When the princess left her mansion with her horde, they had to face the eyes of ordinary people. Those pedestrians were surprised to see the long row of soldiers.

For those who are older, those memories are still evident in their minds. These people have no positive memories of the soldiers. In their eyes, soldiers are just emotionless demons.

So naturally they were worried after seeing the similar scene they saw almost two decades ago.

On the other hand, the younger generations, who were born later, don't know much about the past. They stood on the sidewalk and watched the marching soldiers with interest.

They started making fiction. Even a guy said that he witnessed the princess fighting the king of the Huns in a deadly battle.

New rumors started to arise. Other people joined him. Nobody wanted to be defeated at their fantasy making. They began to describe in enthusiasm how the princess subdued the dragon in the west! Or how she killed the goliaths of the East Sea....There were many more!! In the meantime, in the eyes of the people 'Princess Sun Su Jin of Shan' turned into a legend. She is almost deified by them.

"I am proud of our princess. Who knew that the heavenly empress reincarnated in our kingdom!"

"Actually one day our king went to hunting in Zhu Mountain. There he met the war goddess. Princess is the child of that war goddess. That's the reason why she is always undefeated. I am sure, as usually she will defeat the enemy forces and cut off the enemy leader's head."

"Princess Su Jin is the only hope of our Kingdom. She will make 'Kingdom Of Shan' great again😁😁."

"Hail! Holly Princess!" One young fan shouted.

"Hail! Holy Sun Su Jin!!" Rest of the crowd did same as him. In a moment, their screams surpassed anything else.

"You bunch of fools!" All the people stopped to hear the roar of someone. An old drunkard was seen in the crowd. Everyone's attention turns to him. He said again, "You all are fool." People also looked at him like fools. What is this old guy saying?

To get the full view of the crowd the drunkard rode on a ladder. He was almost falling. But the old drunkard somehow controlled his balance.

"You're glad to hear that the princess will go to war. Do you know which day today is? "

Nobody answered, because they have no idea. He threw the bottle of wine in his hand on ground and it broke with a loud sound.

"Today is demon king's birthday," he replied himself.

Nobody heard something like 'demons king's birthday' before. But they didn't want to reveal their ignorance. So they pretend as if they knew!

"And you want the princess to go to war on this unlucky day! If anything happen to the princess, how you will answer the deities after your death?" the drunken old man said angrily.

"You will be thrown directly into the deepest hell." Another drunkard was seen in priest's robe. The attentions of the people turn to the priest. He continued, " According to the Holy Scriptures, the female child who born in King Sun Xiu's house is holy....No, the holiest. So, it is the duty of every believer to protect this celestial being if you don't want to disobey the Gods of the heaven."

The man in robe saw the people hesitated first. But soon they started believing him. The announcement of the priest isn't something new to them; it's just confirmed their assumptions. Because in their minds, Princess already an unearthly being.

So, the priest did not feel the need to mention, from which scriptures the quotations he said were taken. If anyone asked, he might have said the name of some made up scriptures like his previous made up stories.

But People didn't ask him anything.

Common people aren't familiar with religious texts. For this they have to depend on the priests. Moreover, questioning religion is a terrible crime. So nobody wanted to get in trouble. Who knows what words could insult which god! They just silently listened his sermons like an enchanted one.

After ensuring everyone in there believed his words, the so-called priest asked the crowd, "Do you know what the easiest way to get to heaven is?"

"Do you know what the easiest way to get to heaven is?"

No answer came from the crowd. He was happy inside for this. But it did not appear outside. These people are too easy to be fooled.

"You ignorant people don't even know that. What a grief, "he pretended to be dissatisfied with their silence.

The old drunkard on the ladder was seen coming down. He came forward and said, "Saint! Please, don't be angry with these people's ignorance."

Before he could longer his boastfulness, the so-called saint stopped him, "Skip the overacting. Many of them know about your real personality. So stop bluffing and don't ruin our plan." He whispered, "Just say what you have to say."

"I know what I have to say," the drunkard replied. "Don't think that you are superior to me just because you are a fake saint! You do your own job."

The crowd couldn't hear what they were saying. They thought those two might be discussing some religious myth.

"Listen brothers and uncles! This is the heavenly saint Dà niú, the mount of the Deity of foolishness."

"Da Niu the bull?" one little boy asked. He heard this name before from his grandfather.

"Yes. You are absolutely right, boy. He is Da Nui the bull. He has appeared in this world to show the sinners the right path."

Da Niu is the name of a heavenly cow of mythology. It is said that he is the mount of the deity of foolishness and a semi-god. He is very famous in the folk-tales. But the saint did not feel very happy with this new identity. He pulled the collar of the drunkard, "Do you want to die? What? I am the bull of heaven! If I do not punish you today, then I am truly a cow!"

But the other didn't seem scared. He said, "Calm down, you fool. That is what will happen if you want to rule over me. People are watching. If you don't want to get beaten by these people, you should act well."

The fake-saint unwillingly let go of the collar. He can't get angry at this moment. When the work is done, he will get many opportunities to deal with this bastard. For now, he has to act well. He looked at the crowd and tried to laugh.

"Are you insane?"The drunkard whispered. "What are you talking about?"

The saint looked at him with confusion.

"I said what is written in the list."

"Where? Let me see." He took the list then rolled his eyes on it. Top of the list there was written: Send your young daughters to sleep with the princess if you wish to gain eternal happiness.

"Eternal happiness is my shit. I understand for whose happiness it's written here. And are you really an idiot. Do you have no common sense? You are not even worthy to be a fake saint."

"But we were told to follow the script."

"Hey fool, here our master has written his own d.e.s.i.r.es instead of the script. We should depend on our own judgment. After all, our master isn't a sane person. You don't need to read farther of the list. If you want to stay alive then shut your stupid mouth for a while. I will take care of this matter. Why does master always make trouble for us?"
