The Cage Of The Past

She only cares about her feelings, her conscience is not condemned, but she has never really thought about Han! She is not a competent mother, she has never been.

"Miss Chen, I understand that a mother has lost the heart of her child, but the successor of the GU family is to accept a harsh blow to become a better person. Rouzhen has no mother since birth, he grows into a great man and my grandson can also do the same. So, Miss Chen, do you understand my words?" Lui Gu's voice is cold and dull keep lingering in her mind.

Xiaoxi bowed her head, tears filled her eyes but it didn't fall. She did not speak but at the bottom of her heart, she felt pain like there are a thousand knives dug on it. She almost could not breathe.

"Rouzhen, I want to leave!" she said immediately. She turned to make a move but Rouzhen grabbed her back. They attract onlookers' attention this time.

Xiaoxi was blocked by his tall body and he did not pay attention to those curious eyes of other people around them. Rouzhen reached out and held her chin. And they both became silent for a couple of minutes. He gritted his teeth and asked, "Why do you want to escape?"

She stared at him, her eyes blurred with tears and he found that he had been separated for less than a week but it seems like a month. He longed for her kiss and hug. His heart was somewhat felt lonely. This naive woman makes him go crazy all the time, her beauty is exceptional in his eyes. He couldn't afford to let her go.

Xiaoxi's heart feels simple happiness when he felt his warm touch. Her injured feelings become at ease with him around. No matter how painful she felt from Chairman Gu's words, she still can't forget Rouzhen.

She looked at him so faintly and said, "I am tired, the life of the city is not suitable for me!"

When she heard that she was powerless, Rouzhen's heart felt pain and he tightly hugged her. He refused to let her go. Perhaps it is too hard to convince her, he quickly kissed Xiaoxi's lips and ignored people around them.

However, Xiaoxi can't risk anymore. She can't let herself sink in, she wants to leave him, leave Han and forget them.

He is the CEO of GU Corp and even if Chairman Gu kicked him out, she knew it was only temporary. Rouzhen still the heir of the big conglomerate. A woman like her can't stay with him. Winston who silently observing them, got shocked when he saw Rouzhen held a woman in his arms and kissed her in public. Winston blinks his eyes several times.

Chao turned his head and looked at Winston and smiled, "Uncle is good!"

"Hey!" Winston looked at the young boy standing beside him. He saw this little boy when they approach the woman Rouzhen has been chasing. He was surprised when he stares the tiny face of a smart kid, "He looks like Rou Rou! He is quite vibrant and active!" Winston thought.

"Kid, introduce yourself!" Winston squatted down.

"Uncle, you look so handsome!" Chao sincerely praises him. He thought that this uncle in front of him is cool and handsome enough. Chao knew he was Rouzhen's friend.

"I am Chao Chen! You can call me Chao!" he answered quickly.

"I see! You are the son of that woman?" he asked.

"Yes!"

Suddenly Rouzhen's voice yelled loudly. "Damn! Tell me what is going on?"

Xiaoxi didn't talk, just let his anger released. Rouzhen felt bad because of her reaction.

"Did I done something wrong to you?" He asks angrily.

"No!" she said.

"Then why are you leaving?"

She answered differently, "This will be a farewell kiss!" She then tiptoed and kiss his lips.

"Damn!" Rouzhen cursed. He was going crazy and her tone of talking to him annoyed him.

"Rou Rou, don't you want to introduce her?" Suddenly Winston's low voice behind came in. With a playful tone but he seems so very excited.

Rouzhen turn around and Xiaoxi sees a handsome guy approaching them with a playful smile on his face.

Rouzhen harshly said: "It's none of your business!"

Xiaoxi saw that he was very eager to catch Rouzhen's attention. The man's aura was full of arrogance like Rouzhen, even if he smiled at her. His white suit was quite clean. His thick black hair covered his forehead and eyebrows slightly raised. At a simple glance, she knew that this man has the same attitude of Rouzhen, a bad temper.

His mouth is full of playful smiles, a pair of good-looking narrow eyes sharply look on Xiaoxi. His eyes seem to be casual but the sharpness he looks at her an indication that he is observing her. As if he is appreciating someone and thinking deep if she would be fit for his friend.

Xiaoxi bowed her head and didn't dare to look at him again and faintly said, "Chao, come here! We should go!"

Rouzhen glanced at her seriously. She felt afraid but they have to leave. They saw each other already and they kissed at once.

Winston suddenly smiled and outburst his comment, "Rou Rou, you sealed a passionate kiss a while ago but it seems your technique doesn't work. Try another one so she'll stay with you!" He then winked at him.

Rouzhen's face changed and he blushed. He pulled Xiaoxi's hand tightly.

"You can't run away. You wanna try me? I will make you stay!" he warns her. "Chao, let this uncle take you back at my home. He will live in my house for a couple of days to take care of you. I need to take your Mommy somewhere else!" Rouzhen said.

"Rou Rou, are you making me a nanny of this little child? Are you crazy? I don't know how to handle this little devil!" Winston said.

"Dare to complain again, I will make you turn to ash, man!" He said seriously.

"Uh! Okay, you're the boss!" Winston quickly answered.

"Rouzhen, let me go!" Xiaoxi was embarrassed. And in a low voice, he tried to stop Rouzhen and pulled back her hand.

"No! You will be staying with me!" He roared.

"What about my son! Chao should be at school!" she argued.

"Mommy, I am going to be a guest with this uncle at Uncle Rouzhen's house. Don't worry, I can go to school with him. You can rest ȧssured, I will behave myself!" Chao convinces her. He is not afraid of this Uncle and he looks up at Winston. "Let's go, uncle, Uncle Rouzhen said that I will be staying at his house with you!"

Winston held Chao's hand and walk towards the exit door. "Kid, Rou Rou is your father?" Winston asked abruptly as his instinct thought that this child is the son of Rouzhen.

"No! He is not my father. Han is the son of Uncle Rouzhen. I am not his son!" Chao explained.

Slightly surprised, Winston did not say anything but imagine Rouzhen's face.

Rouzhen's eyes narrowed at Winston and Chao who is now walking towards the exit door. He dragged Xiaoxi quickly, regardless of the people's curious looks. They went straight to the elevator.

"Let me go, Rouzhen. I want to go back to the countryside. Let me go, please?" Xiaoxi couldn't calm down anymore. He was kneeling on his shoulders, his head down. She patted his thick back but Rouzhen ignored her and continue holding her hand tightly.

"If you don't want to be spanked, be honest!" His voice was full of authority.

Quickly he patted her little hɨps and Xiaoxi screamed immediately. "Ah---are you crazy?"

After what he did, Xiaoxi did not dare to struggle again. They walked out of the airport and went straight to his car.

Winston glanced them back when they both reached at the parking area. Winston and the bodyguards behind him are all stunned. They couldn't believe that a cold man like Rouzhen would chase a woman.

Chao just laughed and said," Uncle let's go!"

At Rouzhen's car, he quickly wrinkled his eyebrows and ask, "Tell me, what the hell is going on?"

"Have nothing to say!" she snapped at him.

"The old man looked for you, is it?" He asked.

"No, no!" She quickly denied it because she doesn't want to make him worry. She knew that Rouzhen grew up without a mother. All the truth mentioned by Chairman Gu, keep coming back into her mind. She can't sacrifice Rouzhen and Han for her good.

"Nothing? Then why are you running away from me?" He leaned over and looked into her eyes.

"We are not meant for each other!" She whispered and began to push him.

Rouzhen blinked and said, "You can only be my woman, no other can replace you. You can stay with me wherever I go! Hear it?"

His usual arrogant words made Xiaoxi's heart move.

He looked down at her and saw her head drop. Her eyes seemed to be a little sad, wearing a helpless look. He ġrȯȧnėd instantly when the white skin on her ċhėst shown through the neckline of her clothes.

Such a beautiful woman, let him feel itchy, something broke through his pants! "Is your guest gone?" He suddenly asked.

She didn't respond for a moment but when his words sink in, into her mind. "Hey! What are you saying?"

"I asked if your monthly guest was gone. It seems like a week! Is it?" He figured it out.

"Pervert! How could you change the topic immediately? We talk about a serious matter and here you are thinking something naughty?" she snapped at him.

"Hahaha! I miss you! I can't let you go! Only by making such kind of naughtiness could make you stay!" He laughed loudly and pulled her closer to him.

She blushed. This demon doesn't care about their current situation. What would be his plan when he knew his father warned her? His eyes are getting deeper and deeper, she is more at a loss. She slowly moves back and trying to avoid him.

"You didn't answer me! Is it gone?" He asked again, suddenly raising his lips, leaning closer to her and quickly kissed her soft lips.

Her eyes were as clear as deer and she slowly closes them in amazement. She has taken out by him but they are still in the parking area inside his car.

"Oh… let me go!" she said beneath their lips.

"Ha! Okay, let's go home!" He seemed to be in a good mood. He let go of her but stared at her again, he warned her: "The next time you run away, I will bring Han with me to find you. If you think you can bear to see us both suffered then do it!"

"Are you out of your mind? Why you are going to involve our son with your craziness?" she yelled at him.

"So behave! Don't challenge my patience!"

She went silent. She couldn't afford to go against him. And she knew he loved this man deeply. However, she thought she was not qualified to stay beside him as his woman. Xiaoxi's heart is a bit sour. There was a bit of awkwardness in her eyes and he lowered her head and let everything comes along their way.

Villa number 15…

Xiaoxi was taken by him to the villa number 15.

"Rouzhen, let me go!" She whispered. "I wanted to have a quiet life!"

If she goes in this way, she wants to collapse. She can't afford to sacrifice Han. She was happy that she was able to meet him. For the sake of her son, everything that is good for her son, she's willing to do. She agreed to Chairman Gu's words, and she knows the old man will make Rouzhen suffer if she will stay beside him.

Rouzhen walked into her, and the fresh fragrance of soap on her body began to hang on him, letting him tighten his breathing.

She quickly drops her head but she couldn't wait for him to answer her.

"Honey look at me!" He whispered.

She was asked to look at him. She wanted to hide from him and continue her life away from him. Now that Rouzhen caught him, she realized that she can't run away from him. His large palm stretched out to hold her waist and took her into his arms. "I have been with you, you can't leave me! Why are you so disobedient?" He snapped at her.

Rouzhen's tone is so warm.

Xiaoxi felt wronged. Her face suddenly blushed. Their bodies were close together, tightly held by him. So close that his breath almost suffocated her. She felt his lower body reaction was a bit strong.

He put his chin on her shoulder. "I am tied to you for the rest of your life, you can't escape, don't you want to see Han?"

He asked quietly.

She went silent and don't know how to explain. His wide ċhėst gives soothing warm but she knows that this man could only belong to someone fit to be his wife. She can only rely on him for the time being. The hostess of the GU Family should be a gentle and virtuous woman, not her who is just an ordinary woman.

Chairman Gu said that the woman who just only a surrogate mother is not qualified to be a mother of his grandchild. Even if Rouzhen will fight against him, he can't accept her.

"Rouzhen, let me go! Really! I don't want to talk to about our son!" Her voice was low and the pang of pain came across her heart.

Rouzhen stared at her. This stubborn woman pissed him off. It was the first time that he saw how powerless she is. He thought that she did not deserve to be humiliated. "I know you worry about that old man. I know he talked to you, isn't it?"

He knew his father has made concessions and will not let Xiaoxi enter the door of their villa. He knows his father wanted to find a stepmother for Han. He would rather not have a wife nor accept any woman to be a stepmother for his son!

Xiaoxi's silence confirmed his suspicion.

"He talked to you!" Rouzhen finally concluded.

"No! He hasn't talked to me!" She lied to him. She didn't want to be the reason behind the quarrel of Rouzhen and Chairman Gu. And she decided to stay away from him.

"Liar! You can't fool me!" Rouzhen raised his lips and seemed to be very satisfied with her words. His kiss began to invade her neck, making her body stiff and trembling.

She tickles backward and he slams her to prevent her from retreating.

The light kisses down, depicting her beautiful clavicle curve and his finger cleverly finds the buŧŧon of her clothes, and quickly unbutton it.

"Don't…" she whispered, her voice as a refusal and an invitation for him, even though she didn't think she would make such a sound like a behave wild cat.

Her thoughts are messy because she doesn't know what to do.

Rouzhen did not let her go, Old GU words were very reasonable but he is also a stubborn son. He was so inferior, not so powerful but he will go against his father for Xiaoxi.

Both hands of him quickly supported her unstable body from behind. "Don't go and run away from me, everything is under my control just trust me!"

Xiaoxi's body was stiff and suppressed pain broke out in an instant, and she fell into his arms. Her hands clasped Rouzhen's clothes tightly and the tears of forbearance fell silently from her eyes and it ran down on Rouzhen's shoulder.

"It's okay! Honey, I am here!" He saw her crying again. Rouzhen only felt that her heart was severely torn. He quickly kept patted Xiaoxi trembling back. The low and gentle voice told her, "Honey, it's okay! I will be here for you! Look at me! I will fight for you!"
