The Emperor Is Searching

It's been almost an hour since the girls left, but Nena is still on the tree ..at first she told herself she was waiting for them to each reach their various houses but then she got cut up in deep thought.

Nena has never lied before, but she did today and this has been bothering her. "Should I tell him that I lied about mama and papa knowing about us being a couple?" She mused, but discard the thought immediately it came to her mind and then she began to feel doubts.

"Could he possibly love me, he's so so handsome .Besides, he didn't exactly make any promises to me." She said out loud and suddenly grabbed her face in distress. "But I love him." She yelled, angry at herself for questioning the Emperor's Love.

After some more minutes, she finally got down from the tree and went straight to the Emperor's house. At the Emperor's front gate she debated a lot about going in and if she did, what is she going to tell him?.

"Arch!!" She yelled frustrated, but pushed the gate open. Immediately she entered she saw the Emperor coming out, he seems to be going somewhere.

Nena just stood where she was when she first saw the Emperor, her cheeks flushed.

The Emperor walked to her . "I didn't know you were coming." And then began to lead Nena Inside, but changed his mind and began to lead her towards his backyard.

"I. you." The two of them began at the same time.

"Tell me." The Emperor said and then usher her to sit on a couch and when she did, the Emperor sat beside her.

Nena began blushing. "You are so handsome .that's what I was going to say."

The Emperor looked at Nena and after a while, he said thank you. They sat in silence for almost twenty minutes, there was no tension ..at least not for Nena. The Emperor has held her hand all through and is still holding it and palming it.

The Emperor suddenly got up, he moved closer to Nena and began looking at her. If Nena is the mind reader she claimed she is, she'd know the look the Emperor has now is that of guilt, but Nena isn't and so she didn't know the Emperor is having a hard time thinking of how to tell her something important to him.

Nena got up when the Emperor stood there for so long without saying anything and then she began to feel it ..the tension.

"What is it?" She asked softly, touching the Emperor's face tenderly.

She moved a lot closer "Tell me." She urged when her Emperor still kept quiet.

The Emperor then took a deep breath and when he let it out, he grabbed hold of Nena's hand. "Please know that I didn't mean to betray you ..I was drunk and I." He paused, closed his eyes. He opens it. "I have a child."
