“You finished the task?” The King who knew what the boy wanted to brag about asked a question to which the answer was rather clear instead of mentioning the beast.

“Of course I did. It’s impossible for me to fail such an easy task. I’m not talking about that, guess one more time, my leader.”

After Feng Xi heard the King’s answer, he showed a complacent look right away.

The King glanced at the Sky Breaking Beast indifferently, ignoring how violently the latter had already trembled and then fixed his eyes on the boy’s rosy cheeks. After that, he put down the black crystal and held the boy in his arm while fanning off the smell which didn’t belong to the boy.

After a long while, the King pretended to understand the boy all of a sudden and asked, “You mean that beast?”

“You are so clever, my leader. How did you guess that out?” Feng Xi chuckled happily at once.

Hearing his laughter, the others couldn’t help but twitch their mouths.

How could the great King of the Netherworld not guess that out? Only the ignorant boy would be so proud of himself and ask that question. The maids who knew what was happening now looked at each other with a glimmer of smile in their eyes, thinking, ‘Young Master is still that funny.’

However, the beast which the King had just mentioned was already overly terrified now. The Sky Breaking Beast knew that the King could decide to let it live or die. The only thing it hoped for was that the King wouldn’t hold it responsible for chasing the boy. Otherwise, it would vanish in this world forever even if it had nine lives.
