"Rouzhen?" Xiaoxi can't help but interrupt him. "Why are you buying a ring?"

"To own you and remind you that you belong to me," Rouzhen replies: "So? Isn't this ring pretty?"

"You certainly have a good taste, CEO Gu. This is a classic design created by the famous Italian Designer, JD. It's a limited edition!" the clerk said.

"Well, I guess this is so expensive," Xiaoxi lowers her eyes and says flatly.

Rouzhen Gu bows his head to glance at Xiaoxi's eyes, which is filled with shyness. "Don't be too touched. You are my woman and you deserve an expensive ring!"

"I don't have a choice but to accept it," Xiaoxi starts to get nervous with no reason under Rouzhen's stare.

He holds Xiaoxi's hand and looks at the ring he put on her ring finger. Then quickly bow down and kissed her hand. The clerk who sees this act of intimacy can't help but blush.

Xiaoxi slightly screams while stomping his feet as a sudden reaction to Rouzhen's public display of affection. She was so embarrassed and hoping the ground would swallow her up.

Rouzhen teases her: "I know you like it, but you don't need to get too excited. This is just an engagement ring, not our wedding ring,"

All he does is kiss her hand again, but now he longs to kiss her pretty porcelain cheek that suddenly bushed.

Xiaoxi feels happy and the spot he kissed brings shiver in her body. She feels her whole body burning inside, surrounded by the scorching heat. Her face starts to heat up, too.

Why did he give her a ring? Xiaoxi is truly taken aback by his actions today. First, he confesses his love and now he buys her an engagement ring. She doesn't know why this man chasing her. Is he madly in love with her or he just only wanted to give Han a complete family?

She attempts to pull the ring off: "Rouzhen, it's too early to have this ring!"

He pulled her into his ċhėst and whispers in her ear. "If you dare to take it off here, I'll kiss you right now and I'll continue doing it until you surrender,"

"You…" she is a little upset with his overbearing attitude, but she's frightened by his threat.

The clerk realizes that the couple had a few arguments and the atmosphere changed. " Madam, Sir is trying to propose to you. I think it would be bad if you reject him, he's making you feel special by buying this limited edition ring,"

She was shocked by the words she heard from the clerk.

"Proposed? Marriage?" all these questions lingered in her mind silently.

How could this be possible? They only have a few moments together, he confessed his love and told her that starting today she is his woman.

Rouzhen says nothing to correct the clerk's thought, instead, he quickly gives his card. "Here swipe it!"

"Yes, sir Gu! Thank you! Wait for a while, I'll process your payment," the clerk takes his gold card and gives it back with the receipt after swiping it. "Sir, do you want to wrap it up?"

"No. We'd like to wear it," Rouzhen answers, looking at the ring on his ring finger and he gave a glance to Xiaoxi who is now silently looking at him seriously. "Baby, c'mon don't look at me like that,"

"Sir Gu, are you getting engaged?" the clerk asks with eyes full of yearning and wishes them sincerely: "May you two grow old together!"

The corner of Rouzhen's lips curves up to form a grin. The clerk immediately gets swept off her feet as she's enchanted by Rouzhen's charming smile.

"No.." Xiaoxi tries to explain awkwardly as she looked at him but he isn't attempting to say anything instead he is just smiling cheekily, making Xiaoxi even more confused. What exactly does he want?

Rouzhen pulls her out of the jewelry store when she tries to explain more. He held her hand and she could feel the warmth from his palm. Her heart pounding rapidly in her ċhėst.

She hears people commenting about them when they see their hands intertwined. "He is the CEO of GU Corp, so handsome and caring. He is such a prince!"

"Yeah and the woman is so lucky to be with him. Having a wealthy man with an expensive car, she's indeed so lucky,"

"He is the richest man in this country. It must be great to be his girlfriend,"

"How I wish I am his woman!"

Xiaoxi blushes a bit, not knowing how to handle a situation like this. She feels shy and embarrassed because their situation was very complicated. She knew that Chairman Gu would not accept her to be Rouzhen's wife.

He buys her a ring after saying he loved her for a very long time and have been looking for her since the day she left him. She felt flattered the way Rouzhen's adored her. Indeed, he is a man every woman wanted.

She thought that she must be dreaming. Her life suddenly changed in a blink of an eye, when he came in. How could she express her love to him, it still remains a question in her mind.

Rouzhen noticed that she's been quiet for a while and he asks: "What's wrong? Don't you like our ring?"

She could feel her nervousness when she talks.

"I…" She stops for a while to look at him. "No, it's just that we won't be able to do our business when we are wearing this. People who look at it will probably think we are married,"

"Hahaha… so let it be" he can't help but laugh happily once he heard her words.

"What are you laughing at? Aren't you feel uncomfortable?" she thought that Rouzhen's laughing at her. She is blushing right away and feel shy to look at him.

"I said, '' You are my woman. We will be getting married soon once my father grants his approval to us! I find you adorable today!" He feels that she is so innocent and pure.

Rouzhen brings her to the salon to set her hair after they left at the jewelry shop. She refuses to do have it but Rouzhen forced her. She was so confused as to why he is doing it.

"Put a light makeup on her face and change her dress too," Rouzhen asks the stylist to find her a new set of clothes.

He can't forget how she breathtakingly looks beautiful when she had a whole body styling in Korea last time. He can't wait to see her again changing into a different wardrobe.

She was forced to change into the most modern sėxy dress after her hair and makeup finished. A short goat-fur cardigan matched with grey plushy shorts fit her sėxy body. She looks like a fallen angel and an obedient neighborhood girl at the same time, so delicate and beautiful in his eyes.

"Wear like this every day!" Rouzhen smiles and satisfied with what he had seen.

He loves her new image and she looks like a different person. The color of the dress suits her. Xiaoxi feels quite tired of his dominating actions. She felt so worn out today after her monthly period arrived. She is hoping to get home and rest soon but instead of staying at home, she was forced to come with him and do shopping.

Her stomach is seriously aching badly: "Rouzhen, I want to go home!"

She's wearing pretty clothes and three inches high heels and she doesn't even know how to walk properly having those shoes on her feet.

"Are you tired?" He asks in concern.

"Yes." Xiaoxi nodded: "I wanna go buy something. You wait in the car!" She quickly strides. She needs to buy sanitary pads. Rouzhen followed her.

"Baby, where are you going?" He asked.

"I need to buy personal items. Don't ask. I told you to wait for me in your car. Please?" She rushes to the department store and didn't wait for his reply.

He nodded thoughtfully and shouted at her: "I'll wait for you in my car. Don't take so long,"

Xiaoxi exits the mall after purchasing sanitary pads but she can't find Rouzhen anywhere. She looks around the parking area but his blue Bugatti is nowhere in sight.

"Where did he go?" She wonders where did Rouzhen go.

Xiaoxi fails to find him so she decided to take a bus at the corner of the mall instead. She only left him for a few minutes and told him to wait. Her mind was occupied by the thought of Rouzhen's whereabouts when the bus approaching near the bus station. Suddenly she was blocked by a group of young men.

"Wow, a beautiful woman taking a bus. Miss, you look so sėxy and fragile!" one of them whistles and said a rascal word.

She was frightened. A bunch of hooligans standing in front of her, she felt so nervous and don't know how to react. These men look young, she thought their age must be around nineteen. A group of young men that forming a gang along the street. She silently prayed Rouzhen would show up and protect her.

"Woman, what is your name?" one of the boys with hair dyed in red asks cunningly.

Xiaoxi was speechless. She retraces her steps and says patiently: "What are you guys doing here instead of studying? I'm in my thirties and I have two children, I'm not a young woman anymore!"

"You sure you know how to lie? Huh? You can't fool us! It sounds good to have a smart girl like you,"

"Your parents would feel sad if you guys continue idling around!" Xiaoxi believes they aren't bad boys and she could persuade them.

But one of the boys approaches and touches her face. Xiaoxi was shocked. "What are you doing?" she dodges.

"We like you so much, isn't it obvious? Would you like to be our girlfriend little girl?"

Xiaoxi stares at them dumbfounded. She starts to feel nervous. They must be more than just plain hooligans. She thought about the different morbid scenarios in her mind.

"Little girl, please be our girlfriend," The boys continue coming closer to her. She felt disgusted by their rascal tone. She was surrounded by them, leaving no space for her to escape. She began to start cursing Rouzhen silently. He is the one who made her change this kind of dress that exposed her sėxy body.

One of the boys attempts to kiss her cheek: "Come here, let me kiss you,"

She screams for help. She covers her face with the plastic bag in her hand.

"Don't scream! We just want you to be our girlfriend,"

Rouzhen had gone for a short period to top up gasoline but he couldn't find her. He drives his car slowly and checks the alley if he still could see her.

He saw Xiaoxi was surrounded by a bunch of teenagers the moment he gets closer to the bus station. He frowns and shouts: "Hey! What's going on here?!"

He sprints forward, cursing under his breath.

Xiaoxi heaves a sigh of relief as tears roll down her cheek like she's seen a savior. She is so happy seeing Rouzhen's standing behind the gangsters. "Rouzhen!"

The teenagers run away as soon as they saw him standing behind them.

"Finally, you came to save me," she ran into his arms. Rouzhen pulled her closer and comforts her instead of scolding her. He was so furious earlier when he couldn't find her. "Baby, are you okay? Hush, calm down it's okay now!"

She raised her head and said: "where did you go?"

"I just went to the gasoline station to top up my car. When I return I couldn't find you. You make me feel scared. What might happen if I didn't get here in time? They intended to harrassed you!" He scolded her softly.

"It's all your fault. You forced me to change into this sėxy dress that captures everyone's attention. No one would tease me when I wear simple clothes.

Xiaoxi hugs his neck tightly, her tears dripping continuously, seeping to his shirt, scorching his every nerve.

Rouzhen bends down to ċȧrėss her ear with his lips before moving to her neck.

Xiaoxi doesn't refuse and lets him kiss her lovingly.

"Are you scared?" Rouzhen presses his forehead against hers and asks quietly.

"Yes!" she says, her voice quivering because of fear. "Why are they misbehaving like that way when they're still so young?"

"Next time if we go out, can you please patiently wait for me when you can't find me? Or maybe call me first before you leave," he said in a gentle voice. She nibbles at her lip and didn't answer.

"Answer me!" he frowns and waits for her response.

"I will!" she promised. She remains so scared. "I thought you left because I can't find you in the parking area!"

He sealed her mouth with his kiss and carries her towards his car.
