Hua Er Bao and Wang Fang were both pleased with what they were hearing. They too had been asked by thy reporters about Hua Ruo Lan but they didn't dare comment because of Old Master Hua but they were satisfied with everyone thinking that Hua Ruo Lan was dead.

" This is great....Er Bao you should really put in a lot of effort now. People are getting more curious about Hua Ruo Lan. You should really stick to Lu Qian now" Wang Fang said excitedly." "Lu Jin's third birthday is coming up....you should help Lu Qian with the preparations and that means you'll get to spend more time with him and get him to fall for you"

"Mother...Lu Qian doesn't handle the preparations for Lu Jin's birthday" Hua Er Bao said to her mother who was already on cloud nine.

"Really?...who does?" Wang Fang asked.

"Lin Jia Li" Hua Er Bao answered.

"Oh...you're right...Lu Qian's mother does all the preparations...you should go and help her out then so that you'll slowly gain her support" Wang Fang said happily. Hua Er Bao nodded in agreement.

If Hua Er Bao gains Lin Jia Li's support then kicking Hua Ruo Lan out of the Emerald Mansion would surely be a small matter.

At the Emerald Mansion, Old Madam Lu was sitting in the living room along with her husband and her son while little Jin played and Chang Ying played with his toys.

"I don't care how much it is just get it done as soon as possible" Old Madam Lu said in a loud voice disturbing the men who were busy reading the newspaper.

"Huh.....a retard?" Lu Qian asked surprised.

"Oh...you haven't seen the one that said she was dead" Old Master Hua said with a chuckle.

"I'm busy stressing out about my precious grandson's birthday and the two of you are busy reading fake news" Old Madam Lu nagged.

"Lin Jia Li why are you nagging?....nobody asked you to do this... you could have hired an events planner but no you decided to do everything by yourself...now your are quarreling with us for not helping you" Old Master Lu said as his expression darkened.

"You..." Old Madam Lu knew she couldn't argue with her husband so she faced her son.

"You are just going to sit down and agree with what your father is saying. I'm doing everything by myself and you won't even lift a finger to help me".

Old Madam Lu face brightened up when she saw Hua Ruo Lan walking towards them.

"Then don't help me...I don't need you anymore" Old Madam Lu said as her husband and her son looked at her in confusion. Hua Ruo Lan walked up to her and hugged her. Their relationship seemed to have gotten better these past few months. She also went to Old Master Lu and hugged him and also her son who was very happy seeing her.

"I've sent out all the invitations and I've also contacted our star chef" Old Madam Lu said happily.

"Oh....we also need to get the play area set" Hua Ruo Lan said as she sat beside her mother in law oblivious of Lu Qian which made is face dark.

"Yes...we need to do that...its very important..lets go I know someone who can help us set it up" Old Madam Lu said as stood up and walked towards the door and Hua Ruo Lan followed her.

Hua Ruo Lan stopped in her tracks when she noticed that Lu Jin was holding her hand. His face showed all indication that he wanted to follow them.

"please?" he asked as his sweet voice almost made Old Madam Lu cry.

"Oh...let him come...come on...come along" Old Madam Lu said as she carried him. Seeing that he was being ignored by his wife and mother he decided to tag along.

Hua Ruo Lan was a bit surprised." You want to come along too?"

"Hmm...yeah...I want to help" Lu Qian replied.

"Oh no you don't.... I asked you to help me but you refused now because your wife is here you want to help....we don't need it..." Old Madam Lu said sharply.

"Besides it has been long since I've seen Ruo Lan I don't want you to interfere....and just what do you know about planning events?".

His mother was right he knew nothing about planning events and neither did his son so he wondered why he was allowed to go with them.

"So why is Lu Jin tagging along?...I'm sure he's not even aware that he's going to be three in a few days."

"Didn't you see the way he pleaded.....it was so cute I felt like crying....he's definitely coming with" Old Madam Lu said as she turned towards the door. Hua Ruo Lan went behind her while waved at him and smiled at his father's defeat.

"I'm thinking of giving him up for adoption" Lu Qian said as he clenched his fist.

"Then I'll sure be ready to disown you"Old Master Lu said as he continued reading the newspaper.
