one assisting him.

"Than... Thank you, S-Sei." Diorser was having a hard time to open his mouth, perhaps he still not recovered from huge damage.

"Don't talk too much, Diorser. Just rest because we are going to leave this place." Sei said with a weak tone as she worried since Grim Draigh could attack them.

"What is your answer, Grim Draigh?" Asarki asked him with a pleasant tone.

Yumiro slowly shook his head, as he just avoids getting fool by other adventurers. "Pass... I'm good if I'm alone."

[Core devourer cancel!]

His appearance back in its original state, he canceled it out after seeing his HP was already 100%. On top of that, it could slow down the pace of his expedition as the kobold's scale affect his agility.

"I just want to participate in guild selection, and the only thing before I do that is to kill some monsters here." Asarki explained her main reason. 

But still, Yumiro shook his head once more. Sign that, he didn't agree with her request.

"First of all, I didn't know you. Second, you party members attack me. I don't if it's a nice idea." Yumiro said with a stolid expression on his face.

"I knew it, but... I can't accept if came back again to the adventure capital because finding new members will eat most of my time. Aside from that, I have a big reason..." Her voice tone was minimized little by little as she embarrassed to reveal her true intention why she played the Adventurer System.

Yumiro patted his head all over as he felt annoyed in the numerous that fetched by Asarki's mouth.

"No matter what you said, I already made up my decision. So then, let me take my leave and find your members." Yumiro said then sauntered closer to the entrance of the next corridor.

Asarki ran towards Sei, confirming something about her. "Sei, leave this dungeon immediately. Bring Diorser with you, I'll stay here."

"What, co-leader Asarki?! This place is dangerous or is the right term to say it, that man is dangerous." Sei exclaimed while her index finger pointed to Yumiro.

Pat! Pat!

Asarki patted Sei's head with a grin on her face. "Don't call me now, co-leader. Just Asarki that's fine." She decided to won't mind Sei reactions.

"Co... Asarki, this place isn't safe for us. Come on, let's leave this place." Sei was persistent to bring her.

Asarki slowly shook her head while closing her eyes at the same time. "Sorry, Sei. But I need to do this, I hope you understand." After those words, she hurriedly went to the dark side of a certain place to chase the solo adventurer. Wishing she will be part of his expedition.

Sei deeply sighed as she couldn't do anything to stop her. "Let's go, Diorser. Bring us to Adventure Capital!" She said while in his grasp was the transparent crystal.

Swoosh!

The two of them were vanished in the dungeon castle just blink of an eye with the thoughts Asarki could safely back again with them.

Inside the corridor, she felt a mild heat coming from the lamps that plastered on the brick wall. Not too far away from her, she saw a shadow of a man so she smile since Grim Draigh was still in the area.

Yumiro knew someone behind him, however, he has an idea it was not a monster. "What that woman doing here?" He asked himself since Asarki aimed closer to him.

As soon as Asarki reached him, she stopped for a while. "My fatigue decreases in just like that? How fast this man?" She felt there was something different with his strength that a normal lvl.19 adventurers could do.

"What's your problem?" Yumiro initiated a conversation with her as he felt uncomfortable if there was an adventurer like her, walked beside him.

Yet, Asarki was felt uncomfortable while having a conversation with him as he knew what was this adventurer's capability.

"I'll follow you." She replied with a honeyed tone.

"Follow me? Why would you do that?" Yumiro asked her without looking back, as he knew if did that their distance to each other was getting smaller.

"I-I already said, I want to join with your expedition." She was stuttered, but still, her persuasive eyes won't fade away.

"And I already said, that I refuse, right? So what if you come back with your party members and don't bother me here." Yumiro said then increased his speed, so he could leave this woman.

However, Asarki seemed didn't want to leave behind as she also increased her speed, so she will be capable to catch him up.

"Wait for me, Grim Draigh! If there is a monster appear here I can protect myself. I'm just a tactician!" Asarki yelled with a terrified tone as she was stating the fact.

Yumiro flinched after hearing her words. In his mind, if she was a tactician why she didn't help her party members earlier? But he continued even though it could help him in this dungeon. Moreover, he knew that there was no respawn in the corridor since the dungeon gives the adventurers a place where they could regain their strength.

"Please, Grim Draigh. Wait for me there."

"Whatever..." Yumiro said that seemed it was coming from his nose.

10 minutes had passed, then two adventurers have already finished the 100 meters corridor. In front of them, there was huge metal that has a color of blue-green while in the center of it had a rounded hole where the average baseball could fit.

"What is this?" Yumiro gently rubbed his hand on it and felt it was carved by something that he couldn't understand.

Asarki heard his voice, so she went next to him. She pointed her index finger to the hole.

"The other adventurers called it way to the dungeon boss." Asarki confidently said she has a lot of information in the VR world since she was a tactician. An adventurer who made plans for every expedition.

"Way to the dungeon boss?" He said with a weak tone as he bit confused. In his mind, the only thing to face the dungeon boss was to reach the endpoint.

Asarki easily noticed it Grim Draigh's problems with the help of her Zexel. "Yes, starts in this floor the next floor had already the same hole. However, there is an item used before it completely activated and it called teleportation  orb." She explained.

"Tele... Teleportation orb?" Yumiro repeated all the new words he heard. His forehead was knitted as he was eager to know about the orb.

In Asarki's mind, this was the right time to impress him. So she spits all the information about the orb.

"The teleportation orb is a type of item that is very rare. Since isn't easy to find, it will take time and blood before an adventurer can find one. Moreover, this item can sell over a million-dollar which means no one has the intention to use it."

Yumiro kneaded his chin with a facial expression that he understood the words that came from Asarki's mouth.

"Hmm... I thought I can face the dungeon boss easily." Yumiro said, he then placed his hands on the freezing gate.

Squeek!

But he stopped when the woman beside him mildly pinched his shoulder.

"Wh-What are you doing? Are you entering in this dungeon without making any plan?" She looked terrified also wondered if this man was making a reckless expedition.

He nodded to her without a second thought. "Yes, what is the problem? Also, I can make a plan if I didn't what monster I'm going to face."

Asarki deeply sighed as she knew this man was truly clueless about the game. "You didn't gather information before you entered this place?"

He slowly shook his head. "Information? There's no information appeared in my function screen, just the name of this dungeon."

"What?! Are you out of your mind?! Why are you depending on the information given by the system? There is a blind spot in the information by the system, like what kind of monsters you will fight or the item you can get."

"That's important?" He asked.

"Of course! Sit here for a while let me discuss something about this dungeon..."
