The Female Lead Is A Lesbian

Chapter 44 - Tsundere

Zoey and Katherine plummeted down the building. The wind almost snatched off Zoey's wig but she still could care less.

Katherine, on the other hand, was not as calm. She gripped Zoey's clothes as hard as she could and screamed and sobbed, " ZOEY! I'M NOT READY TO DIE YET! *UWAH*"

Zoey exclaimed a reply to Katherine, " Neither am I, so don't worry!"

The ground came floating up faster and faster and as it did Zoey unfolded her legs from her c.h.e.s.t. She put them straight out and the wind went up her shorts making them flutter nonstop.

Katherine just focused on the rapid beating of Zoey's heart. Somehow this calmed her down as if Zoey's heartbeat was a beautiful lullaby.

When she finally slowed her breathing down, *BOOM CRASH M-REOW* She suddenly felt the harsh and assaulting winds stop. She heard a large sound, which was followed by what sounded the toppling of trash cans and the startled sounds of cats.

These sounds were caused by Zoey landing feet first onto the ground causing everything nearby to be shaken. She landed with her knees slightly bent and her breath slightly ragged.

Zoey then took a deep inhale to settle herself and stood up straight. Once she took a few more moments to settle herself Zoey took off running the down the alley, leaving two footprints etched into the ground along with several large breaks in the concrete.

As she ran, Zoey exclaimed to Katherine, " See Katherine, we're both still alive aren't we?"

Zoey kept speeding down the alley until she made it to the street. Trying to decide which way to go, *WHEE-OOO WHEE-OOO WHEE-OOO*. The piercing wails of sirens filled the air.

Zoey looked to her left and could see the incoming blue and red lights. So, obviously, she went she ran to the right. The faster she ran the quieter the sirens grew.

(At Tommy Xan's Estate)

Tommy sat on a couch while Angela sat on a small stool with a few medical instruments out.

Angela had just finished Tommy's check-up and started putting her supplies back into her bag. "You seem to be fine but your temperature is still fairly high. I'll be back to check on you every once in a while. Just don't do anything too strenuous or stupid.

Take it easy, drink lots of water, take a couple of days off work, etcetera, etcetera.

Now I shall be on my way."

She said quickly and she finished packing up her supplies. She stood up to leave when Tommy called out, " Hey, hold on a sec."

"What?" Angela asked coldly, her eyes flashed with anger. But Tommy was used to Angela's fury. "I was thinking it's been a while since we hung out. So how about we seize the opportunity?" Tommy beamed.

Angela scowled at him and said coldly, " It's late and I'm going to bed." Tommy retorted with a big grin, " Oh, then you can stay in the guest room. You know my mom stocked it up with clothes your size, toothbrush, and other essentials. In case we ever changed our minds about dating, so you would always be able to leave looking fresh."

Angela clicked her tongue in annoyance and asked, " And why is it that you suddenly want to spend time together?"

Tommy beamed a reply, " I just miss the good old days ya know. Staying up all night, eating, junk food, and binging bad movies."

Angela turned all the way around to face Tommy and sneered, " Oh, so it's just a coincidence that I refuse to give you the information I have on a woman you're desperate to contact and at the same time you have a feeling of nostalgia making you want to relive old childhood memories."

Tommy beamed, " Yep!"

Angela's expression returned to a pissed one and she snatched up her bag. She retorted sassily, " Bitch, bye!" She turned back around and started to stomp away. But she abruptly stopped dead in her tracks and started patting her pockets.

She then turned around and walked back over to where Tommy sat with a big smile. "Problem?" He asked cheekily.

"I can't find my keys, " Angela muttered with a slight pink in her cheeks.

Tommy then said, "C'mon Ange, we've always been too busy nowadays. We barely see each other and when we do, we say thirty words to each at the most."

"Maybe that's how I like it, " Angela retorted as she crouched down to look under the coffee table.

"Come on what can I do to make you stay?" He asked pitifully.

"Nothing, " Angela immediately responded as she started searching under the couch.

"Ah come on, you're sure there's nothing, " he w.h.i.n.ed.

"Yup, " Angela responded quickly once again as she still searched under the couch.

"How about that wine you love, I heard there are no bottles left in the world but I think I can get my hands on one." He offered.

"The reason there are no more is because my brother bought them all for me on my birthday, " Angela responded as she started walking through the den.

" Ok, how about a movie? You know that popular horror movie that's coming out next month? Well, thanks to my connections I, obviously, got it super early and I am willing to share this mentally scarring experience with you. That is if you're willing to stay." He made another offer.

" I can wait until it comes out, like everybody else..... *tch* Damn it!... MOVE!" Angela replied getting more frustrated and shoved Tommy off the couch.

"*Gah* Ouch, that hurt." Tommy g.r.o.a.n.e.d and he watched as Angela started grabbing the couch cushions and frantically throwing them aside.

"*Tch* Just forget it, I'll have my chauffeur come and pick me up." Angela g.r.o.a.n.e.d annoyed and took out her phone.

Tommy smirked and spoke sarcastically, " Oh no, Angie's gonna leave and I don't have anything else to offer. How about money? No, she has lots of that.

Jewelry? No, she has lots of that too.

Clothes? Nope, that won't do at all, she has lots of those too.

Hmmm, just what can I offer to make her stay?"

Angela ignored him and had her face buried in her phone but Tommy continued, " *Sigh* Alas, " he made a dramatic sigh and put his hand to his forehead dramatically as well and even produced fake tears, while really he was smirking on the inside, " I have nothing of value to offer her. I only have two containers full of my mom's one of a kind, extra special, cookies that she makes only once a year and the ones only she has the recipe too."

* Clatter STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP* Tommy suddenly found himself being grabbed by his shirt collar by Angela, who dropped her phone and bag before she rushed over to him.

She had a crazed look in her eyes and exclaimed as she shook Tommy by his collar. " Your mom made her cookies! Where are they!?! SPEAK MAN SPEAK!"

Tommy smirked and said, " Does that mean you're gonna stay?"

Angela's face turned pink and she let go of Tommy's shirt. She stood up, crossed her arms, and turned her head away. She then announced rather sheepishly, " W-well after hearing you try so hard to get me to stay I decided to pity you.

A-also if I left you would eat the cookies all by yourself, and you're still recovering so eating too much sugar is a no go. A-and your mom went through such trouble to bake them so it would be rude not to partake.

A-and by the way, this doesn't mean I'll let you back out of showing me that horror movie either."

Tommy chuckled to himself and faked coughed, " *COUGH COUGH* Tsundere *COUGH COUGH COUGH*"

Angela whipped her head around. She was now a nice bright red and she grabbed a couch cushion and chucked it right at Tommy's face.

"Just get the damn snacks and start the movie, " she exclaimed.

Unbeknownst to her, Angela's phone was ringing nonstop with information that was critical to the life of one orange-haired and pink-eyed girl.
