The Emperor Is Searching

The Emperor enter his chamber and went directly to his bird, he collected the scroll from it's leg, went to his mat ..drop his drink on the table and sit before opening the scroll.

Outside the Emperor's door his personal guard pray for the note to contain more good news for he has never seen the Emperor this happy before, but when he heard the scattered sound of some furniture, he knew the note contains not that of happiness.

He sign in distress and rush in to know if the Emperor Injured himself.

"Your Highness." He called as he bowed near him, his eyes searching but the Emperor waved him off.

"Get out!" He yelled and immediately Woong leave the room, the Emperor grab the drink on his table and drink them all at once ..not knowing that the cup is now empty, he picked it up again and bend it to his mouth but nothing came out and this made him furious and he throw the cup away in anger.

"Get me a drink!" He yelled to no one in particular but all the servants and guards begin to move in confusion as they're frightened of the Emperor sour mood.

"Jae-Kuk go to Fiwe tell their master that the Emperor asked for some drinks. Hurry!!" Woong instruct one of the servants who immediately rush out to get the drink and meet Man-se coming towards him with two bottles of drinks and a cup. 

"For His Highness ..right." He asked in haste.

"Yes." Man-se replied.

He smiles delightfully, collect the drink from his hands and begin to rush out but then remember something, he turned back. "Has it been tested?

 "The Queen mother made it special for His Highness." Man-se replied but before he even finished Jae-Kuk has already left with the drink.

Jae-Kuk hurriedly enter inside the Emperor chamber, he didn't need to ask whether to come in or not for the Emperor was even yelling where is the drink he asked for.

 As he finished pouring the first drink he got up to move but the Emperor stopped him with his intense glare. "Who said you can go." He asked the now very scared man who instantly begin to plead but the Emperor waved him off and ordered him to keep pouring him drinks.

Jae-Kuk has never been this scared in his entire life, he kept on holding his breath as he poured more and more drinks for the Emperor. At some point he wished the Emperor will hear his thought which kept repeating. "Stop Your Highness, you've had enough."  And when he realized that he's saying those things in his mind, he hugged himself in relieve.

"Your Highness." He called frighteningly when the Emperor slowly stood up and begin to move as if he's going to fall. He knows the Emperor is drunk but he couldn't do anything.

"It's not like I can tell him to stop." He said and then begin to chuckle as his mind tell him 'unless you don't love your head.'

He stood up as the Emperor drunkenly walk to his bed, he'd run up to him anytime he thinks he's going to fall but stops himself as the Emperor managed without breaking a rip to get to his bed.

"It was false news ..huh." The Emperor said chuckling after laying on his bed, he said this while looking at the servant and also pointing at him, his mouth slightly wide spread as if smiling but you'd know he isn't.

It's so obvious that the content of the message saddens him deeply.

Jae-Kuk stood straight when he heard Noh Ji-Wook announce the Empress entrance, he made his way to leave but stopped as the Empress with a fair maiden are already entering.

He bowed but instantly got dismissed.

"You know what to do." The Empress asks Mi-Ok who nod her head in response and this put a smile on her face before she turned her back and walk out.

 She stopped at the door, turn to the guards "No one is permitted to enter His Highness Royal chamber unless he permits it."
