The Factory's Secret

Chapter 10 - New territory

Luna was still going towers to towers trying the fin a way to the unexplored territory. She was unlucky, but she kept on searching. She had no idea of what it looked like, but she wished it was as pretty as the other three. Caro had connected the supercomputer to her computer. She thought it was less practical, but it was certainly more discrete. She could get caught getting out of the establishment and be severely punished by being kicked out. Now she could work to Luna's materialization program without taking any risks. When Caro arrived to connect with Aria, Luna stopped running and they tried to work on the program.

"I'll go in a tower. I'll help you from there." said Luna thinking she could work too.

"Okay. I've got a corporal scheme of you. Let's start the program. First, can you defragment the immersive matrix.

Jo and Madd were coming back from their walk when they passed by Lisbeth. She always said she hated her name, so she decided that she was going to be called Elisabeth. Small difference, but she preferred it that way. Jo wanted to see what the unexplored territory looked like, and he gave the same idea to Madd. They decided to go to the laboratory by the school's boiler room. They didn't under why there was an access to the sewers because it was leading directly to the factory. When they arrived, they found Luna and Caro working on materialization. They called Mike so he could join them and participate to the exploration of the territory.

"I will virtualize you on the river territory. That way, you can use the towers as you did last time. I will tell you which one it is." said Caro.

"Okay tell us as soon as you know." said Jo.

"Transfer Madd and Jo. Scanners activated and virtualization." said Caro following the complicated procedure.

"Is Mike here yet?" asked Madd.

"Still not I will send him on Aria when he gets here." said Caro.

"Should we wait for him?" asked Jo.

"No, if you find the territory before he's there I can program the virtualization directly in the unknown territory." said Caro.

"Ok then, let's get going." said Madd starting to run.

The tower was on one of the littlest lilies. It had the same halo color as the other ones. They entered but Luna went to the database. It was already on. She didn't understand why it was like that, before she had never been in this tower before. It was not just opened. It had informations on the materialization program on it.

"I'll transfer it to you." said Luna, troubled.

Caro received the part of the materialization program she and Luna missed in their program. With this data, they could almost materialize Luna, but they had to test it and make arrangements first. But a thing was missing to their explanation. Why was the database opened if Luna didn't do it. She was alone, curious and excited about the materialization, but she had never came to this tower. They were in their thoughts when Mike arrived.

"Mike? We can materialize Luna because the database was opened right in her face." said Caro.

"Wow that sounds weird. How do you explain it?" asked Mike, not knowing what she meant.

"The only possible thing I see is that Luna is not alone on Aria."

"What? That's not possible, if there was someone else on Aria I would know" said Luna, shocked.

"Look. We'll work on that later. For now, just go to the unexplored territory." said Caro, thinking obviously that exploring every territory of Aria was the first step.

They jumped and found themselves in a desert. It wasn't so hot for the place. It was purely magnificent. There were beige dunes everywhere and the towers were hidden under the sand because of the wind. The sand had gotten the towers almost broken. Their halos were grey instead of green because the color function was broken by the sand and winds. Caro wanted to see that for what it really looked like, not by a screen. She programmed the virtualization in the same position that her friends were and went to the scanner room. She appeared on Aria just besides her friends and contemplated the beautiful new territory.

"How will we know about activated towers if the colors don't work" asked Mike.

"I honestly don't know, honestly." answered Luna.

They came back on Earth, after seeing one of the most beautiful things in their life. They told themselves that's what they said after seeing the other territories. But as soon as they came in the first floor of the informatics complex to say bye to Luna, they heard her saying she saw someone that looked exactly like her, but everything Luna had blue, he had in red.

"He?" said Jo.

"Yes, it was definitely a boy, he was dressed like me, had the same eyes as me and the same height as me. But he had a masculine way to walk and short red hair. Again there, not the same as me." said Luna, obviously worried.
