Since Dong Hua didn't know about what happened during their lunch, he opened his mouth to answer Lu Xian Yu's question. "Yes, I know her. Her name is-"

"Wait, wait. It won't be fun if I know her name. Why don't you describe her for me instead?" Lu Xian Yu decided to change his mind about it.

Xia Meilin heaved out a sigh in relief when Lu Xian Yu stopped asking about Li Bingbing's name.

Dong Hua couldn't help but wonder how Lu Xian Yu was able to know Li Bingbing. Was she one of his girls?

"She's beautiful but... crazy." Dong Hua did not like Li Bingbing but since she was his Madam's friend, he complimented her.

"She has a height of 5'4. She has short curly hair that reaches above her shoulders. She also wears glasses. She has big round eyes and thin lips. Do you want me to draw her for you, second master?" Dong Hua politely asked.

"No, no. That's enough. I'll be able to recognize her by her voice anyway. Short hair hm? I prefer girls with long hair but since she's a beauty, I'll give it a try." Lu Xian Yu turned and left the mansion.

So he really was going... Xia Meilin couldn't help but feel sorry for Lu Xian Yu.

Lu Yifeng furrowed his brows. He was looking at Xia Meilin since earlier and he couldn't help but feel uneasy when he saw her staring at his brother. She never turned away since then. Was she attracted to his brother? Once again, he was in a bad mood when he thought of that and it made the whole room turn gloomy.

Xia Meilin felt a chill ran down her spines, she felt something was wrong. She turned and looked at Lu Yifeng, seeing him look at her with a dark glare made her step back. "U-um... where's Xiao Gua and your mother?"

In other words, where are her protectors against this man?

"They went to visit your grandparents today." He took a step closer to her, "They will be staying there for the night."

Xia Meilin gulped nervously as she took another step back. She didn't like the look that Lu Yifeng was giving her. She was starting to get worried and...scared. Was he finally going to make a move and force her into something?

He was afraid that he might erupt in front of her and go out of control so before that could happen, he escaped. The fear in her eyes was something that reminded him of his other life. He was truly furious, furious with himself for making her feel that way again.

He should be her source of strength, he wanted to make her feel confident and make her feel that she was safe whenever he was around and yet, he was making her feel the opposite.

When he entered his study, he shut the door with a 'bang' before he went and punched the wall hard, letting all his frustrations out. He was not going to make the same mistakes he did in his past. He was not going to let his temper take over him.

Blood oozed out from his knuckles because of the punch he did on the wall. Although, the pain in his hand wouldn't be able to compare with the pain in his heart.

Xia Meilin was actually surprised when Lu Yifeng didn't do anything to her and it made her racing heart finally calmed down.

Now that the atmosphere in the room returned to normal, Xia Meilin let out a long breath since she was holding it earlier because of Lu Yifeng's scary look.

She looked at the old grandfather clock in the room. It was almost time for dinner but she didn't feel like eating. She walked out of the living room and saw the head maid. "I will skip dinner tonight. I'm full."

Mo Jing watched Xia Meilin climb up the stairs. She saw what happened earlier, although she wasn't able to hear anything from them, she could only tell that the married couple was in a fight.

Xia Meilin entered her room and went to take a shower before she changed into her pajamas. Since it was still early, she walked towards her room's balcony. The place was so beautiful, the garden filled with different kinds of flowers were seen, and because of the moonlight, it made the view look serene.

But despite this, she felt so empty without Little Melon around. Knowing that he was with Jing Yue, visiting her grandparents, she also wanted to leave and go to them.

The high-ceilinged factory space had been cleverly designed to resemble the vaults and buttresses of a medieval cathedral with the altar-like bar as a focal point.

Lu Xian Yu was waiting in the bar until eight in the evening. He kept looking at the entrance but he couldn't find any sign of the woman Dong Hua described. He should have asked Dong Hua for the drawing.

He waited and waited until ten o'clock but the woman he was expecting didn't arrive. Of course, he was flirting and drinking with other girls while waiting but he never heard the same voice from them.
