The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 91 A leisurely day

Early the next morning, Xing Ze came to the public office. Although there were no classes today, he had nowhere to go because the Ministry of Magic was still monitoring him, so he planned to come to the office to kill time.

The most comprehensive newspaper in Hogwarts is probably the Muggle Studies office. There are not only wizarding newspapers here, but also various Muggle newspapers. In addition to the Times, the Guardian, and the Daily Telegraph, there are also many scattered tabloids to read.

Xing Ze picked out a few valuable newspapers and read them. All three major newspapers reported on the latest situation of the plague. After paying a heavy price, the plague was finally effectively controlled, and new drugs played a very good healing role.

But Xing Ze understands that if the last fragment has not been recovered, everything is not over yet. As long as those madmen think, they can still set off another plague.

Ben walked into the office with his coffee cup. He asked Xing Ze: "Don't you have no class today? Are you here so early?"

"Let's read the newspaper. Fourth-year students need to understand Muggle government institutions and social structures. I plan to use this plague as an example."

Ben nodded in agreement, "What a great idea, why didn't I think of it. Compared to the boring examples in textbooks, this plague is much more vivid. Remember to give me a copy when the time comes."

"no problem."

"Since you are so free, do you want to go fishing in the afternoon, Xing Ze?" Ben poured himself a cup of strong coffee, "I found a good fishing spot."

"No, I have something else to do in the afternoon."

"Okay, your loss." He smiled, turned to look at the door, and asked: "Who are you looking for, children?"

"We... are looking for Mr. Xing Ze." A familiar voice sounded outside the door.

Xing Ze put down the newspaper and looked at the door, "Come in, you four."

Ben was so happy that he moved his wand and the door opened wider: "How did you know there were four people?"

Harry, Neville, Ron and Hermione walked into the office, and the four of them walked slowly to Xing Ze with their heads lowered.

"You guys are so mean." Xing Ze said with a smile, "You actually ran away by yourself."

The four children didn't dare to speak. Ron secretly glanced at Ben who was watching the show. Xing Ze shook his head and continued: "Don't let it happen again. It's not unreasonable for it to be called a restricted area."

"Aren't you going to punish us?" Harry asked quietly and tentatively.

"I think the thrilling experience last night should be enough for you guys."

"That's true." Ron smiled stupidly, and Hermione nudged him with her elbow. Neville probably hadn't recovered from last night's experience, and he looked like he was in a daze.

"Okay, kids, there's no next time." Xing Ze said, but in his heart he thought there would definitely be a next time. "It's Professor McGonagall's job to punish you. I don't have the power, and I don't like to waste time on this kind of thing."

"Then have you told Professor McGonagall?" Hermione asked quickly.

"If you have another chance, I will consider it." Xing Ze replied seriously.

Neville suddenly came to his senses, shook his head repeatedly and said, "No, no, there will never be a next time."

After making the guarantee, Xing Ze asked the four of them to go back to class. Ben came over with a smile and asked, "What did they commit?"

"Just a few kids who don't go to bed on time." Xing Ze replied casually and continued to pick up the newspaper and read it.

"Speaking of which, where have you been these nights?" Ben asked.

"What? What do you want from me?"

"It's not a big deal. Some young teachers will go to the Three Broomsticks pub in Hogmogg to gather after dinner."

"Are you inviting me?"

"That's what I mean, but I don't think you will go."

"Your feeling is spot on, Ben."

"Okay, okay." Ben stuck out his tongue helplessly, "There are many young and beautiful girls there. You should really consider it."

"Maybe next time."

After lunch, Xing Ze took a stroll through the school. The weather today was good, perfect for fishing at noon. He began to regret not agreeing to Ben's invitation.

Hogwarts is huge, big enough that you can walk around leisurely all day long, big enough that even the gatekeeper Filch can't figure it out, and big enough to hide many secrets.

He stayed for a while by the black lake. Several mermaid girls greeted him. A huge squid floated on the lake to bask in the sun, and some small fish monsters were playing on the shore.

Then, he went to Hagrid's hut to sit for a while. This huge hybrid giant was very warm and hospitable.

He poured Xing Ze a cup of strong tea made from an unknown substance, and took out a few pieces of rock cake for afternoon tea.

The hunting dog Yaya is having fun outside the house. It doesn't seem to like Xing Ze very much. Every time Xing Ze comes, he will run far away.

Xing Ze tasted the strong tea, but did not dare to touch the rock cakes. The tea tasted pretty good, as long as you could accept the peculiar sour taste.

"Why do you have time to come here, sir?" Hagrid sat down next to Xing Ze in front of the cabin door.

"I have no classes today, and as you know, there aren't many students in Muggle Studies class." Xing Ze said, looking in the direction of the Forbidden Forest.

"Ah, it's similar to Care of Magical Creatures." Hagrid smoothed his beard and picked up a rock cake.

"I'm curious about what's in there." Xing Ze asked.

Hagrid chewed the rock biscuit and clucked it, "Um, you mean the Forbidden Forest? There are many, centaurs, werewolves, and all kinds of magical animals and plants."

"No, I feel there are other things, bad things." Xing Ze raised his head and looked at the raven flying back from the Forbidden Forest.

"There are a lot of bad things there, spiders, poisonous snakes, leopards..." Hagrid said a lot at once.

Xing Ze shook his head, "No, that's not what I'm referring to. Is there anything strange in the Forbidden Forest recently?"

"Not as far as I know. Oh, by the way, those centaurs, the centaurs living in the Forbidden Forest are a little restless."

"Um?"

"They usually live deep in the Forbidden Forest and rarely come close to the edge of the forest, but recently, I can often see them nearby."

"They didn't communicate with you?"

"Humans and horses? Communicate?" Hagrid took a sip of tea and swallowed the rock cake in his mouth. "It's difficult for humans and horses to communicate. Even I, after so many years here, don't have much friendship with them. But I You know, they must be worried about something.”

The raven called several times on the eaves. Xing Ze frowned, looked away and chatted with Hagrid for a while, then wandered back to school.

When passing by the courtyard, he saw Hermione sitting on the stairs leading to the library. Xing Ze thought about it and walked over.

"It's a nice day today, Miss Granger."

The shadow blocking the sun made the girl raise her head. She squinted her eyes and looked at it, then lowered her head again.

"I'm curious as to what makes you so sad in this weather." Xing Ze sat down on the stairs.
