THE GAMER

Shaheer has got the notification of a new skill as he feels that his understanding on martial arts has gone from zero to a hundred in mere seconds. He would have never thought that ancient martial arts was this much complicated. Just by learning the true meaning of this book he feels his inner energy has been given a boost of tremendous power.

"You were saying?" Shaheer said while forming a carefree smile while looking at the dumbfounded old man. He was clearly mocking the earlier statement about the old man making him his student if he mastered the basics in a year.

The old man who was clearly at the edge of insanity drifted back with a look of envy in his face and quietly observed Shaheer. This was not something to take lightly. If he could learn skills like that then all he need is skill books of various variation and it would not even take a whole year before he possess the title of a legendary being. While there was still the problem of experiencing battles and getting use to using those skills but with that insane amount of talent and the greed to destroy a capable rival that he possess asking that question would be just a humiliation to oneself.

After collecting his thoughts the old man signaled him to come out as he wanted to see the power of the true basics of the Green snakes martial arts.

"If you don't mind." After traveling to the training grounds the old man extended his towards one of the private sparring ring.

As Shaheer was also itching to take all this energy and new found knowledge out of he went in the center and took a deep breath. He the relaxed his whole body while his breathing become more and more relaxed and at some point even the old man thought that he might not be breathing but then suddenly a whole steam escape the mouth of Shaheer like it was winter as a green color aura enveloped Shaheer's whole body.

In Shaheer's head the notifications were ringing out but he was too focused to concentrate on that. He was concentrating on his entire body as he feels power surging in each and every nerve, he could control his body like never before and he also already knew his own limits which exceeded his expectations as his strength seems to have improved by multiple folds.

Shaheer suddenly turned his head towards the old man who was out of the ring witnessing the true power of the basics, but as the young man turned his head towards him he kicked his leg and flew a few meters away from him as he noticed a refined killing intent from that seventeen years old.

Shaheer was so itching for a fight that he just wanted to fight whoever the first person he sees and he let his true intensions out when he turned to look at the old man but as he saw his reaction he dropped that thought as he knew if the old man saw him as a threat he would not be able to look at the sun the next morning.

But it's not like he would not do anything, 'the old man has asked for a demonstration so I hope he don't mind this.' Shaheer thought as he kicked only his left foot which was not his dominant and shockwaves produced where he was and the ground had a hole in it as Shaheer flew in a straight line upwards like he was a rocket. He had reached the height of an overgrown date tree and came back crashing in the hole which was smashed more after him returning. As he came down he stood up looking at the old man with a carefree expression.

The old man was obviously surprised again which seems to be becoming a random scene now as more time passes. Obviously the old man have seen much more impressive feats but with not with just the power of basics, not to mention he has noticed how he only used his non dominant foot and not his full power. The old man was now losing his mind now that he has seen the power of his own family basics and that he could not master his own family heirloom.

Nevertheless he kept a straight face as he quoted "Your abilities seems to be far more complicated than you made it sound."

Guess I haven't completely unlocked its full potential." Shaheer said while having a carefree expression.

Even Shaheer didn't knew that he could learn skills through books as he already can make skills of his own this was a bonus. He was impressed to see his ability have even copied the learning from the skill book part of the game and he wondered what else this ability was hiding from him.
