The Emperor Is Searching

One eunuch, eight guards and four servants of the Emperor stood outside his chamber door.

The Emperor was reading but couldn't continue when he started thinking about Kleila.

"Yan!" The Emperor called and immediately Yan rushed in and bow.

"Was there a time when Kleila came to look for me and one of you refused her entrance." The Emperor asked but Yan told him no.

The Emperor dismissed him but still couldn't stop his mind from thinking about Kleila. He feels as though something is missing and that the Kleila he know couldn't stay a day without coming to see him.

He had thought of going to her quarters just in case she is ill but he stopped himself because he didn't want to encourage Kleila feelings for him, although he's happy she has them, he's still unsure if he wants to have that kind of relationship with her and also, he feels Kleila isn't sure of her affection.

He sat down and grab a scroll but set it aside, together with the other pile of unread scrolls when his thought overshadows his thinking and consecration, he just couldn't stop thinking about Kleila.

He tried but it just feels as if something was missing.

He cursed out loud in frustration as his heart kept telling him what he refused to accept.

He hates this feelings and doesn't want to encourage it so he forced himself to grab one of the scrolls and begin to unfold it. After staring at it blankly for twenty seconds, he tossed them aside furiously and called one of his servants.

Jae-kuk rushed in and bow.

"You called me Your Highness." He asked, his head lowered and his hands folded on top of another in front of his stomach.

"Go to Kleila quarters ..tell her that I want to see her in my chamber." The Emperor ordered.

Jae-kuk made a move to turn and do as he was ordered but then he remembered that Kleila is no longer living in the palace so he turned and bowed again.

The Emperor raised his brows at him in question. "Your Highness, Kleila is no longer in the palace."

"What are you talking about?" The Emperor asked confused and at the same time agitated.

Jae-kuk took in a deep breath before saying.."Your Highness, Empress mother sent her back to her mother's country the day before yesterday, Sime told me that it's because Empress mother found out that Kleila has feelings for His Highness."

Immediately Jae-kuk finished, the Emperor stormed out of his chamber and begin heading toward his mother's in anger.

As he gets near his mother's chamber, eunuch Myung-yong saw him and said out loud. "His Royal Highness, the Emperor is arriving!"

A little while after eunuch Myung-yong announced the Emperor arrival to the Empress, the Emperor barged in angrily. He walked up to his mother and begin to ask her where she sent Kleila to.

"Son.." The Empress called but the Emperor wouldn't hear any of it.
