The Fallen Magician Was Reborn As A Dragon

Some hours had already passed after Ethan fainted due mana exhaustion, his prize was delivered to his master, that is, Nea Leslie, the 2nd place reward isn't actually bad, in fact, one could say it is already very good to a newcomer, it was a fruit that could increase a small rank in a realm under Heaven Rank or help someone to breakthrough Heaven Rank, it is a special type of fruit, named 'Spiritual Fruit', it was already very rare for someone to have it, not to mention a newcomer.

Anyway, Ethan finally wake up, as his mana recovered to it's normal quantity, in fact, he didn't wanted to give up the first place without a fight even though he would lose to Liz, unfortunately, his mana was exhausted, resulting in him fainting.

Ethan also didn't had any intention of consuming the Spiritual Fruit already, after all, in mere one week, he advanced two small steps, damaging his foundation quite a bit, to strengthen his foundation again, he planned to pick a mission in the academy, after all, there's many requests into it, the resources the academy give isn't free, one need to do at least 1 mission per month to receive the cultivation resources and pay the academy fee, if you aren't rich.

Thinking about this, Ethan said to his master respectfully ''Master, sorry for the trouble fainting, although you probably already know, the reason I fainted is because of my newly created move, Lightning Field, it use a lot of mana, however, i came here to notifie you that today i will pick a mission to strengthen my foundation'' which his master nodded with a satisfied expression in his face, clearly, Ethan exceeded his expectations.

After talking with his master for some time, asking some questions about the present knowledge, Ethan excused himself and went towards the Academy Mission Hall, in the way, he actually met Liz, the Dragon Princess, he don't really have a sense of shame and directly asked her if she wanted to go in a mission with him, as Ethan could feel that she had a bit of interest towards him, even if it wasn't much interest.

''Hey beauty, i'm called Ethan, i believe we already met in the forest, right? You probably know that, seeing your expression when you look towards me, i'm going to pick a mission, wanna go with me? We can divide the reward'' Said Ethan in a very straightforward manner, attracting attention of both girls and guys, some were whispering 'This guy is already the tenth that asked she today, she refused every single person that asked her, let's see this guy embarass himself' thought them with a slightly mocking expression in their faces.

As Ethan was waiting for a answer, in Liz mission 'Huh? H-he's asking me to go with him in a mission? Does this count as a d-date? No, don't overthink Liz, he's only being gentle and don't have these thoughts, right, yeah, it's only that he's very gentle' while she was thinking about this, her face was already bright red as she finally answered yes.

''W-well, why don't we go? I'm very strong and so are you, it's a very normal thing for us to go together for missions, right?'' As Liz said that, her face unexpectedly had a cute smile in it.

Ethan didn't know why as his only experience in love was in previous life and his memory is only fragments of his long life, but he suddenly had the urge to hug her, however, he restrained himself of doing that.

In their way to the Academy Mission Hall, many students looked at them with envy, jealousy and even hatred and surpringly, most of them were towards Liz, who was completely oblivious of these looks.

There was many missions available but only one catched Liz and Ethan attention, the request was to eliminate the Wolf King because sometimes he was randomly killing some merchants near the kingdom, the reward to kill him is only 100 gold coins as the Wolf King realm is only Middle rank of Heaven Realm, the reason he wasn't killed already is because the people above that naturally disdain to take such request, therefore, the person requested the Academy.

Ethan and Liz decided to take this quest, then, they headed to the person and officially take the quest, after taking it, both of them didn't talked much until Ethan finally broke the silence, saying ''Well, since we're doing this quest together, doesn't this mean that we became friends? How nice, you're my second friend!''

Liz laughed at the way he talked, but was also surprised ''Huh? Your second friend? I thought you had lot of friends, why you just have one except me?''

Ethan answer almost made Liz spurt blood ''You see, i'm too handsome, everyone is jealous of me because of that, well, except a idiot guy that became my friend at the Academy Test''
