THE CHRONICLES OF WU XING

For the last two days Xing was with his brother for every second. They talked about everything. He promised his brother that he would take him and his mother to the sect as soon an possible.

Morning of departure came. When he was about to leave Mo's mother came with a small bag made of cloth and gave it to his him saying that it contained some food during travel. Tears rolled from Xing's eyes. As he was about to turn his aunt stopped him and gave him a ring. The ring looked like a copper ring which was looking like it was not even worth anything. As he was about to ask about the reason his aunt told him that it was present with him in the basket when she found him on road. He kept staring at the ring and thought about what it ment but he could not find anything auspicious so he just wore it on his left hand and forgot about it.

After that all of them started moving towards the city exit. There they saw others waiting and some still to arrive. As everyone was about ready the same eagle came. The elder called the children to hop on the eagle. All of them sat on the eagle and bid farewell to their family.

As they rose up in the sky the Elder told them that he had erected a wall of Qi around the eagle so that winds donot blow them away as the trip would take more than 8 hours to reach the destination of their examination. All the children were looking around as eagle flew at its fastest. After a while Elder noticed Xing performing the breathing exercise sitting in lotus position on centre of the eagle. He was astonished by the hard work he was doing.

After a while they suddenly saw mountain range. It had several peaks and each one was higher than other. Some of them were higher than the level they were even flying. As the got nearer they saw that these peaks were connected to each other. After a while the elder landed the bird on one of the smallest peak. It was the most beautiful Xing had seen throughout his entire life. It was even beautiful than the scenery behind their home.

As soon as Xing and others landed they saw more than 100 children about 10 years gathered there. Xing was feeling odd as he knew no one and others were older than him and hence he felt alone for the first time. He did not like what was going around and did not like this feeling.

Suddenly a group of five people appeared in front of them. They had aura which made even the elders rolling sweat on their backs. Suddenly a elder spoke, ``Hello young disciples I am Great Elder Fan Mo from Shen clan, I am at 7th stage of spirit severing. My spirit is a fire attribute six tailed fox. Tomorrow you all would be tested for your talent and willpower and would be accepted to one of the five clans. So tomorrow would be a very important day for all of you so rest for tonight. Reaching here does not necessary mean you may be accepted by any one of the clans but you have to work hard and show all what you have got so that you may have a bright future. You may all leave specific rooms will be allotted to you soon by the elders where you may rest and clean up yourself."

After the breaf introduction all the elders were about to leave when a elder suddenly approached them. He was Ling Chen who was followed by a five year old child. Looking at both of them the elder with curiosity asked the reason for his approach. Ling bowed to elder greeting him and said, `` During awakening ceremony this child also started practicing the breathing technique and broke through the first stage. When I tried to check for the attribute the Qi strand was completely absorbed also his body started absorbing Qi from my body thus breaking two more stages in the process." As the elders heard the explanation each one was astonished and spread their soul sense towards the child. All of them had a curious look towards the boy which made him more nervous. The elder communicated with each other using soul transmission and made a decision. The elder asked Xing to introduce himself. After a while he told Xing that he can take the exam after five years because the others were much older than him and it would be much more difficult for current him to pass the examination.

But as soon as the elder stopped speaking Xing hurried to answer, `` Senior Grand Elder I know you all are looking out for me, but I would much like to give the test this year and get selected by a sect." All the elders were astonished by the answer given by him. After some discussion they all agreed. The Grand Elders left after the decision was made.

After some time Xing followed Elder Ling. They both had common room. He would have not stayed here but due to age difference between Xing and others he felt it was better than other option. The had dinner and after that Xing was about to sleep when Elder stopped and explained, `` You are now a cultivator, you should not waste your time sleeping and should start the breathing exercise which may help strengthen your foundation." Xing started the exercise and soon bright sun rays fell on Xing which made him stop the exercise. The whole night elder experience a sudden drop in environmental Qi around the room. He was astonished by mere talent of the youth before him.
