The Cage Of The Past

Two of them came over and they were from ASIA. Rouzhen knew that only a few Asian people like him would come to this casino to play. They were not burly as Westerners, but they were slender and straight. Wearing a black and white suit that fits with their black hair and black eyes, give a handsome aura. They were approaching the casino private room entrance and capturing other people's attention.

"Who are they?" someone asked.

No one answered.

They looked sharply to those who are looking at them, an arrogant smile shown in their faces while heading to the private room.

Rouzhen noticed that the private room with several hundred square meters wide was gorgeously designed. A large row of champagne wine was placed next to the wine cabinet. An expensive carpet and several waiters and two private ladies are waiting for them.

A few meters away is the long gambling table. Rouzhen silently sitting face to face with Winston. He sat at the end of the gambling table, igniting a cigarette on his hand. His sight crosses the two Caucasian men who just arrived too.

"Rou Rou, someone wanted to have a one on one play with you. Would you like to accept it?" Winston ask.

"Okay, deal!" he quickly said.

One Caucasian man sits in front of him, about thirty years old with a cigarette in his hand, staring at him.

"Mr. Gu, care to have a short game with you?" the man asked.

"Sure!"

A couple of minutes passed by they started the game. Rouzhen silently observing the man in front of him.

Suddenly the man smiled arrogantly and said, "Mr. Gu, I think I will win this game, "King pairs!" The man thinks he has won because he had King pairs in his position.

Rouzhen did not answer but instead show his card. Elegantly throw it on the table. He looks straight to the man's eyes. "My luck favors me this time... I win!". The man couldn't believe that Rouzhen is so lucky. Rouzhen's card was black and red ace, higher than his opponent. The man thought that Rouzhen had no experience at all and without exerting an effort he could win over him.

"This game, Mr. Gu won!" The dealer said. Quickly gathered all the chips and push in front of Rouzhen.

Winston smiled arrogantly and said, "Rou Rou, you still the iron man I admired the most,"

"Save all your admiration, we still have long hours to play!" Rouzhen replied.

The Caucasian's face was not happy. He thought that Rouzhen got a one time luck. As the game continues, Rouzhen won.

"Mr. Gu you are such a good player, I admire you this time!" The man narrowed his eyes sharply at Rouzhen.

Rouzhen casually smiles, his eyes were equally sharp and full of consideration, " Would you still want to continue this game?"

"Of course!" The man quickly answered as he wanted to win back all the money he loses.

Rouzhen smiled faintly, "I advise you to end this game because you could never win over me!" He said and intentionally stopped.

Rouzhen's words sound arrogant and the people around them were stunned when they heard it, "Mr. Gu, you sound so arrogant, either I win or lose over you, I will not allow you to leave!"

Rouzhen Gu raised his handsome face, a pair of eagle eyes swept through the man in front of him, "My luck favored me will today. I don't want to play anymore!"

The Caucasian man laughs hysterically, "Mr. Gu, you are afraid you can't afford to lose in the next set of the game!"

"Hahaha, is that so? I think it is you who can't afford to continue this game!" Rouzhen frowned immediately.

"Say how much you want to play? 10 million dollars?" The Caucasian man bought another chip.

"Too small amount. How about 50 million dollars, one round play?" Rouzhen said and look at the man seriously.

He swept his watch on his hand. It's been fifteen minutes gone. The man didn't answer him. Winston feels a bit nervous because the atmosphere inside the private room becomes dangerous.

"Forget it, you better don't play anymore. You can't afford it!" Rouzhen Gu smiled and stood immediately.

The man was provoked by Rouzhen's contemptuous attitude. "Mr. Gu, I will accept one round game of 50 million dollars, let's do it!"

"One round? I don't have time now! Fifteen minutes have gone but you answered late," Rouzhen said confidently. He didn't want to continue to gamble because he had won a huge amount already. His opponent was too boring as he thought.

The Caucasian covered two cards in his hand, narrowed his eyes then open his two-card revealing it with a proud smile.

Rouzhen smiled faintly, his eyes were full of exhilarating confidence and he was not in a hurry to open his card, he let the dealer began to deal the third card.

His opponent got a higher card than him but luck played in favor of him therefore he got another chance to win.

Another set of cards had been dealt and the Caucasian's face was a little proud and his thoughts ran towards the 50 million dollars that might belong to him.

Rouzhen did not change his expression and he was aggressive this time. He lazily leaned back his body and looked at his opponent. His eyes flashed a touch of impatience. After ten minutes his act becomes slower than a turtle.

The dealer dealt another card. The Caucasian had a King spade. He got four straight spades in his hand. Rouzhen Gu got 4 straight heart cards. At this moment they both waiting for the last card.

The Caucasian couldn't wait and yelled to the dealer, "Come on, hurry up! Deal it faster!"

The dealer deals the last card and the Caucasian man had a diamond 9 card and it was almost a straight flush.

Rouzhen Gu got a heart card of 5 which means that if the unopened card is a heart A, he will win, if not it will be his opponent could win the chip.

The tension built around the private room. His opponent was so dignified while looking at him. Rouzhen Gu smiled faintly, slamming and open his card. "I won!"

He stood immediately and thrown out one sentence. "Winston, collect the chips and exchange it into dollars!"

Everyone saw Rouzhen's card and it was the straight heart. He plays lightly and won 50 million dollars.

At this time, Winston came behind Rouzhen and collected the Caucasian chips.

"No! Mr. Gu, I still want to continue another set of games. Sit down and don't turn your back on me!" The man can't admit his defeat, "I still want to bet, you can't leave!"

Rouzhen signaled a few bodyguards to forward to block the Caucasia man. Rouzhen turned elegantly and dropped a word. "Winston, I will wait for you at the parking lot after you collect all the chips,"

Rouzhen left immediately at the private room, while his opponent was so angry and clenched his fist. Arriving at the parking lot, the bodyguard open the RV when he saw Rouzhen's coming.

After a few minutes, Winstons rushing towards him. "You are three minutes late, but I will consider it this time since I know you're busy collecting all the chips we won!" Rouzhen said.

"Rou Rou, you still undefeated. Let's go! I'm rushing for the plane!" Winston told him.

"Where do you go?" Rouzhen Gu raised his eyebrows. "I just came for the vacation, then you are going to leave?"

"I will send you back home then I will be back here in Miami. I am so concerned about your company," Winston narrows his eyes and flashes a smile.

"Dad is in good health, there is no need for me to work for GU Corp. He even kicked me out. I help him to run his business because I thought he would have Alzheimer's, but looking at him right after he kicked me, why do you think it's necessary to come back soon?" Rouzhen Gu said faintly and suddenly he asked Winston seriously.

Winston becomes silent. He handed a cigarette to Rouzhen. Two of them just smoke and no one dares to talk. Winston's gaze looked far away but didn't talk to Rouzhen for a couple of minutes.

Rouzhen Gu frowned, looked at his phone and he slowly stretched and his eyes flashed a touch of tenderness. This scene did not escape from Winston's sharp eyes. He had a moment of surprise when noticing Rouzhen sudden changed. This is the first time he saw his friend looks so happy.

At the moment, Rouzhen Gu pressed the answer buŧŧon and whispered: "Honey, why you call?"

"Rouzhen, our son was picked up by your father!" Xiaoxi Chen cried immediately as she told Rouzhen the bad news. "He said that he would not let me see our son, please talk to him, I can't lose my son!"

Hearing her sobbing, Rouzhen Gu felt sad. "When did this happen?"

"Uh! It has been more than 20 hours. He transferred Han to another school. I have tried to check more than 30 kindergartens but I can't find our son. Rouzhen, I am so worried. Please come home!"

"Where are you now?" He asked gently. If he didn't guess wrong, the local time in ASIA was already midnight.

"I am at home!" Xiaoxi Cen said in tears, "Please, come home. I can't find Han. I am so stressed!"

"Stay at home and don't go anywhere, wait for me. I will settle things out when I arrive!" Rouzhen Gu softly comforted her.

Winston looked at him then asked, "What happened?"

"Nothing!" A faint smile makes a way into his handsome face.

Xiaoxi is still restless at her home. She leaned on the sofa and put down the phone. Her heart feels better when she heard that Rouzhen will be coming back home. She's at ease when Rouzhen ȧssured her that he would settle the problem. Today, she was exhausted. Looking for her child all day long and taking back Chao at home, made her feel so drained.

"Mommy, please drink some water!" Chao rubbing his eyes and help Xiaoxi pour a cup of water.

"Thank you, Chao!" Xiaoxi Chen took the cup and look at Chao with guilt. She didn't cook for him tonight and just bought some food for the two of them.

"Mommy, go sleep first, Han is okay. He was just being picked up by his grandfather, not by the bad guys when uncle comes back, everything will be okay!" Chao tried to comfort her.

Chao saw Xiaoxi so sad. His little face had huge sympathy for her Mom.

He was thinking about his biological parents if would be like her Mom. So anxious when he will be gone. Thinking that he was abandoned, a pang of sadness cross into his heart.

"Baby, Mommy is okay. Uncle Rouzhen will come back soon. You better sleep first!" Xiaoxi patted his face.

"Okay! Mommy good night!" Chao quickly nodded, a lonely smile flashed on his little face. When Xiaoxi saw Chao's expression she was then again driven into a distraction. She knew that she equally loves her two children.

"Mommy only want Han?" Chao asked himself when he got into his room.

He sat down in his bed. He still thinking about the situation. "Han is Mommy's child. Why does Han's grandfather hide him and restrict Mommy to see his son? I will find out tomorrow. I should help Mommy find Han! That old man doesn't have the right to hide my little brother!"

Chao quickly jumps off his bed and turned on his computer. Checked the location of the Gu mansion and marked it on the map and printed it immediately. Tomorrow he pledges to find Han's grandfather to negotiate and help his Mommy to get back Han.

When everything was done, he goes back to his bed and sleep.

The next day Xiaoxi Chen saw the note left by Chao which written: "Mommy I am going to help you find Han. I took some money from your purse, wait for me back with my little brother!"

"God! Where did he go to find Han?" Xiaoxi Chen was flustered and her face turned pale. "What if Chao lost?" She's in panic and ran out to find her child without even washing her face.

Gu Mansion.

Chao goes down from the taxi after he paid the driver. "Uncle, thank you!"

The driver was worried and said: "Little boy are you sure that this is the exact address? And who are you looking for?"

"My little brother and his grandfather!" Chao quickly answered.

"This is an exclusive place for rich people. Usually, only a few cars are coming here," the driver said again.

"Yes, uncle this is the exact address. Don't worry I am confident that someone will send me back later!" He winked at the driver and wave his tiny hand.

"Uh! Well, uncle will be leaving now!" The driver quickly disappeared.

Chao stood in front of Gu Mansion. His tiny face looked at the huge mansion with confidence. The guard noticed his appearance in front of the main gate. He called Chao's attention and asked, "Little boy, who are you looking for?"
