Chapter 7: It won’t be an easy death
The feelings I currently had were nothing but hypocrisy. I was only getting angry because I recovered my memories of living in Japan.
That is how peaceful Japan was, while this world is far too harsh on the weak.
I still want them to live happily, but that doesn’t mean I will change my original plan to raise them as my guards from the beginning. No matter how much I improve the environment, it will still be hypocritical.
Still, I look at them, thinking, ‘At least I won’t let them feel hungry and have a hard time,’ as I couldn’t distinguish their gender with bodies that were just skin and bones.
“You guys just sit tight while I switch out the hot water.”
While replacing the hot water in the pool that had instantly turned black, I swore at God, who may or may not be there, that they should’ve at least given me [Clean], a typical skill for otherworldly reincarnations that I hadn’t even acquired during my gaming days.
The slaves were of various races. There were elves that had their long ears cut off, dragonoids missing their tails, and many others missing parts that distinguished their races from one another.
As the girls finished washing their bodies, I applied recovery magic while trying not to look at them as much as possible.
By restoring the missing parts to their original state, I was finally able to realize that they were from different species.
I was convinced that I got exceptional slaves from that cunning old man.
In case you were wondering, the girl I thought was a boy I first washed was actually a dwarf and apparently an adult.
So I am neither a lolicon nor a criminal, you understand?

[POV Change]
“You’re telling me you lost that trash of a son? Someone like you?”
“I am sorry, Master. I was able to track Kaisar to the point where he bought the slaves and drove his carriage toward the forest, but from there, as if by magic, I lost sight of him and his carriage. It was impossible for the carriage to go through the forest, so instead, I searched for him on the road to the next town, but I could not find a single trace of him.”
As I listened to the maid that had lost track of Kaisar, I felt like lashing out at her but kept my composure.
This maid is so skilled that she has never failed in an assassination.
Would such a person lose sight of that trash of a child, Kaisar?
No, she can’t.
Despite this, how she has actually lost sight of him makes me feel uneasy.
She was a human being and could have made a mistake or two, but the slaves were malnourished. For the speed of a wagon with seven people to be fast enough for her to lose sight… How is that possible?
“Forget it. Next time, don’t s***w up, is that clear?”
“I swear.”
Thus for her next order, I ordered the maid to assassinate Kaisar. She bowed her head and disappeared without a sound.
When Kaisar started imitating an adventurer, I rejoiced at the assassination opportunity God gave me. But now, I hate him for giving his father a hard time because of his pointless bonkers.
He ridicules his father.
His death won’t be that easy.
