After the military training period passed for Lin Xing and Long Yan, they were not as busy anymore. After officially starting classes, they occasionally had some free time to rest.

After saying that, he left gracefully.

Once Cheng Yu had left, Lin Chen secretly glanced at Long Yan’s expression.

But when their eyes met, there was no sign of anger in Long Yan’s crystal blue eyes as Lin Chen had anticipated. Instead, a hint of amusement could be seen, “Why are you looking at me?”

“How would I know if you’re jealous if I don’t look at you?”

Lin Chen quickly retorted, turning his head away.

Long Yan reached out and covered Lin Chen’s head with a towel, “Didn’t you say you wanted to eat ice cream? Let’s go together.”

“Hey, if I had known this place was his, I wouldn’t have come.”

Feeling a bit awkward, Lin Chen muttered to himself, and Long Yan smiled, “Why won’t you come? Is he going to eat people?”

Lin Chen pulled the towel off his head and suddenly stared at Long Yan, “How come I feel like you don’t mind at all?”

Seeing the cute expression of the little female, as if asking if he didn’t care about him, Long Yan couldn’t help but find it adorable. He pulled Lin Chen back into the dressing area, closed the door, and pushed Lin Chen against the door panel. He then lifted Lin Chen’s chin and kissed him.

After the kiss, their breaths were a bit heavy, and Lin Chen could clearly see the suppressed desire in Long Yan’s eyes. In an instant, he felt his heart beating faster than usual.

“Now you’re mine, Chen Chen. No one can take you away,” Long Yan said.

Lin Chen hugged Long Yan’s waist and leaned in, nodding obediently, “I won’t leave. I’m yours.”

Lin Xing and Mi Li had been sitting in the common area for quite a while when they saw Lin Chen and Long Yan walking over, holding hands. “Why were you so slow?” Lin Xing asked.

Lin Chen handed the other ice cream in his hand to Mi Li, saying, “Here.”

Mi Li smiled and took it, saying, “I thought you two went somewhere else first!”

Lin Chen gave a guilty glance at Long Yan, blushing, and shook his head, “We enjoyed the hot spring for a little longer.”

Lin Xing looked at Long Yan’s satisfied expression and chuckled, “I’m hungry. Let’s order some food. How about some skewers and some drinks? Just thinking about it makes me feel great.”

Finally, the four of them ordered a large pot of skewers, along with some cold side dishes and drinks.

They enjoyed eating, drinking, and chatting, and they didn’t leave until late.

When they were about to pay, Lin Xing overheard the staff inside saying that they were comped1a colloquial term that is short for “complimentary” or “compensated.” It is often used to describe something that has been provided for free or without charge, as a courtesy, or as part of a special arrangement.. He couldn’t help but be surprised, “Is there a mistake?”

“No, it’s because our boss personally made arrangements.”

“Boss? Do we know him?” Lin Xing blinked, showing his doubt.

Just as they were about to leave, Cheng Yu came out from inside, “I believe we do know each other. Long time no see, Lin Xing.”

“Wow, Cheng Yu! Long time no see. So, this place belongs to you!” Lin Xing exclaimed in surprise.

“Yep, did you have fun?” Cheng Yu asked.

“It was great, very enjoyable. Thanks for today. I’ll treat you to a meal another day,” Long Yan replied.

“Sure, see you later.”

After coming out, Lin Xing walked over to Lin Chen, “Do you know that this place belongs to Cheng Yu?”

Lin Chen nodded, “I knew it earlier than you did. We bumped into him as we came out of the hot spring.”

Hearing Lin Chen’s explanation, Lin Xing teased, “Did Long Yan also meet him?”

Lin Chen nodded again.

Lin Xing laughed and patted his head gently, “Long Yan is not so petty.”

Deep inside, Lin Chen couldn’t help but think that Long Yan indeed wasn’t that petty. He was the kind of person who focused on practical matters, and he wouldn’t let others see that he cared about certain things. But when it came to certain aspects, especially in private, it might be a different story.

However, he didn’t want to talk to Lin Xing about such matters.

After playing all night, the four of them returned home separately.

The moment they closed the door, Long Yan pushed Lin Chen onto the bed. After restraining himself all night, he couldn’t bear it anymore.

The next morning, when Mi Li and Lin Xing came down to call them for breakfast, no one answered the door.

They exchanged glances, knowing what had happened, and left with a smile.

Lin Chen not only missed breakfast but also missed morning classes.

When he woke up, Long Yan had already cooked porridge. Seeing the little female sitting up with a messy head of hair, Long Yan walked over and smiled, “Are you okay, Chen Chen?”

He had almost thought he would die in bed last night.

“Of course, you have to accompany me, because we didn’t go to morning classes together.”

Being good-looking made everything forgivable!

Long Yan touched his head, “You’re good-looking too.”

When their hands finally joined, Lin Chen was embraced by Long Yan.

“I’m sorry, did I worry you?” Long Yan said.

Lin Chen hugged him back and whispered in a voice only they could hear, “You’ll get it when we get back.”

Mi Li’s eyes turned red, “Xing Xing, you’re so annoying, making me cry again.”

Lin Xing held him close, “This is the last time, I promise!”

The romantic wedding took place under the blue sky, in front of the white clouds and the azure sea, ending with blessings from family and friends.

After the wedding, Lin Xing and Long Yan took their respective partners back to their rooms. As soon as the door closed, Lin Chen pressed Long Yan against the door, asking, “So, how long have you and Lin Xing been planning and plotting this?”

Long Yan embraced him, “About half a year ago, Xing Xing and I started discussing this. I’m sorry, Chen Chen, we didn’t mean to keep it from you, but we really wanted to give you a surprise.”

“No need to apologize. I still really love this surprise, thank you, Long Yan, for being willing to spend so much time and effort to do this for me. I’m really happy,” said Lin Chen, no longer serious, smiling again, with two adorable dimples at the corners of his lips.

Meanwhile, Lin Xing was squatting in front of Mi Li, asking, “Mi Mi, I’m sorry that I made you worry.”

This time, the wedding also made up for the missed honeymoon after their certificate ceremony.

When they returned, all four of them were very satisfied.

However, after the wedding, they all had to continue with their studies.

Lin Chen officially entered the research lab where Qin Yi was located during his third year and would become a respected researcher after graduation.

Mi Li opened his own tea restaurant.

Lin Xing and Long Yan had not yet graduated from the military academy but had excellent prospects.

Lin Xing would become the legitimate heir of Prince William and inherit his Prince’s rights.

Long Yan would join the First Military District where his male father served, becoming a general guarding the Empire in the future.

Then he rushed into the bathroom as well.
