"How can they let all those soldiers stay in pain just like that?" AnYuan quickly bending down to one of the soldiers to check his blood pressure and heartbeat.

She also examines there body and skin appearance. They are like a maze pattern on them, but the color is more to dark red and purple some dotted in red and purple.

'It is strange, what kind of skin disease is this... is more like an infection to their skin. When 1 was a little girl, Nana gave me a bittersweet medicine.' AnYuan was thinking of a way to treat the sickness.

Most of the soldier ware feeling hopeless. They knew that this disease could not find the cure.

"They are very weak. How long have they been like this?" She asks one of the soldiers. Her hand was rubbing her eyes brow. Tapping her finger to her chin.

"Not the long, only a couple of month." He replies to her without even looking at her. He just ignores her and continues to do his duty.

"Huuuh..? Don't you have any doctors or a physician in this are?" she turn around and get a glass of water next to the soldier bed.

"We have a physician, but he was burned down to ash by the enemy when he has been captured by them" the soldier blunder saying the word to her.

"What do you think? Can you do the treatment for them?" General Jin asks, he was leaning against the main door, folding his arm together watching her act.

AnYuan shook her head slightly, "It is not easy to formulate the antidote, but..." AnYuan bit her lower lip,

"I will try" AnYuan pulse and turn to General Jin "I need Lukewarm water, a clean cloth, yellow bell flower and foxtail weed, get it for me and I will make the antidote for them to drink" AnYuan tapped her feet on the ground and looked at the soldier.

"Go..." General Jin looked at the soldier and the maids, they quickly move out of the room.

As AnYuan is the captive person now and she is the only one who can help them, she thought it all over, maybe if she helps them this time, hopefully, they will let her go soon.

'Little Hua, Is a small hope after this maybe they will let us go back.' AnYuan tries to cheer herself. Well, little Hua is still in a sleeping mood. She did not answer her.

An hour has gone.

AnYuan when to a small room behind the men's quarters, all the remedy was prepared according to her instruction. AnYuan pours the hot potion to each of the bowls. Then she carries out a try of the potion. The maids were follower her and they help her to treat the soldier.

AnYuan walks to one of the soldiers and look at him calmly then gave him the potion. "It's very hot and bitter...be careful," she warned the soldier.

Surprisingly he drank it all down. Then passing the bowl back to her "Thanks" a small word come out of his mouth.

"Are you feeling any better?" AnYuan smile and ask the soldier in curiosity.

"Ermm..." he nodded.

"Good now you can take a rest, I will ask the maids to give you the medicine again in 4 hours' time." AnYuan was looking at the maid and give her a sign with her eyes. The maid nodded and she moves to the other soldier.

AnYuan also helps out with the other soldier in the next bed. She helps to take care of the skin problem and help out in the room. Many hours have passed then finally, they are finished giving the potion to every soldier in the quarters.

Now AnYuan walks slowly to the other corner of the room, she sits on the bench and leaning on the wall.

"Huh..." she sighs a little bit, only she could hear it. AnYuan was so exhausted, her feet were still in pain after the fall and it still is.

She bends down and saw a small cut to it. It has been slightly bleeding all this time AnYuan remembers the herb paste that she use to tread the wolf previously, luckily her beg pack was still with her. She reaches inside her beg, gets the herb paste and pastes it on her ankle.

To her surprises, General Jin was standing there and he suddenly bends down and help her to bandage her ankle with a piece of cloth in his hand.

AaYuan was dumbfounded; She froze momentarily not knowing what to do. She quickly pulls her leg not letting him touching her ankle. She was so embarrassed.

"Is ok, I will not do anything to you. I just want to help." He pauses his word and gives her a slight friendly smile.

"Anyway, I just want to return a favour to you" He looked at her straight to the eyes.

His light grey eyes seem too nice to see, is very captive and somehow it remains her of her friend Wolfie. Seeing his sincerity to help her, she nodded and agreed to his help.

'Wolfie?...no it can't be?' AnYuan tries not to think too much. How could it be the wolf, is the wolf that brings her to the old temple and it just left her there alone. Then it when back to the wood again, to join his pack in the wood.

AnYuan does know the story of a werewolf. They do exist in this world, just like the story of Mr. Elf. Thinking to herself, she recalls when nana told her the story of The Land Of Magic. Is just like the story in the fairy books. AnYuan doss of deep in her though. She forgot about General Jin that was still there.

"... are you all right?" General Jin asks her and shook her shoulder slightly.

"Oh.. I'm sorry! Thank you for the help." AnYuan finally comes back from her thought. She looked at him in a puzzle. "What is it that you ask" she ask him back.

"I said, are you all right? You look pale, you need to get a rest but before that get your self-clean and have something to eat. I have prepared a room for you the main will assist to your need" General Jin point to one of the maids to help her up and bring her to her room.

"I'm ok... I can walk." AnYuan insists not to let anyone help her.

"Stubborn are we?" General Jin asks in his calm voice.

"No, I am not!" AnYuan answers in her own arrogantly tones of voice and she's too tired, to be bothered by him.

"AnYuan, What were you thinking just now?" He really wants to know what on her mind.

"A lot..." she answers in a lazy tone of her voice now and moving forward to follow the maid.

"Then...tell me what are there.. ?" He pursues her to tell him.
