The Cage Of The Past

After sending Chao to school, Rouzhen Gu brings Xiaoxi Chen to Hokkaido. The two were conspicuous as they walked out of the airport lobby.

Rouzhen Gu's tall and straight figure that coupled with the kind of momentum spread out from his whole body is enough to make people look unceasingly, especially the woman. Xiaoxi Chen sighed once; many have said that the most beautiful women are dangerous; in fact, if the man is handsome, it will cause much more danger.

The handsome guy beside her has attracted the attention of countless women. On the plane, how many women's eyes were like a knife eager to cut her while they are staring at them. Xiaoxi thought those women must be very jealous of why such an ordinary girl like her could sit beside of Rouzhen Gu.

Off the plane, Rouzhen Gu even attracted the attention of Japanese women while they walked out of the airport. Rouzhen suddenly glanced at the woman next to them.

"What's wrong?" She couldn't keep up with him.

"I saw Jenny Smith!" Rouzhen Gu murmured to her. His eyes did not leave the two figures in front of them. Rouzhen followed them while holding her hand. "Xiaoxi, look it's Jenny with the other man,"

Xiaoxi followed his gaze and was suddenly surprised when she saw Jenny and the old man who picked her up the other day. "Seem to be yesterday it was the man who picked her up at Weicheng's restaurant,"

"Go and say hello!" Rouzhen took Xiaoxi's hand while his other hand was holding their luggage and then went straight to Jenny Smith's side.

"Why are you here?" Jenny Smith immediately asked when she saw Rouzhen and Xiaoxi standing beside them. She was in a panic as of the moment, and her voice was full of bitterness.

Rouzhen Gu eyes swept the man beside Jenny. He stares at him seriously. The old man looks like Zion Ni. He totally resembled Zion's Uncle named Wilson Ni.

"Who is he?" Rouzhen silently thought. He was looking at the man intently Rouzhen glance at Xiaoxi. The man had a huge similarity to her.

The man's eyes sharply stare back at Rouzhen's face. He glanced at the woman next to the guy, for him, she reminds of someone in his past. They quietly observe each other but no one dares to ask. Rouzhen can't be wronged, and he definitely thinks that the middle-aged man resembled Wilson Ni.

If he hadn't been able to meet Uncle Wilson before, Rouzhen Gu must think that this person is Zion's father.

"Jenny, don't you want to introduce us?" Looking at Rouzhen and Xiaoxi, the man picks his eyebrow while his eyes are on Xiaoxi's face.

That kind of look makes Rouzhen Gu very uncomfortable. He possessively takes Xiaoxi's hand like he is announcing his ownership to her.

Xiaoxi Chen was shocked by Rouzhen's reaction. Looking at the old man, he thought he looked like Zion. But judging by age is he nearly fifty? Why did he resemble Zion a lot, and how could he be with Jenny?

Jenny Smith helplessly introduces him, "Mr. Romano, this is GU Corp CEO, Rouzhen Gu, and the beautiful woman beside him is Xiaoxi Chen. Rouzhen, Xiaoxi, this is my friend Franco Romano!"

With that, Jeny Smith quickly drops her head. Her face was a little pale, and Xiaoxi Chen noticed her reaction. She worriedly asked, "Sister Jenny, are you alright? Why are you so pale?"

"Nothing!" Jenny Smith shook her head, and her mouth opened with a tone of bitterness, "I'm fine, maybe a little tired!"

"Miss Chen is very beautiful," Franco Romano said, a smile flapping from his lips. "Mr. Gu is so lucky!"

Xiaoxi Chen was stupefied for a while; she turned her head and glanced at Rouzhen beside her. He saw Rouzhen's jaw clenched while staring at Franco with an unfathomable face. She knew how possessive Rouzhen was, and she felt shivered thinking about it.

"Mr. Romano, let's go, do not disturb the two of them!" Jenny Smith seemed to be nervous and wanted to leave quickly.

Rouzhen Gu nodded, "Xiaoxi, let's leave now. Mr. Romano, she is my wife, I just wanna tell you the truth. Goodbye!"

Xiaoxi was shocked when she heard what Rouzhen's had told Mr. Franco Romano but did not dare to go against Rouzhen because she knew Rouzhen's attitude. They walked away immediately.

When they left, Franco Romano's eyes still followed them. Thoughtfully he murmured, "Xiaoxi Chen, Xiaoxi Chen, what a good name. The man shows his possessiveness!"

Jenny Smith was shocked and said tensely: "Stop thinking about her, don't you hear what Rouzhen's told us? She is his wife. She is a simple girl so leave her behind,"

"You sound so protective to her. I know she's simple yet so beautiful!" Franco Romano said, and his lips are full of playfulness.

"Franco Romano!" Jenny Smith's tone sank.

"Oh! Good Jenny, why would I be interested in other people's women? I just admired Xiaoxi's prettiness, like you six years ago, so quiet, so fragile and so beautiful!" Franco said while looking far away as if he were remembering someone in the past. He can't forget how the woman he loved in the past makes his heart sink. His heart suddenly felt pain, remembering his sad memory.

The man looks back at her. His eyes fell on Jenny Smith, laughing and holding her hand. "Let's go. I know you're a bit tired!"

Jenny Smith struggled, but he clasps her waist tightly. "Don't provoke me or else you know the consequences. Remember, your ex-fiance Weicheng's future is in my hand,"

He threatened Jenny, which made her shivered. She gives up struggling when she heard what he said. And she silently followed him.

Rouzhen and Xiaoxi got into a black car waiting for them outside the airport. She thought that Jenny and the old man were lovers. Rouzhen is looking at her sharply, and his jealousy can be seen.

"Sister Smith and that Mr. Romano seems to have an unusual relationship!" Xiaoxi sighed. "Is that the reason why Brother Weicheng and Sister Jenny can't be together anymore?"

"Don't tell Weicheng that we saw them. It will hurt him more!" Rouzhen Gu said in a heavy tone. He felt sad for his friend.

"Oh!" Xiaoxi nodded. She thought if she told Weicheng about the airport encounter with Jenny, she's afraid it will cause him upset.

She can't imagine how Jenny could be into a relationship with an older man.

Looking at Xiaoxi that is still in deep thought about other people's problems, Rouzhen stretches his hand and held her in his arms. "Don't think about other people's problems; they are not significant to us. I won't allow you to think of other people except me,"

His domineering tone surprised Xiaoxi even though she knew that this man has this kind of attitude. She smiled at him sweetly and said, "You act like a jealous kid, so cute!"

"Why are you laughing at me?" Rouzhen complained. "Don't laugh so silly at your husband. And never disregard my warning!"

His tone is giving her a final warning. Staring at her beautiful face makes him feel so in love with her. In Rouzhen's eyes, she looks so elegant yet simple. The woman he dreamed of being with for the rest of his life — the mother of his son.

"You want me to cry?" She asked naughtily, trying to provoke him.

He was shocked by the way she answered him. His mouth pursed and suddenly formed into a smirk, and his eyes lit up with so much dėsɨrė while looking at her. "Nice try, little wife. Dare to provoke your husband, huh? Wait until we arrive at our accommodation. I will give you a severe punishment that you won't forget!" He whispered into her ear.

She blushed immediately but managed to ignore what he said. "Rou Rou, don't you think it's strange? Sister Jenny does not want us to know her relationship with that Mr. Romano, have you seen her face? She suddenly became pale,"

When Rouzhen heard her talking about other people's things again, his big hand tightened, Xiaoxi was a little stiff, and she peeped at the other side of the car.

He whispered in her ear, his chin resting on her shoulder, "Honey, you must only think of me, not other people. We went to Hokkaido to enjoy our vacation not to be bothered by other people's concern,"

Xiaoxi went silent. She looked outside the car window and the weather of autumn breeze gave calm and the maple leaf sets off and the autumn scenery makes her feel happy. She turned her eyes to look at him and said, "No wonder people like to travel here because it's really a beautiful place,"

"Hahaha! You are so cute. I love you!" Rouzhen Gu grabbed her waist immediately and kissed her lips without hesitation.

She was shocked at the same time and felt shy when the driver looked at them through the front mirror while they're at the back seat. She lowered her head, and her facial expression turned like a red tomato.

Xiaoxi leans on the bosom of Rouzhen Gu, looking ahead at the endless road while her whole senses felt happy and relaxed.

Just that, there is a touch of sadness at the bottom of her heart that she doesn't know where does it come from? She always felt that this kind of happiness was concise, and it made her think that everything is just a part of her illusion.

"What are you thinking?" He asked in a lower voice.

"Nothing!" she shook her head, a flicker of discomfort oppressed her soul. He was not going to let her go, and his hand pressed tightly on her waist.

She had to let out her insecurities. "I always feel that these days of happiness like stepping on the cloud seems so short. I don't know when I will fall down this happiness is always fleeting and not real,"

"You feel insecure?" When he asked, it seemed to hit him too. "Honey, let's have another child, please? This time, I'm here with you to accompany you when you give birth. Let's build a happy family," He begged her earnestly.

She lifted her eyes to him, and, unable to say what she felt, it gives her uneasiness thinking about their future. They looked at each other, and a thousand words were unspoken.

"I know, I'm the person who doesn't like to have a commitment before, but when you came into my life five years ago, I felt something would change in the future. I can't forget your face, your scent, and your screaming the night we spent together at my villa," He held her hands and tears fell down in his eyes.

She was surprised. No words come out of her mouth. She now heard Rouzhen's confession, and she can't believe he suffered so much for the past five years.

Five years ago, she accepted his contract to be a surrogate mother of his heir. That night, her thoughts were filled with her mother's situation. She had no feelings for him and this man had taken her innocence mercilessly. She never thought she'd get pregnant and have Han afterward, but then again, he came in and took away their son. He was leaving her at lost and in agony.

She stared at him, and she lifted her hand to wipe his tears.

"Hey, I promise I will never leave you anymore?" She said and smiled at him.

Rouzhen Gu held her close, reverently, and enthusiastically. They snuggle, hugging each other, and love in their eyes was screaming. Everything is perfect. How Xiaoxi Chen wished that time wouldn't stop because it feels good to be together like this.

Rouzhen Gu took her to different places in Hokkaido for the whole week. Xiaoxi liked the quiet scenery, and everything was so memorable.

"Shall we go back?" She said,

It's been a week. She's so worried about their children. He took her into his arms. "Let's spend another two days. Honestly, I don't want to go back immediately. In this place, there is no noise, no journalists, no work, just leisure," He can't even remember how long it's been he enjoyed this kind of leisure and being with her.

"But, I said I am sick worried about our children!" She whispered in his ears.

"Are you in a crisis period?" He asked suddenly.

"What?" she was confused.

"I mean ovulation period, is it?" He opened his mouth with a smile and calculated immediately in his mind as if it is a perfect time, and she would have a baby in her tummy if he worked hard these days.

"Rouzhen Gu!" Xiaoxi screamed. The whole time they were together he has been talking about pregnancy, almost every day he is counting. Yes, he is right, these days are her crisis period, but she does not want to have a child soon because she can't give him a child until they get married.

"I don't want it!"

"Don't you dare!" He muttered threats. "If you dare to not have a baby with me, you can stay out of bed for three days, let's see how long you can stand on it,"

"You are shameless!" she exclaimed.

"Yes, I am so shameless. But I want to have a beautiful baby girl!" He winked at her. He smiled evilly and rushed over to her.

Xiaoxi struggled to hide inside the duvet. He gave a little laugh and then grabbed the duvet and threw it away. Teasing her immediately and began to seduce her through his kiss, "Let's work hard. Have a daughter, have a daughter!"

She thought he must be crazy and forcing her to give another child. A daughter, as he said.

She blushed immediately. He looked at her pretty face, it seemed like a red apple, and he couldn't resist her charm while kissing her. Rouzhen Gu opened his mouth playfully and began to stipped her dress away.

She wanted to scream, but Rouzhen's mouth blocked hers. He bit her lips and whispered, "Are you shy? Are you still shy after so many nights we've done it?"

"Go away!" She said in a low voice and it was so faintly. Xiaoxi knew that Rouzhen wouldn't let her go. She was in a mess, and she can't resist his seduction. He badly slid his tongue into her mouth. After that, he gently licked her neck and collarbone down to her lower body.
