Lu Qian woke up and saw Hua Ruo Lan beside him. It was like a dream to him. She was fast asleep. As she slept, her features softened making her look calm and sweet. His eyes roamed her tender face as she slept. Not quite long, Hua Ruo Lan opened her eyes and began staring deep into Lu Qian's eyes. As she stared deep into his eyes all she could see was pain. She had hurt him so much yet he still accepted her. Meanwhile Lu Qian was also staring at her. Her eyes showed regret, fear and also a glimpse of hope. All these got him confused. He wanted to understand what all these meant so he continued staring at her.

The both of them continued staring,trying to find out what the other was thinking but that moment was short lived when Lu Qian's phone rang. Hua Ruo Lan lowered her lashes and diverted her gaze. Lu Qian picked up the phone in annoyance.

"What is it?" Lu Qian asked irritated.

"Sir...are you not coming in today?...the meeting is about to start in 2 hours" Lu Qian's assistant stuttered sensing his master's mood. Lu Qian was silent for a while before answering.

"I'll be there" Lu answered as he hung up and took large strides into the bathroom. Hua Ruo Lan left the room and went into her son's room. The little boy was very happy to see his mother. They had developed such a strong bond over a short period of time.

"Chang Ying can you please change him, I want to take him to my parents house"Hua Ruo Lan said as she left his room and went into her room to change.

Lu Qian got dressed ad stepped into the bedroom. He couldn't find Hua Ruo Lan, he searched for her but couldn't find her so he left. His driver quickly opened the door for him,as he was about to enter,his eyes caught Hua Ruo Lan wearing a maroon strap shoulder top with short leather skirt and a black ankle heel boots. She looked mesmerizing but Lu Qian was curious. Where was she going with Lu Jin ?.

"Where are you going?" Lu Qian asked curiously trying to control himself because with the way she's looking, Lu Jin might have a baby brother or sister soon.

"I'm going to my parents house" Hua Ruo Lan answered. Lu Qian was taken aback. Ever since they got married, Hua Ruo Lan considered it a sacrilege to even visit her parents. He was speechless. He didn't know what had suddenly happened to her. He just nodded his head as he watched her enter into the car.

"Let's go" Lu Qian said to his driver.

At Old Master and Old Madam Hua's house, Old Master Hua was in the garden with his wife when Hua Ruo Lan held Lu Jin and walked towards them. Old Master Hua thought he had gone blind. Old Madam Hua was speechless. She was overjoyed when she saw her daughter.

"I want to go for the internship program" Hua Ruo Lan said calmly. Old Master and Madam Hua were so excited. They couldn't hold their joy. In her previous life, Hua Ruo Lan held bachelor's degree for software engineering but because she cherished Mu Feng,she spent all her time and energy on him. Old Master Hua was beyond excited,his daughter was planning to take over the company as he had intended.

"I'll call my assistant and set you up for the application program...I'm glad you are interning at Hua..."Old Master Hua didn't even finish his statement when Hua Ruo Lan interrupted him.

"No...I'm not interning at the company" Hua Ruo Lan said.

"OK...so where are you going to do your internship program" Old Master Hua asked curiously. Hua Ruo Lan was silent for a while before she finally answered
