The Emperor Is Searching

They started to panic as they look around everywhere.

"Mother, Father!" Dakota called and her parents rush to where the sound came from. When they got there, they both gaps in surprise.

"She's so.." Kenniae began to say but her son finished it for her by saying "White!." His eyes never leaving the young confused girl who is sitting on a stool and looking everywhere.

Mr Kumara walked to the girl's front and squat down so that the two of them will be eye leveled. "Young girl what's your name?." 

He asked but received no response. 

"I'm asking you a question young girl and it requires a reply. We need to know where you're from and  how to take you to your parents whom I'm sure must be worried sick about you."

But still yet the girl remained silent and this is provoking Mr Kumara, he grabbed the girl who kept looking around her scarily and this made her scream in panic.

Immediately she panicked, Ximnam rush to her and remove his father hands away from hers and then he pulled her to him. "It's alright." He said but her body kept shaking frighteningly.

"It's alright, he's my father and the other person is my mother, they won't hurt you. I won't let anyone harm you, I promise." He whispered to her ears and this seems to calm her down.

 She whispered something back to him which is that Mr Kumara face is scary and although he didn't understand what she said, he told her that it's alright and that his parents are just worried about her well being." And after, she nods her head in understanding.

Dakota breath out in relief before turning to face her parents who looks worried. "Mother, Father, we have already asked her this and she replied that she doesn't know, we think she might have lost her memory. Maybe she got drown because I checked her body for any injury while bathing her when she woke up and i found none." 

Immediately Dakota finished, Ximnam raised his face up and plead to both his mother and father. "Father, mother, please let her stay with us until she can be able to remember." 

Kumara moved away from the girl and went to his wife who looked away because she knows he's asking for her opinion.

 "We will take her to the palace." Their father announced and begin to walk out but his wife stopped him by holding his hand. He looked at her inquiringly but she walk to where the girl is sitting and squat to her level.

"It's amazing how you can understand our language." Kenniae said looking at her before turning to look at her husband. "Dear, don't you find this amazing?" She asked and this really intrigue her husband for he began to move closer.

"She didn't speak our language mother." Dakota said and this removed the little smile on Mr Kumara's face.

Kenniae stood up. "How then did she told you that she can't remember?."She asked confused.

"She didn't say it with her mouth, Ximnam used signs." Dakota replied and begin to say something else but her brother interrupted her.

"She do speak mother, she speaks her language." Ximnam defended when he saw the look is father is now wearing.

"She spoke her language ..did you understand it. I can't have a stranger who doesn't speak my language or remembers where she's from in my house! Get her up, we're taking her to the palace ..let them deal with her problems, I already have a lot on my hands right now!" Mr Kumara said and began to walk out and immediately Ximnam rush after him pleading.

"Father please let her stay with us, she needs our help and I've already given her a name ..please." He pleaded but his father used his walking stick to chase him away before yelling for him to get the girl.

"Let me not repeat myself again!" He yelled and this is when he knows his father won't change his mind and so he ran to his mother. "Mother." He began to say but his mother didn't even wait for him to finish, she told him to do as he was instructed.

"But mother please, let her stay with us, I've already promised her that she will stay with us and I've also given her a name .. Nena and she loves it." He said and then run to the girl.

 "You love it right ..Nena?" He asked when he got to her and she smile before replying him with her language but out of everything she spoke the only one he thinks he now understands his "ye" for she always say it while nodding her head downwards.

He smiled back at her and then suddenly he blurted out .."I will quit fighting!." 

This stopped his mother movement and also his father who's almost outside of the compound. 

"If you let her stay, I will quit fighting." He said again but now he isn't looking at the girl but his mother with a determined look.
