Chapter 46: Grinding

Zeke already knows that conquering the forest is no easy task. After all, it's thrice as big compared to the major forest of Elysium. This didn't faze Zeke at all. Rather, he got excited from the idea that there is a wider variety of monsters to kill and conjure afterwards.

However, there is a problem that they do not know of. Just like every other dimension, time works relatively different inside the realm of Yaeger. In such a way that, a day spent there is equivalent to a week in Mythos. Hence, along with their strengthening are the changes that Gallio is already performing all over Elysium.

"Master, what should I do?" Allesiah said, standing right beside Zeke.

The plan he cooked up is simple. The group of Sylvia together with everyone else will take one portion of the forest while Zeke and Allesiah will take care of the rest. The idea didn't sound logical to the group so Zeke simply summoned his [Hellhound] Lupus to demonstrate just how powerful he is.

"Are there any more objections to the plan?" The group didn't respond anymore, allowing Zeke to begin another mass slaughtering spree of his.

Going back to the current situation with Allesiah, the sorceress fidgeted with her staff nervously. She knows how insane her master is and, if he is properly insane again today, then he'd probably ask her to take a large portion of the forest all by herself.

"Allesiah."

"Yes."

"You'll take one side of the forest."

"Oh...you mean a tiny part that I can handle right?"

"Uh. No. You'll take the whole wave provided by one crystal."

"Ahh… I see." Allesiah held back her tears as Zeke left her at her current location. Zeke provided her with a much-needed support of course, leaving both Lupus and Erio to back her up.

Also, he made sure that everyone is safe. With the party system, all members of the group are provided a [Minimap] and [Voice Chat]. This enabled Zeke to oversee the whole scenario as he began killing monsters.

The first thing he did is to sell the [Slime Tamer] skill as he believes that there is no point to the skill.

"I already have Conjure so I could just make the dead slimes into conjured monsters." He told himself, getting the value of the skill which is [5 Skill Points].

He then invested all these points into strengthening his [Poison Cloud] further, making it reach [D+] rank. Then, the massacre began.

"Conjure." He said, raising all the monsters, elves, and bandits which he has converted thus far. On the front lines are Samael, Al, Gull, and Cull followed by the leftover Shadow Wolves. On the trees are the Wood Scout and Elven archers. While the last batch are the Elven Soldiers and Bandits.

"Let's make this quick. I want to take down one of those beasts before this day ends." Zeke told his Conjures who began attacking the monsters that they see. Zeke followed this up with his [Poison Cloud] – surrounding a large area of the battlefield with this deadly toxin.

Soon enough, one area of the forest has been cleared. Over the [Voice Chat] Sylph commented on this saying:

"How is that even possible?"

"Just focus on your side before those monsters kill you." Zeke replied.

He isn't joking about this though. From the looks of it, every monster on the forest is at least as powerful as four shadow wolves combined. Without his [Poison Cloud] backing up his conjured monsters, they'd be easily floored by the ones inside Yaeger's forest.

Among the monsters, the ones fought by Allesiah are the following:

[Pyke Boar]

This monster uses the spikes on its back in order to both attack and defend. The spikes are nasty as they can pierce the armor of Samael. However, they are nothing but prey to Lupus which willingly got punctured by them.

He'd let the boars attack him, biting them afterwards and feasting on their corpses. Allesiah saw as the [Hellhound] perform this and wished that she never encounters a beast such as that on the battlefield.

[Winged Monkey]

These monsters seem to pride themselves in their intellect. Judging by how they simply stay up in the air and fire skill shot. There's no way for units who relied solely on melee to reach them. Adding to this is the fact that they move swiftly in the air, making arrows miss their marks.

The only way for them to be defeated is through skill shots. Luckily, Allesiah is in the area where these monkeys are. And, as she continued meddling with their spells, she fired off her [Darkness Spheres]. She added a homing effect to the spell, attaching clumps of mana to the intended targets. This way, she didn't need to control them manually. Thus, she simply focused on disrupting all their attacks.

Erio is on the ground ensuring that no other creature can come near Allesiah. The [Pyke Boars] who went after the sorceress didn't stand a chance. Erio swung his blade, collecting enough blood for his skill. As he fired it off, a large group of trees got cut down, together with all the monsters that stood in its way.

Both of the monster class mentioned are [F+] ranked which has undergone evolution. Aside from them, there is another monster type which is ranked [E]. This is the [Earth Golem].

The monster towers at a height of 8 ft tall. Its movements are slow but, its defense gives justice to its rank as damaging it takes a lot of effort. Unfortunately for the monster, the elf it is fighting can see the flow of mana.

Golems have mana cores which gives them life. It functions the same as a human heart; pumping out mana all over the golem. As Allesiah saw these, she simply altered the flow of mana within them. She then turned the golems into ice using the mana cores and shattering the golems into pieces.

While greatly potent, Allesiah tires out just like any other mortal. For this, Zeke bought her 10 pieces of [Stamina Potion]. As she drank one, she felt her exhaustion disappear and continued battling even more.

"Would you look at that, Allesiah is actually doing pretty well on her own." Zeke said, observing the minimap while his minions did all the dirty work for him. He then proceeded to looking at the side of Sylvia's party.

As for that group, they also have their fair share of [F+] monsters. These are also evolved forms making them stronger even at Rank [F+].

[Corrupted Serpent]

These creatures are quite tricky as they have a camouflage feature. Their fangs also have toxins which kills anything they bite within a matter of seconds. The serpents are of an abnormal length yet, not enough to overpower their opponents with sheer strength, hence their need for the toxins they use.

Sylvia dealt with these monsters as she set up a barrier around the group. This allowed them to know the position of all the sneaky serpents whose camouflage is difficult to see through. She followed this spell with a forced rain shower. This made the whole area muddy and, also, revealed the serpents which got mud stuck on them.

This allowed Sylph to snipe them off. Firing five arrows at a time and, using spells in order to reload her quiver with even more arrows. Whatever talent she has at spellcasting, she dedicated it all to her archery; allowing her to make a variety of arrows that are fired as skill shots.

[Arachnid Wolves]

These creatures have eight eyes instead of just two. They can also shoot out webs from their mouths, tangling their opponents before they pounce and attack. Though dangerous, Sylvia has already placed an enhancement on the male servant named Sebastian.

The male servant uses a large shield just like boulder does. He can also set up walls and a barrier around himself. Sebastian serves as a decoy while the female savant Harun went for the kill using her spear. The two acts as a synchronized combo, with Sebastian setting up the fight and Harun making the attack as the opponents open their defenses.

As for the [E] rank monster faced by the group, they have the troublesome [Berserker Apes].

These monsters get stronger as the battle prolongs. Thus, it is best to kill them off swiftly. Sylvia is able to face these monsters using blade shaped wind which sliced the neck of the apes thrice before getting removed entirely. The interval of the blades is on a 0.01 second count. This makes it impossible for the apes to defend against because, before they know it, the blades have already hit.

Of course, Zeke has also supplied the group with their own set of [Stamina Potions]. Adding to these are [Mana Potions] and [Health Potions] which he did not give to Allesiah. The reason being, Allesiah also uses the mana all around her, making consumption lesser for the youngest Windsprite.

Although it sounds as if the elves are breezing through the battle, they are actually having a hard time. Upon killing a monster, it takes at least 5 minutes for another monster of the same type to appear. During this interval, they need to constantly trim down the wave of monsters which comes non-stop.

While every other member of his party had great difficulty fighting off these monsters, Zeke simply conjured these monsters as they died. This is not without any limit however.

As he reached 200 conjured monsters, a notification appeared with the words reading:
