Alex's PoV:

Distere and I raised our condensed mana swords and pointed them towards the huge cheetah.

Distere and I released the mana in our body and we held hands together so that the mana that was released in our body would transfer between each other.

The mana in Distere was transferred into my body and I combined Distere's mana with my mana.

Distere and I collided our condensed mana swords and merged our condensed mana sword into a long sword.

"Swordsman Synchronization!"

Distere and I yelled in unison as our mana was combined in harmony while the two of us were wielding the condensed mana longsword.

Distere and I pointed the condensed mana longsword towards the huge cheetah as the two of us released and channeled our mana in unison.

For the [Swordsman Synchronization] skill to work, the two swordsmen who activated the skill must be in contact with each other so that both of their mana would be combined and synchronized.

It was like playing a double-leg race but instead of tying our legs together, the two of us were trying our hands together to hold the condensed mana longsword.

I was holding the condensed mana longsword on my right hand while Distere was holding the condensed mana sword on his left hand.

I stepped my left foot forward and built momentum while Distere copied what I just did.

After enough force was built, I ran towards the huge cheetah while enveloping the condensed mana longsword with space attribute mana.

Distere also ran with me towards the huge cheetah since if he didn't, then I wouldn't be able to move because the two of us were holding the condensed mana longsword with opposite hands.

In unison, Distere and I slashed the condensed mana longsword and even though it didn't reach the huge cheetah, the space attribute mana had caused an effect of launching a compressed air blade with space mana towards the huge cheetah.

The huge cheetah tried to counter the compressed air blade with space mana by using one of its sharp claws but the force of the compressed air blade with space mana was too strong for the huge cheetah to handle.

The huge cheetah flew backward as the huge cheetah was knockback by the compressed air blade with space mana that Distere and I had launched towards the huge cheetah.

Distere and I didn't stop attacking the huge cheetah as the two of us continued our sword strikes towards the huge cheetah which resulted in launching several compressed air blades towards the huge cheetah.

This time, the huge cheetah didn't dare to block and counter the compressed air blade with space mana since the huge cheetah already knew that attack was powerless against the compressed air blade with space mana.

The huge cheetah evaded the compressed air blade with space mana with ease since the compressed air blade with space mana attack of Distere and I wasn't based on speed but strength.

If Distere and I launched a much faster-compressed air blade with the space mana sword strike towards the huge cheetah, then it would cause the force of the compressed air blade with space mana to greatly reduce.

Distere and I focused on the quality of the compressed air blade with space mana instead of the quantity since if the two of us focused on the quantity instead, then it wouldn't do any significant amount of damage to the huge cheetah.

The huge cheetah waited for us to launch another set of compressed air blades with space mana sword strikes towards it but since Distere and I didn't execute any attacks, for the time being, the huge cheetah decided to attack instead.

The huge cheetah ran towards Distere and me at a speed that was befitting for a cheetah as the world's fastest mammal that could outrun a sports car.

The huge cheetah easily closed the distance between the two of us and it in just a few seconds so Distere and I were forced to be in a defensive position.

The huge cheetah attacked Distere and me using its sharp claws in quick succession which caused numerous compressed air blades to launch towards Distere and me at a high speed.

Distere and I raised our condensed mana longsword and enhanced our senses using mana.

Distere and I waited for the compressed air blades to reach a certain amount of distance between us before Distere and I would deflect the compressed air blades.

After the compressed air blade was at a distance that our condensed mana longsword could reach, Distere and I swung the condensed mana longsword towards one of the compressed air blades that were nearer towards us like a baseball bat striking a ball.

The compressed air blade collided with Distere and my condensed mana longsword which resulted in the compressed air blade forcefully push Distere and me backward.

Distere and I wasn't planning on completely defending and countering the compressed air blade attacks of the huge cheetah but instead, the two of us decided to deflect the compressed air blade attacks of the huge cheetah since it would be much more efficient considering that there were still numerous compressed air blades that were heading towards Distere and I.

Distere and I shifted the power contained in the compressed air blade that came in contact with our condensed mana longsword towards our side since it would consume more force if Distere and I deflected the compressed air blade towards the huge cheetah.

Distere and I were able to deflect one compressed air blade in just milliseconds so Distere and I were able to deflect all of the compressed air blades that headed towards us in just a few seconds without missing and dodging any compressed air blades.

The huge cheetah growled in anger after witnessing that Distere and I successfully defended against its compressed air blade attacks.

The huge cheetah decided to bite Distere and me instead as it ran towards Distere and me at a fast speed and when the huge cheetah was only a meter away from Distere and me, the huge cheetah pounced itself towards Distere and me which closed the distance between it and the two of us much faster.

During the time the huge cheetah pounced itself towards Distere and me, the huge cheetah opened its mouth which revealed numerous sharp teeth on its mouth.

Distere and I quickly moved towards the side to avoid the huge cheetah and so the two of us successfully avoided the huge cheetah.

The huge cheetah landed on the ground and then pounced itself towards the location where Distere and I dodged at.

This continued for a while where Distere and I kept on dodging the pursuit of the huge cheetah and the huge cheetah kept on pouncing towards Distere and me.

Fortunately, Distere and I had synchronized our mana so both of our stamina and mana consumption were reduced greatly which caused us to dodge the huge cheetah without breaking any sweat.

The huge cheetah halted in pursuing Distere and I after the huge cheetah had realized that it's the pursuit of attacks towards Distere and I was consuming its stamina and mana while Distere and I were unaffected.

The huge cheetah changed into another alternative as its body shone with bright blue mana that enveloped its entire body.

The huge cheetah's body started to change its shape and since the huge cheetah's body was covered in bright blue light, Distere and I weren't able to see what had transpired after the huge cheetah was covered its entire body with mana.

After the huge cheetah's body was no longer covered in mana, the huge cheetah revealed its body that had gone through a jaw-dropping transformation.

The huge cheetah was no longer standing on the ground with its four feet but instead, with its two long hind legs.

The huge cheetah stood straight and its figure was similar to that of a human. The huge cheetah's body was similar to that of a beastman as its head had long lustrous hair that was at waist length.

The huge cheetah possessed the same fierce eyes from before that were in deep orange and yellow shade. There were a pair of cuddly ears that protruded from the head of the huge cheetah.

The build of the huge cheetah was average and it possessed a slim figure. The huge cheetah was male so its figure was masculine and its arms and legs showed some muscles that weren't too bulky but exuded a strong aura.

The huge cheetah was no longer an uncivilized beast but instead a being that was similar to that of a human.

There's no doubt about it! The huge cheetah had anthromorphed into a human being and its body was similar to that of a beastman.

Even I would mistake the huge cheetah as a beastman if I didn't witness its transformation.

The other members of our group and the surrounding high-level monsters had also noticed the transformation of the huge cheetah but they didn't bother about it too much and proceeded with their fight that they had postponed for a while to look at the huge cheetah.

The huge cheetah looked at Distere and me as it observed the two of us before opening its mouth.

"You, humans, have driven me to the point that I was forced to transform into my human form. Now that I'm at my peak condition, let's continue our fight, shall we?"
