The Female Lead Is A Lesbian

A man in a gas mask had hit Vi in the knee with a sledgehammer.

Vi fell to the floor and her shin was visibly bent. It was a deep red and already seemed to be throbbing.

Jade gritted her teeth and she fought against the leather belts. Red beads formed in the corner of her mouth and rolled down her cheeks.

" *ARGH*"

Vi g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain but bit her lip to contain her desperate d.e.s.i.r.e to scream.

" STOP! STOP IT! WHAT DID SHE EVER DO TO YOU!?"

Jade yelled out and the machine next to her started to go crazy.

The woman scientist just stared at the scene before her. No emotion. No guilt. No...anything.

" Continue." She nonchalantly stated while writing down on her clipboard.

" NO! YOU BITCH! STOP IT! STOP! *AHH*"

Jade tried her hardest to push against her restraints. The straps on her c.h.e.s.t constricted her air giving a blue tint to her already pale shade.

The man raised the sledgehammer again. Aiming for Vi's other leg.

" NO!"

*CRACK*

The hours went by painfully.

Jade never stopped fighting against her restraints. Causing her the straps of leather to continuously rub against her body.

This basically removed the skin on her arms, legs, and forehead. Leaving bloody patches in replacement.

Tears marked her face with their salty presence and she had basically chewed off half the insides of her cheek.

Vi was in no better condition, however.

There was no bone left unshattered. No fingernail left unpulled from her hand. No joint was left in its proper place.

Vi had gone numb through half of it but the one thing that brought her any pain was seeing Jade struggle.

Even with the blood blinding her vision. She could still see her little one ruin her body to try and rescue her.

" Stop. It's okay honey."

Jade whimpered as the woman who laid unmoving in a bloody mess on the floor lied straight to her face.

While the woman scientist who had just realized who Vi was talking to, furrowed her brows.

She turned to the machine which was still beeping and whining nonstop.

It still wasn't enough.

She needed real results and her devil of a mind thought up an idea.

" You, "

She walked over to Jade, who glared at her nonstop.

She grabbed Jade's face and squeezed her cheeks.

Her face was still bitterly cold, just like her voice.

" How does it feel?

That woman practically raised you and brought you up into a decent human being.

And here you are, not doing a single thing.

How pathetic."

" *NGH* "

Jade grunted and the light in her eyes became a roaring fire.

" Do you want to save her?"

" Huh?"

"*MMF*"

Jade was confused and Vi made a slight noise. She was down but she was most definitely not out.

She wondered what the bitch had up her sleeve.

" I'll let her go. Allow her to live freely for the rest of her life.

You can either.

One, sign a contract binding your entire existence to this facility. You will never be able to leave. And you will be here until you die."

Jade flinched a bit.

Vi gritted her teeth.

' BITCH!'

She screamed to herself. As moving her jaw took so much strength, that she did not have.

' Jade! Don't! You know better!'

She wished her mouth would work.

" Or,"

The woman began again with her bargain.

She then gestured to one of the men.

He handed her a revolver. Which she held in front of Jade's face.

" You can kill yourself."

You could hear the heavy heartbeats coming from both Jade and Vi in the room's stillness.

The light in both their eyes packed their bags.

" *gasp* "

" *gasp* "

They took in small breaths of air and their heartbeats quickened.

" So which will it be?"

Jade was still too stunned.

The female scientist smirked and let go of Jade's face.

She backed away and whispered something to another man.

" Oh, and you should hurry up in deciding or,"

Vi was then grabbed by her arms and hoisted up above the ground. Her legs dangled and the blood, finding a new course to run, dripped down her legs onto the floor.

*CLICK*

Vi looked up to see a revolver pointed against her forehead.

The woman was smirking and ready to fire.

" Or, she dies. "

" *GUH* "

Jade shouted a random sound and her eyes looked as if they were shaking inside their skull.

" Vi~"

She called out to Vi with her voice shaking.

Vi was shaking. But not even she could tell if it was out of anger or fear.

" I'll give you to the count of five. "

'What!?'

"One."

' No.'

" Two."

'Vi.'

" Three."

' You've always taken care of me.'

" Four."

' So that's why.'

" Five."

' I'm going to repay the favor!'

" WAIT!"

The woman halted her finger from the trigger.

' Even if... it means I'll never be free.'

" Oh? Have you made your choice?"

" Yes. I shall sign the contract."

' No.'

" I'm glad you made a wise decision."

She took the gun away from Vi's head.

'No!'

" Now let's get you situated."

'No!'

" Well, first off, let's get rid of your friend here,"

She waved her hand and Vi was started to be dragged off.

" Now, since you probably don't know how to write. We'll just need your fingerprints."

'No!'

" I'll do whatever as long you let Vi go."

" Good, now all we need to do is stamp your fingers and we'll be all-"

" NOOO!"

Vi's sudden outburst made everyone turn their heads.

Just in time to see.

*CRUNCH*

Vi used every fiber in her being to bite off her tongue.

(A/N I know that biting off your tongue wouldn't really make a crunch sound but it was just for effect)

The useless little pink piece of flesh fell to the floor. Along with a fresh stream of blood.

Jade's eyes were wide. Her mind was frantically trying to process what was happening.

Even the female scientist, who rarely broke character, showed visible shock.

Vi felt the warm red drip down her chin onto her throat.

' Crap.

I forgot to say it.

I've never said it out loud before. I should have said it, I should have.

My sweet girl.

I'm so stupid.

But you're more stupid. You can't just give up your whole life for me.

Well, I guess I'm one to talk. But you're so young and I'm getting up there in age. The world has seen enough of me but it hasn't even met you yet.

That smile. Your laugh. Those beautiful eyes.

You're gonna be great. You are an extraordinary girl.

I might not be here to see it. But you're gonna rule the world.

Jade's voice practically shook the building as she cried out in grief.

Vi's head drooped down and her soul left her body.

But instead of going up or down, it went somewhere else.
