Li Bingbing exceeded Lu Yifeng's expectations of her. Within that day, she called him and told him about the location of Bai Xiu Ying.

"The house she's staying in is one of the Bai family's vacation house. Her atm cards may have been blocked but according to here, mommy Bai has been sending money to her for her needs. I looked into the locals' surveillance and looks like there's this man who's always with her. Of course, the great me has looked into his profile for you. His name is Hu Bingxi. He's a 27 years old man and he has quite a few criminal records such as drug use and stealing. He was released from prison two years ago. Lu Yifeng was in his office at that time while listening to Li Bingbing's report. "Bingxi and Duyi. Those were the names that Meilin told me."

"Well, the other guy is Hu Bingxi's brother. Hu Duyi went missing last week. I've looked into it and he was last seen entering a forest park a day before they captured Meimei. Meimei got kidnapped by them, right? After seeing through the footage from Meimei's studio, I've looked through the other CCTV that was around the building. The only eye-catching and suspicious vehicle that I saw was a black van that went out of the building's back."

She was able to get all that information in a short amount of time? Did she hack into the police files as well?

"I've followed the van through looking at the streets' CCTV and found that it entered that same forest park. I am guessing, that's where they took Meimei. It will just be a matter of time before Hu Duyi's dead body will be found since Meimei killed him, right? Anyway, going back to that Bai bitch. I found out that she has a flight scheduled tomorrow. You need to act now, boss."

Lu Yifeng's eyes became bloodshot upon hearing that Bai Xiu Ying was planning to leave the country. "Is Xian Yu there? I have a mission to give him."

Li Bingbing pouted at the mention of Lu Xian Yu. "Hey, we have a deal."

"Once he's out, my men will get you."

Li Bingbing's face instantly brightened when she heard him, "Okay! I'll go get Lu Xian Yu for you, boss!"

It looked like Lu Yifeng has to deal with the Bai family earlier than expected. They were secretly helping their daughter escape him and he would not allow that.

While Lu Yifeng began to get busy, Xia Meilin was focused on taking care of Little Melon.

"Simba became friends with Timon and Pumba." Little Melon was reading a children's book out loud.

Xia Meilin was patiently listening to her son as she keeps on eating the fried mackerel she cooked earlier.

"Excuse me, madam. You have some visitors." A maid said as she stood by the living room's entrance.

Xia Meilin turned and saw Lu Qian and Jing Yue, entering the living room.

She quickly stood up, "G-good evening, grandpa Qian, Madam Lu."

Jing Yue frowned, "How many times do I have to tell you that you can call me mother." She walked towards Xia Meilin and gave her a hug. "I'm sorry for visiting you without giving you a message."

"It's okay. Please have a seat," said Xia Meilin with a small smile. She turned to the maid, "Prepare some tea and snacks for them."

Little Melon stood up and gave Jing Yue a hug, "Mello's happy to see mami!"

"I'm happy to see you as well, sweetheart." Jing Yue patted his head.

Little Melon turned to Lu Qian and grinned. He went to him and hugged his leg, "Welcome home, great grandpa Qian!"

Lu Qian's eyes softened with Little Melon's greeting. The little boy was definitely a ray of sunshine that brought warmth in his heart. He was really happy to have a grandson like him.

He bent down and gave the little boy a hug before he went to the sofa and sat there with the boy.

Jing Yue sat beside Xia Meilin and held her hand. "We heard what happened. Your grandpa and I came here to check on you."

Xia Meilin was touched because of what she said. What happened to her was hidden to her family and to others. She didn't want the paparazzi following her around and for her, it was such a hassle to let the media know about what was happening in her life. She trusted Lu Yifeng enough and because of that, she knew that he would be able to handle the matter without getting the attention of others.

As much as she tried hiding what happened to her, Jing Yue and Lu Qian were able to find out. "You came all the way from Guangzhou just to check on me? Mother, you don't have to. You could have just called."

Jing Yue chuckled, "Well, we're here now so we really can't do that anymore."

Aside from that, Lu Qian couldn't sit still after knowing that the Bai family was trying to hurt one of his family members.

"Thank you, mother. I'm really fine now. I really appreciate that you came to visit me here."

"I will personally handle the Bai family." Lu Qian turned to Xia Meilin with a blank look on his face. Even if he doesn't show much emotions, he was a kind person. Since Xia Meilin was actually the granddaughter of his old friends and she had a good impression from him, he wanted to help her. He wanted to have a good relationship with his granddaughter-in-law

"Then I guess, I'll let you face old man Bai." A low and deep voice was suddenly heard.

They turned their heads and saw Lu Yifeng entered the room. He went and sat on the couch, just beside his wife.

"Yes, yes, leave that matter to me."

"Will great grandpa Qian and mami be staying here tonight?" Asked Little Melon, raising his head to look at Lu Qian.

"Yes. We will stay here until tomorrow." He patted his head. "Have you visited a museum, Mello?"

"Not yet, but Mello read that museum is filled with historical things!"

"What a bright boy!" The old man grinned at him, "Do you want to go with me later?"

Little Melon's eyes sparkled in excitement, "Yes! Mello wants to go with great grandpa!"

Lu Qian chuckled lightly, he turned to Lu Yifeng and Xia Meilin, "I hope that you wouldn't mind me borrowing your son today."

"Well, Xiao Gua is free today since he doesn't have any classes," said Xia Meilin, smiling at him.

"Can I join you two?" Asked Jing Yue.

Little Melon nodded happily, "Of course! How about you, mama and dada?"

Before Xia Meilin could give her son an answer, Jing Yue took the words out of her mouth, "Sweetheart, your mother, and father can't go. They have some baby making to do today."

Xia Meilin's face flushed red upon hearing what Jing Yue said. On the other hand, a small smirk appeared on Lu Yifeng's lips.

"Mello is really excited for baby sister to come! Can't she really come here next week? Mello is excited to hold her!"

Jing Yue and Lu Qian ended up laughing at what the innocent little boy said meanwhile, it was the opposite for Xia Meilin. She wanted to dig a hole and hide from embarrassment! Can't her son go easy on her?

Lu Yifeng held his wife's hand and pulled it to his lips, kissing the back of it, "Looks like we're going to be really busy today."

Xia Meilin pulled her hand from him and gave him a glare as a warning that she'll beat him up if tried to make her tired again!
