THE GAMER

Chapter 10 - SIBLINGS

He was going for the exit after practicing his new found skills, now he would need one more breathing technique to see the effects of the fusion skill.

As he held the handle of the exit door a sweet but loud voice called out his name and when he turned towards the source of the voice, Maha was running towards him while signaling him to stop.

"Observe" Shaheer mumbled under his breath.

[MAHANOOR AFRIDI (Lv.20)

CAPTAIN OF THE GREEN SNAKES

The only daughter of the leader of the Green Snakes sect with her two brothers. The most talented among her siblings, hence the title of captain was granted to her.]

She wasn't the most attractive beauty but a beauty indeed as she was short but chubby in the right areas, with black long hairs and clothing of someone who holds a nick for fashion.

Shaheer waited for her to come while he checked her information. They both exchanged pleasantries as it has been some time since they last met.

"Shaheer, if you can spare some time would you spar with me?" she said while making a begging face.

"You seem pretty confident, have you finally figured out how to defeat me?" Shaheer asked as he could see the confidence hidden those fake expressions.

"Why? Would you not like it if a girl kick your a.s.s once in a while?" Maha said while smirking.

"A bold statement from someone who have never won." Shaheer said with a carefree expression sprinkling salt in her wounds.

As she was never allowed to go all out with her hidden powers on Shaheer, she had never won a match on a fair ground as she was a straight forward fighter.

"This time the result might be different." She said while she swished her hand and made a fist to encourage herself.

"You should know I'm not the same as I was before." Shaheer was concerned that he might break her confidence but little did he know the fight had already started.

"We'll see" Maha said while heading straight towards Shaheer with a pulled back punch.

Shaheer could see the punch in slow motion as his senses seems to increase but this was not a usual occurrence of him.

He more or less guessed that this was because of the passive effects of the Green Snakes martial arts he learned a few minutes back but instead of being amazed or surprised a disappointed expression could be seen on his face. He already never had any competition among his age and now that his abilities are seem to be increasing everything is becoming more and more boring.

He casually dodged the punch while aiming one at her stomach but before his punch could connect he heard a whooshing sound coming from behind him. He felt a foreboding feeling so he reacted quickly and jumped sideways a boomerang swish through the place where Shaheer head was moments ago as Maha grabbed the boomerang with the same hand she made the punch from.

"Ah! MAN! When did you get all that speedy! I thought if I could keep you distracted enough the boomerang will hit you. BUT NO! You have to go and become fast now that I came up with this flawless plan! You weren't even close to this speed before dammit!" Maha was throwing a tantrum as a child as she did not want to accept that the plan she came up has been destroyed. She was doubting if she was really just a dumb person who is only good at going head to head with her enemies?

Shaheer had a carefree expression but he was surprised at the planning behind the attack, he could roughly remember Maha moving her hand a little fast when making a fist but it was not something that grabbed his attention as he saw nothing in her hand. He has fought with Maha a couple of times and she was a straight forward fighter. Her use of boomerang was flawless and unpredictable, if Shaheer had not received the passives of the new martial arts skill he might have had tasted defeat here.

"I warned you" Shaheer said with a carefree smile.

"Nice dodge." A compliment came flying towards Shaheer as he noticed the voice belonged to someone he knew.

HAROON AFRIDI (Lv.18)

Shaheer noticed how Haroon does not have a title just like any normal person, but his level was not the type Shaheer was used to seeing.

Haroon was the youngest of all the siblings but unlike others he is not a battle maniac and have never asked to spar with Shaheer.

"Thank you, I would love to share some pointers with you anytime you want." Shaheer said as already knowing the answer.

"Sure someday" Haroon said while moving back towards the house. He was definitely escaping.

"I would take my leave now, hope someday you could fight me without your restrictions" Shaheer casually said while exiting through the door leaving a dumbfounded Maha behind.
